One of the best restaurants here in Bangalore. It is not only food. It is like a composition. Even an ordinary salad dressing simply tastes like a work of art. We had also 3 kids with us. They prepared special food for them as they are really young. So we were all happy. Thank you for this great food!

Amazing place. From the ambience to the food to the service everything was top notch. What stood out for me was how well the table and the surroundings were setup. Candle lit, lots of flowers, surrounded by trees. Perfect place for a romantic evening.

I had wanted to visit this place since 5 years. We had a 5-course meal here during the daytime. The place offers 5-course and 7-course meals, wherein there is a set menu which changes everyday. We paid around 2.7k per person. Overall, we got to eat the following:- Vegetable tart with microgreens- Fried onion with skin covered with feta cheese- Salad with ice lettuce, orange, black olives, and walnuts- Main course - aubergine filled with fillings and hummus- Chocolate torte with almond ice-cream which is infused with rumLoved the service here and the time taken between serving each meal course. Overall, we took around 2 hours to have a 5-course meal.What I didnt like was the overrated price. Also, the food wasnt too much out of the world for me, maybe because it was too new a cuisine for me. The proportion of each serving was pretty less, for the price that we were charged.This is a good place for a one-time visit for a romantic lunch/dinner.

This place is just wow. Dont go by negative reviews. I was a bit doubtful seeing the review and the price,but at the end of the day it was an amazing experience.The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but the experience and food is just amazing. Its worth every penny.Only negative point was there is no seprate non smoking areas so at times you will find idiots who will be smoking.

Very calm and serene place. This place is for foodies who enjoy crafty food. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. The herbs, meat, spices, and vegetables were all super fresh. Yes the cost is on the higher side but can understand the same given the quality food, service and only 5 tables being served with complete attention.Note for owners:1. Please put a nice neon sign board on the main road, as this place is off main road and cabbies gets confused (My uber gave up on me and had to walk on the main road)2. Im 6ft. tall and I felt the chairs were uncomfortable for my size.

The place is absolutely fantastic. The food is beyond delicious. We had the prawns and chicken for starters. And the lamb for main course... And I havent had a better lamb in my life. The chef and the staff are so humble and make you feel welcomed. They are very accomodating, and try to cater to any special requests.Definitely going back to try their lunch menu.

A fine dine restaurant. Best suited for date. It offers a 5 course and 7 course meal. The food is on a healthy side. If you are looking for a healthy diet date, you may prefer this. The place is good clam and very suitable for romantic diners, food quality and quantity both are fine, but not much verities given for vegetarians, its not worth for vegetarians.. Very limited collection in wine too.. Staff are good friendly and dont forget to check the bill before paying, I had a bad experience at this point, where their was a clear total mistake which anyone can notice easily (I dont know if it was done purposely or by mistake) and when I asked they changed the bill.. 2 star are given only for the place, which we loved it very much..

This is the place to go.The beauty about this place is that it grows on you.There is not a whole lot of appeal at first on the front but then after you settle 2-3 hours here, it has a warm accepting vibe.The staff is top notch and the food is an experience altogether.Suggestion would be to place a booking a week earlier or more si that they can customize the entire menu to your preferences. Yes, it is a personalized experience.Must visit, especially for date nights! 😊

Beautiful, romantic, excellent food.The setting in a beautiful garden where your way is guided by candles is very special.The tables are covered by flowers and candles and some are under the stars while others are under a roof but still in open air.The 7 courses menu is filling without exaggeration and made of fresh market products cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.My favorite western restaurant in Bangalore.A year later:The quality of the food is still great and some dishes are even more elaborated. Grasshopper is a great example of a boutique restaurant with just a few tables, wanting to stay that way, with complete focus on the food and the lunch/dining experience. I came here after many years with family, we had a lovely 7 course meal that stretched from 1pm till 4:30pm, in a wonderful setting. Great place for kids, who can run around the beautifully landscaped property, and its also pet friendly. You have to book couple of days in advance. Highlights from our meal: lamb rounds in spiced red wine sauce, the asparagus, the chocolate ganache with mustard ice cream.

If you havent been here, then go. Its that good. You need to book a table, so pick up that phone and go and experience this place for yourself.

The place has got highest reviews in zomato ! We tried it for the same reason and its worth it. You have to book the table before hand and let then know the details. Reaching the place is a bit difficult if you are using public transport. If you have your own vehicle then its the best way. Its between a forest and the ambience is kickass. Worth a visit!

They will then call you to take your preferences of what you like and what you dont to prepare the menu accordingly. You can choose either a 5 course or 7 course meal. Lovely place for a special occasion. They have pre decided menu so you focus on your evening. They have some pet dogs there wholl occasionally come for some love, and theyre very well behaved as well. Its located off Bannerghatta road into a secluded area away from all city feels. Meal is not the most delicious youll have but the overall experience is definitely worth it.

As I entered this place, I couldnt help but be a little confused if we have come to the right place. But as I was guided to the seating area, it was exquisite. It was like being transported to the most serene place in the world away from all the traffic and humdrum of the city.This was short lived; as you wander your eyes across the place and around you realize this establishment, in the middle of nowhere is just quiet and not much more. Through the seven course meal, there were a couple of dishes that I enjoyed, otherwise it was a really expensive meal just to satiate your hunger.All in all, its a nice place to get away from the city and quite a romantic one at that. But the price tag doesnt do justice to either that or the food.

