Everyone says that in the midst of a noisy city, one finds peace in RK Math- anywhere in the world.This centre in Chandigarh has an added advantage- the city around it and the campus of the Ramakrishna Mission are a haven of tranquil silence that immediately transports you to another realm. I have visited the Ashram thrice since coming to Punjab recently, and all those times I felt that it took away any and every turbulence within me.The temple, that is the meditation centre one encounters on entering the campus is a beautiful arena, has detailed accounts of saints of different religions and the direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna on the walls. Seating is accommodation for all ages and all types of people. The shrine is a marvel in itself.Clean and green, you will have a great time here.👌👍🙏

If anyone need peace from their mental health then I would recommend u to visit this place and attend the arti at the evening , and I would also like u to read anyone one of its books which are available there for reading purpose in the hall.

Poor library management. Extremely few seats which once booked cannot be transferred to students who are really in need of a quiet place to read. Library staff is highly uncooperative. They have a huge hall but space utilisation is very poor.

I lived in this hostel from 1992 to 1993 for a year . While going through the pictures i am feeling nostalgic, though swami Shiva seva-anand used to occupy the chair in the morning prayer hall. My best wishes to all the hostel students and devotees associated with the mission.

Good place, peaceful, prayer room is there with timings, there is a quite big books and other items shop inside for sale, good books in English and hindi language

A really nice organisation that aims at promoting the knowledge of our inner self. Vivekananda jis literature, which is contained by the mission, is very motivating and soul touching. Following Vivekananda jis values, one tries to create a perfect balance between materialism and spiritualism.

Ramakrishna mission is great.

I have known many religious institutions closely, many are preaching only one god or religion. I have read many books without becoming a follower of Ramakrishna Mission, in any book related to propagation of any religion or propagation of any god. No words were found. Only advice and measures have been given for spiritual advancement, which sounds very good. I started reading the books of Ramakrishna Mission that I was in the dark before. Those books gave both spiritual and practical knowledge to everyone. Ramakrishna Mission I would advise to read books, especially Karmayog and meditation and call for spiritual life and nation
