Thalassery Restaurant located in Marathahalli Bridge, Due to Corona they didnt switch on AC so very hot in inside the hotel. Food is average and coat wise also okay.

Its a good place. I have visited this place many times and had ordered biryani, meals and kappa biriyani. Meals was good but need to come early before the stock gets over. Biriyani taste falls between okay to good. Kappa biryani was yummy with adequate masala. They have average space and most of them are 4 seater table but during peak time its overcrowded and need to wait. Hope now due to covid situation will be different. They provide variety range of food. Among some of them are seasonal and time fixed. Cleanliness and hygiene are okay.They do clean immediately after each table customer checks out. You need to have an idea what dish you prefer to place an order. Like other restaurants staffs here are not efficient to guide you through the menu or suggest. However, their serving and customer service are good. Waiting time for the order varies depending upon the number of order placed. Its definitely one of the decent places you can opt in Marathahalli.

Initially I gave 5 stars to this hotel but with each visit I my ratings went down because of inconsistency in food quality, somedays it good and someday its bad👎

Good place have malayali style dishes. I had chicken shawarma with nicely filled with chicken.

Lost its charm.. food has become just average quality.. biriyani is just plain rice with some ghee mixed with some gravy.. I dont feel anything thalasherry authentic cuisine now..

Here you get Indian, Chinese , tandoor and sea food. talassery dum biryani was not up to the mark. Its a normal biryani in which they cook chciken and rice seperately and mix while serving it. Taste is ok.

Best pazha badji or Puri in marathahalli. 10 per piece. Tea also good. Best place for evening snacks.

There staff is very illmannered and they stairs the ladies like anything. Beware of going to thallessary restaurant marathalli.,specially for ladies... Later I will post the staff pic also if they will continue behaving like illmannered.

Ordered curd rice from here due to upset stomach. It was really good. Curd quantity was good, that is curd rice was not dry. Also, delivery was quick. They served along with lemon pickle. Packaging and quantity was good. Will recommend.

Its a famous Kerala style Or Malabar food restaurant. Here we can get different varieties of puttu,Appam, Kappa curry, fish fry and curry. My recommendation is iyla fish curry. We loved it..

I ordered a prawns pothichoru and got a pile of rice with just 2 small pieces of prawns in it...both rice and prawns were half cooked, feels like a biting a rock...very bad experience from restaurant..its a shame for Kerala and ofc thalaserry..

Lovely restaurant. They serve all kinds of good. The Malabar cuisines are the best. Do try their mutton biriyani and seafood.

Today I had very bad experience with this famous restaurant. We ordered mint lime soda along with Biriyani. The drink they brought was just a mint lime juice and we asked them as there was no taste of soda at all. Even after telling them multiple times they billed for mint lime soda instead of mint lime juice. When I questioned with manager he had very arrogant answer saying they grind mint lime and soda all together in mixi and gas will go off. It was so funny. I advised him that soda should be added after making the lime juice. He sarcastically answered that they make it in that way only. I told him that it was worst juice making method no one will offer this customer. Im 100% sure they havent added soda to it. Just to cover their mistake customer should believe whatever they say. Worst experience today.

It was the first time I decided to have Kerala Style Food and reached Thalassery which is very near to my place.Everything in menu was new for me except variety of dosa , I was confused to select as I was unaware of Kerala dishes, so I thought to give a try to Puttu.When it was served it was very new for me and I was amazed to see it, it looked like some role made of coconuts.It was a new place, new dish and a very new experience for me so I was excited about it.As soon as I had it it was a sweet taste , then I added some spicy chicken curry and had a bite, it was like amazing taste in my mouth, a mouth watering delicious feeling I had, I enjoyed my first experience of Kerala food.Looking forward to visit this and more places to have more such exciting Kerala food.

This is an ok place to go to for mallu food in bangalore. They have many branches all across the city, a populaar name in Bangalore indeed. Though i visit them only, when i crave for some Puttu and kadla curry. This is a budget restaurant, so dont look for ambiance, service and hygiene, only go there for the food. Food is OK, not bad.

Very bad experience especially on the service side. No basic manners for the waiters ordering food - rude waiter serving with unhygienic way. Waiters are not even listening properly towards customers. Even after complaing to the manager, no use. Better go to Maria taste circle(nearby in case if you want Kerala food). Else you can find plenty of restaurant near by. By the way there is no proper authentic way of Thalassery food. Its just a below average resturant - just for running business

Very bad food. I had sardine and Pomfret from there today with meals. Fish is not fresh, it is old and the frying was worst. I have went to many Thalassery restaurants in bangalore, but this is really worst kind of service. I wont prefer it to anyone. Better go to Maria circle restaurant near Marathahalli for kerala food.
