The ambience is fabulous and its a great place to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Great place for kids as well with the open lawn. They have a decent menu with a limited variety of vegetarian options. The taste is average and hence the 3 stars (we had an omlette and it was way too salty. The veg flambee was quite bland and and a few more veggie toppings might have helped). But a good place from an overall experience point of view.

Ambience is good. But did not like the Ratatouille ordered. The oil used was smelly and was not olive oil for sure. Over all food experience was not good.Only 2 stars for the ambience.

The food is really tasty, great quality. The ambience is very peaceful and nice. Perfect spot for relaxing and having a good meal. Service is a little slow, but worth it.Definitely recommended!!

Beautiful ambience this place has. I’ve stopped over for a cup of coffee and dessert with friends a couple of times and can’t over the calm and the lush green backdrop here!!They have quite a big menu too, yet to try the food properly but I’m sure it will be nice. Coffee is from an estate that they know in Chikmaglur. The coffee is really nice 👍🏼Overall, you should def try this place out!

Walking by..a glimpse of greenary, open space.. wood made me not wanting to regret to spend some quality time in there.. warmth of the sun ,sun rays streaming in, distance between the tables and numerous pots added to the ambience and hunger pangs..The fresh flower in a vase and a bottle of water with mint stalk added to the decor..Staff were pleasant and courteous..We had watermelon and mint cooler, chicken quiche and lasagna..served hot and each bite was very pleasing.We were happily full.Love to head back soon and tick some more off their menu.

We called in early and the owner was very welcoming. He had just entered to open the restraunt and invited us pre-opening time offering coffee till rest of the staff came in. We greatly appreciated this gesture.The food was very well presented and delicious. We ate breakfast and was tempted by the other dishes so ordered takeaway. Lots of great options on the menu. The coffee was great to.Ambience was cozy. Not too formal or leisurely - indoor, cool and just right for a nice cafe.Staff was also very helpful and accommodating. We did not like a coffee so b they promptly exchanged it.We will return for breakfast again and will also bring friends back for a meal.

I love the open air and actual farmhouse feel of this place. The food has consistently been good and reasonably priced for the quality of food that they have on offer.The service is attentive and servers polite.Good and safe place to park your car and perhaps take a little stroll after your dinner too.

Brilliant. A hidden gem in Bangalore. Its so funny that we never went to this place in last 2 years, and it was always there. Anyway, I have to say this place was mind blowing. Best hot chocolate, best cinnamon roll, best Gulash, everything was just fantastic. Truly an amazing dining experience.

Superb place, very good food.

A very well thought out place with great food options and a nice healthy vibe. The restaurant is set amidst greenery which adds to the overall experience.Service is pretty courteous and prompt even though sometimes you might have to wait longer for food to arrive, but then this is not the place for a quick bite.Overall a perfect option to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

Pathetic food and really bad service - for all the big talk from the German manager / owner - the two chicken dishes we ordered were INEDIBLE, the meat was so hard, the knife could just not cut through !! Not to mention about the goan sausage that the fork could not pierce !!! Also one lone person trying to take orders from every single table, is not exactly the way to run a restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon. As a salesman, he was really good, but that did not live up to the expectations set, as the food was a huge letdown. The staff are there only to serve and clean up, ask them anything and they will say wait for the manager... Service was super slow oh we make everything from scratch and ensure it is perfect - but the quality of food was substandard. The ambience was great though (hence the single star) but if its only for the ambience, I suggest you may as well go to a park., We were told 25 min for the Quiche which actually took almost one hour !! I guess that was more like Indian stretchable time. Definitely a place to avoid - if you are going there for the food !!!

Great food and ambiance. But they take hell lot of time to prepare the food. Come here only if you are not too hungry or have too much time to spend. Average preparation time is more than 40 minutes

Amazing ambience and host. Its a European styled cafe in midst of a lush farmhouse. Very spacious and lots of things to do. Food is great too. They were serving Greek cuisine on the day we went. We ordered Greek moussake and prawns. Loved the prawns. Feta cheese served on side was also delicious. Would love visiting again soon.

Im surprised this place has a 4.5 star rating. Had taken my entire family including the in-laws for lunch for on my birthday... Was nothing short of a disaster.Out of 11 main dishes only 2 were good.. the rest, undercooked/overcooked or cooked to a point they couldnt even be eaten.Hospitality - 4 Star (The German guy really lightens the mood... 5 stars for the ambience. No a/c. Very pretty place. They some vegan items. Also found ragi sourdough bread. the host was very friendly and the atmosphere is very good. Definitely a good place to relax and unwind.

Nice setting and host, Mr. Peter, who brings in a warm personal touch to the place. Good ambiance, tables are set up with fresh flowers and mint infused water. We had pork meatloaf, a couple of pizzas, and a pasta. While the ingredients are fresh and the dishes look appealing, the clear big upset for us was the bland flavor in few dishes and few things off here and there, like the Gnocchi sauce and pesto spaghetti which felt too dry because of too much cheese conflicting with the joy a pure pesto sauce brings. Similarly the mashed potato was lumpy and the pizzas felt quite soggy and less hearty. Hope to get some better flavors on our next visit.