We went in there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were super impressed with the setting and the warmth of the place...wr.t.the food ..it was an amazing spread...but be warned about the quantity its very small...like too less...i think the guys would not be satisfied with the quantity...prior reservation is mandatory as its just a 6 table setting...overall definitely an experience not to be missed!

There are very limited tables and the ambience is amazing. Booking in advance is advised, no followup was required. Its a little costly but worth the ambience on some special days. Food is European style, if you have any preferences then please state the same while booking. I went for my anniversary and we had booked a day in advance for a 5 course meal - non vegetarian. It started with a welcome drink, 2 starters then accompanied with a salad and then the main course followed by a dessert. They also gave a pastry as a gesture. It was a beautiful candle-lit dinner. It made my wife happy to be in such an environment. Reaching here would need gps navigation. Really liked the atmosphere and the ambience. The staff is courteous too. The only downside was that there was a nearby building getting constructed which was creating a lot of noise during the dinner.

If you like continental food , this is the place to be !! The price is on the steeper side , but once you experience Grasshopper, you realize that you have actually paid less- the experience is that good . They allow kids only on Sunday Brunch - be mindful of that . The ambience , the decor is wonderful , with fresh flowers on every table . Rated 5 stars ( unfortunately thats the maximum allowed) . Best quality food Ive tasted in the world . Super tasty.last night, i went back to Grasshopper restaurant after one year of not going.It was a culinary ultimate explosion of exquisite flavor s. I had the vegetarian 7 course , one dish was potato gnocchi with a foam coconut milk , smoked butter , and crispy garlic . Ive never in my travel tasted such an incredible dish as this. the gnocchi was flavourful beyond , not starchy at all and the smoked butter sauce , which absolutely no word can discribe as to how delicious this was , left you wanting more . Then i had grilled veggies with this totally delicious mint pea puree , the veggies were grilled to perfection and the mint pea sauce just the tastiest puree ive ever had . Dessert was hard to choose between the lemongrass ice cream and the coffee panacotta , i went for the panacotta which i was so glad as the texture and taste made the end of one of the best meals ive ever had a really tasty experience! ( my friend had the lemongrass ice cream which is also to die for.the service was tentative , informative and very on point . All in all its an absolute must - go experience exquisite culinary evening...i highly recommend this place

Setting and ambience is great. The entrance is a little suspicious though.We had booked a table a week in advance for a 5 course meal. First was prawns, which was good. Second came a deliciously prepared chicken. Third was a orange salad, not to my liking. Fourth - lamb, sumptuous, both quality and quantity were impressive. The last dish was a honey and cinnamon ice cream, a wonderful finish to a beautiful evening.

I booked a private dinner for my first wedding anniversary. The experience was nowhere compared to the amount they charged (Rs 10000 for a 7-course European meal!). The menu wasnt shared beforehand, and we were taken by surprise by the dishes we were served. The portion sizes were tiny. One of the courses was of the size of one sev puri! We expected atleast a glass of wine at such a humongous price. The hospitality seemed like a formality. We were promised a complimentary dessert on the occasion of the anniversary, which turned out to be a tiny pastry, probably worth Rs. 30 at a roadside bakery. They served us the cheque before serving the dessert, which felt insulting.In a nutshell, if you like their cuisine, try it in their A La Carte. At 10000, you might as well plan a weekend getaway to a nearby place and spend a much more quality time. Would recommend the owners to visit Evolve Back at Coorg to see what Service, Hospitality and Value for Money mean.

Best dining place for couples. A very supportive staff with delicious food. Candle light dinner in the midst of nature should call a day for couples. They host a private candle light dinner for couples at top. A boutique is also in place in case u wanna check out few dresses.

Amazing ambience and decor. Very relaxed meals, spanning over 2-2.5 hours.Given how they are upfront about their cuisine and the courses of meals, Id say they match up to the expectations they set, pretty well.The only downside I felt there were the indoor tables. They have 3 indoor (covered) tables and 2 outdoor tables. The indoor tables are really cramped up together, and really dont do justice to the beauty of the place. This gets way worse when it rains, since the outdoor tables are also shifted in between the already cramped up indoor tables.However, ifyoure at an outdoor table (preferably the corner outdoor table), youll just fall in love with how to decorate and set up the tables and the surroundings. The food does justice to the ambience. It gets even better when theres a slightly drizzle (or maybe thats just me).

Please understand that this is not a regular restaurant. This is a gourmet meal experience with course meals, for limited number of people, only on advanced booking, cooked only for you! Dont underestimate the Bangalore palates and pockets as there are many people who come here and in spite of the premium rates, the place is usually booked. The food is very good but I wish they could give a better options for the non alcoholic beverages.

I would definitely not recommend this place, no idea why people had created a hype about it. They dont guide with honesty they never said there is alcarte here, instead cheat people by saying there is 5 course and 7 course meal. The food was really horrible dint like one dish. Too dam pricey for no reason. Ambience was so dark you cant even read the menu without a torch from your phone. Its an old apartment back yard they have just put some normal tables thats it. There is absolutely nothing good about this place. Customer service is even more horrible. We were 6 of us and bill came upto 11500 its called day light robbery I never ever want anyone to go through what I want through.