Place is mesmerizing ...if you like rustic feel cafes...and fresh lettuce and bread...this is the place to be :)

The location and the vibe is just perfect ! Green all around, friendly staff and hygienic interiors. But the low rating is coz of the food alone - the most imp factor in my ratings. Im not sure if its just me but the food is lacking the taste in many layers. Not seasoned well, dry and lack the overall texture you expect when u pay a premium price for a simple thing like a morning breakfast. Hope they work on it since the place has such good vibe to it.

The most peaceful experience of 2020. The restaurant is beautiful, earthy and blissful. The host & stewards were very kind and friendly. The food was amazing - fresh, rich in taste and texture as well as filling portions!This was my first visit and Im sure Ill be visiting more often! Thank you, Peter and team. Beautiful place to sit. Very nice ambience. We faced couple of issues1. Service is slow, may be they are understaffed2. Too much oil in food. Not sure if that is one of a kind experience or how ita cooked here.Overall they can do a much better job if food quality can improve.

Have visited this place much before it was tagged on Google Maps. It was very fine experience both ambiance wise and food wise. Had bruschetta, egg Benedict and ginger masala tea. The taste was very authentic. Will be visiting again. The chef is awesome and took a very good care, very jovial and personally came to serve the food.Paid car parking available at very nominal charge.

Have you ever thought of having German and Italian authentic food in Bangalore. This is definitely a place to go. This is run by a German owner and he has a rich experience in feeding Germans for a quite a long time. Although the number of options are limited, you will enjoy the exquisite picks they offer.

Very nice place with a lot of greenery. Great ambience, good food and Bangalore weather to top it all up. Setting is really good for conversations in small groups, we got a board game and spent a good 4 hours with friends with light munching throughout.

Great place for a lazy brunch. Very casual and cool place to hang out. Food is good, especially the German sausages and eggs. Only wish they had liquor lisence too.

A very lovely cafe with lovely ambience. The only thing we were concerned about was that the waiter was not wearing a mask when we went today. When we asked him if the cook was wearing a mask, he replied, to our surprise, that the cook wasnt wearing a mask as well. We were very taken aback, and immediately decided to leave although we have always liked this cafe very much. In these troubled times, the least they can do is ask their waiter and cook to wear a mask. It would reflect a level of responsibility and concern, and that in turn will make the customers feel safe and comfortable.

Very personalised service, exclusive dishes very elegantly presented. Great ambience especially if you can get a table in the open. Absolute VFM. Not exorbitant but not cheap either.

A cozy ambience accompanied by finger licking food...bcaon and cheese quality is top notch in their Omlettes...the BLT sandwich with baby potatoes on the side is amazing...lovely aromatic coffee grown by them...Peter is a wonderful warm host...a must visit for everyone ...will come back for sure to explore more

Fantastic experience even on a gloomy sunday with rain 😊. We went for a lazy sunday lunch with family members. Food tastes awesome. Secret is they source most of the ingredients from their own farm. Owner of this place, Peter is really hospitable and warm. Sujith who was taking care of us is also very friendly. Our kids loved this place. I loved my organic chicken sandwich but loved the ragi breads and fresh black coffee even more. A must visit for folks who enjoy european cuisine. It is also convenient that they have online buying options too.

Farmhouse is hands down our favourite hangout as a family. My daughter and I love visiting Farmhouse at least once a week. Peter and Shraboni are extremely polite and hospitable. The food is awesome - and most importantly healthy. Lovely ambience - very peaceful and soothing. Highly recommended!

Extremely Poor and Horrible experience- pathetic service , dispassionate waiters and owner, don’t have a clue how to attend customers, waited for 1.5 hours for food only to know that the food was not ready and not even ordered , although we were following up for a while with the waiters and owner as well .. need to really know how to attend to customers .. we had kids waiting hungry for that duration, water came in after repeated follow ups after 30 mins and then after further follow up got to know food is not even ordered and was not even available.. we had to leave with a most horrible feeling .. owner had no clue what was happening .. as an expat owner, he should know how to cater to customers if he has opened a restaurant to serve .. most horrible , pathetic and worst experience in a restaurant.. finally we left without food .. will not recommend to anyone .. most horrible and insincere response and service.. #boycott

Cozy ambience, fresh ingredients and fabulous service makes The Farmhouse Kitchen & Bakery a great place for a lazy breakfast, an easy going lunch or a cozy dinner! It has become our go to place to dine or order in. They have a lovely food menu and great selection of breads. Recently had their Pan y salsa (Bread & Dips) which was great but the pièce de résistance was the Churros! I love churros and planned my entire meal around them and was truly not disappointed!!! A must visit just for the Churros!! Actually the Churros and the coffee which is fantastic too!
