Visited this restaurant a few weeks ago for a Mughlai treat! The restaurant is bit smaller space wise and have a low light settingFor starters we ordered, Tangdi kebab and Murgh kali mirch. Both the starters didn’t disappoint. Murgh kali mirch was exceptional! For mains, we ordered mushroom lal mirch, murgh khurma, paratha and mutton biryani! The main course was quite decent. The khurma was a bit runny in consistency expected a bit thick.Overall, decent food, portion size is bit less than expected.

Even if I starve, I will have nothing from Sharief Bhai. I have been visiting and ordering food from the Koramangala branch and it used to be good until last year. Perhaps because of COVID they are not doing as much business as they used to do a year and a half ago and have started to cut down on quantity and compromise on quality.Last Sunday my friend and I got a stomach infection after having the food ordered from this branch, it was really so terrible that we couldnt even complete the meal. Undercooked rice for biryani and God knows what kind of masala they had put in the kababs, they sure were cheap quality.I really wish I had enough time to take action against the restaurant. I will never visit the restaurant or order food. Also, I would never recommend this restaurant even to my enemies.

This restaurant is fantastic for non vegetarian food. Although doesnt have good vegetarian options. The Paneer Gravy dish that we ordered was basically paneer pieces in Chicken Gravy. Not for vegetarians for sure. Non Veg food was great, no doubt. Highly recommended for non vegetarians, not recommended for vegetarians. Matka Phirni also not upto the mark, considering this was a Muslim place. I know Muslim places which serve Phirnis that are cheaper and better in taste.

Its classic and well put into place. The staff are good and they have valet parking. The menu is attractive as well, the food is authentic and mutton items give that perfect flavour. They have a different approach for the way they serve, culilary till the end of hand-wash. Its famous for biriyani and its brilliant. Should try the starters on stone cooked. The quantity of food served is less as well as the price is a bit on the higher side. Should try it.

Sharief Bhai- My new Favorite place for biriyani in Bangalore. This gem of a place was doing rounds on social media from the past few months for being the best in what they do. And I finally got the time to visit them last night and let me tell you, I was mind blown. Their biriyani is something I can have every day all day. The Ambiance is of a rich Muslim cuisine. The staff are just super awesome n the management, the best. The owner still talks to each customer them customise their and get they want, that shows how serious they are regarding the business. A Vegetarian liking authentic Muslim cuisine is hard to come across you might think. In this case, there are numerous vegetarian foodies around Bangalore who frequent this outlet more than they would to a Pure Veg Restaurant - thats the greatness of this place. So I took the suggestions of fellow food bloggers regarding what to order and this is how it went.🔶Highlights of the place🔶▪️ Authentic Muslim Cuisine▪️ Rich Ambiance▪️ Long waiting times on weekends▪️ Amazing staff n a super special management▪️ Best Biriyani in town▪️ Super Value for money🔶What I loved n will recommend?🔸Egg Biriyani- Perfectly Balanced Indian spices with some amazingly flavoured Basmati rice and a couple of eggs. The end result is the heaven descending on Earth when you have each bite. The Mirchi salan is the best Ive had till date.🔸 Paratha with Paneer cutt- Quiet a new flavor to my taste buds, loved every bite.🔸Mathka Phirni and Muzzafar- Two best Aunthentic Muslim desserts Ive had n the best till date.🔸 Chocolate paan- The best ending to one of the best meals Ive had till date. The chocolate blended in to Paan just does wonders, trust me.🔶What I would ask them to improve?🔹 Paneer Kali Mirch- This was too plain for my liking, would love it if you could induce more flavors into itOther non vegetarian dishes my buddies loved:🔹 Gosht Marag, Paaya, Gosht Cutt Kufte Ande, Gosht BiriyaniOverall a very appetizing n an extremely satisfying experience. Love every bite, every minute I spent there. Highly recommended to every Biriyani lover irrespective veg/non veg. Very hygienic as well. Even a Pure Vegetarian wouldnt feel uncomfortable in this place. Im coming back numerous times in the coming future. My pitstop for Biriyani cravings is set is yours? If not head here today n have a portion of their mind blowing Biriyani.🔺Ambiance: 4/5🔺Food: 5/5🔺Service&Staff: 4.5/5🔺Value for money: 4.5/5

Nothing is more apt for this review than The tagline of My Blog The FOOD ADVENTURE which says “An Expedition of exploring different restaurants is an exuberant and mesmerizing gastronomical journey. The joy of seeing culinary masterpieces is heavenly bliss”. There are just a handful of places which meet expectations but this has surpassed it all and has set a standard that cannot be beaten. This newly opened restaurant is a master in Authentic Traditional Muslim Cuisine. Each dish on the menu has a separate distinguished taste and a different preparation technique. Variety of options to choose from. All recipes belong to Ms. Falak, wife of Mr Sharief that have a unique personal touch. Thanks to them Ramzan Special Delicacies are now available all year around. All ingredients are fresh, some ground in house. For me it was a moment of nostalgia reminding me of my Grandmother’s passionate cooking.Food- Starters are Incredible. Impeccable Quality. Impressive Presentation. The Paya Ka Salan and Murg Marag soups not only have an Appetizing aroma but also excite the palate. Patthar Gosht is fantastic. Slowly cooked on a stone slab to perfection that melts in the mouth. One of my favourite. Shami Kebab is outstanding. Stuffed with piquant minced meat and egg, it is crispy and provides an explosion of flavor. Highly Recommended. Prawns and Teetar (Quail) Fry were Excellent. Juicy, Soft and well marinated making it exceptionally good. Sukki Phaal or lamb chops are splendid. Superb masala, Tender and flawlessly grilled. Chapti Murg is phenomenal. A typical street food. Fabulous Fried Chicken Pieces on a stick dipped in spice with a scrumptious outer covering. The other top notch dishes that I relished and deserve a special mention are Tandoori Kebab, Gurda Kaleji and Bheja Fry. The brain mixed in pepper seasoning was the best I’ve ever eaten. Literally!I the main course, Gravies such as Khurma, Nalli Nihari and Cutt Kofte Ande had the right Right texture, thickness and spices giving it a brilliant taste. Lavish yet light. What a quintessential Muslim Home Curry should be like! Goes Great with paratha.Chicken Biryani is Hyderabadi Style in long basmati rice. I absolutely loved the remarkable Bangalore Style Mutton Biryani in small ‘Zeera Samba’ rice. Flavourful layers of rice cooked in succulent meat that imparts an essence to the masala.Apshoola Lime Drink and Sulemani Chai are nice and refreshing. For Desserts, Indian Sweets were a true delight. Muzaffar was extraordinary. Made of rice, it was rich, creamy and had generous amount of nuts adding to the crunchiness. Matka Phirni is terrific. Halwe ki poori made with ghee was so delicious and irresistible that I burned my Mouth with the hot khawa. However fish is average and can be improved. (9/10)Service- Exemplary. Wonderful Hospitality. Staff make you feel comfortable with their royal treatment. Waiters are polite, courteous, attentive, efficient, knowledgeable and well trained. It might bit a bit slow and take little longer when there are more people because everything is made fresh as per order. Valet Parking Available. (8/10)Ambience- Amazing decor that gives an elegant Vintage Muslim Homely Feel. Matching White Crockery enhances the attractive look. Beautiful wall designs. Comfortable sofas and chairs for seating. Spacious Arrangement. Well planned layout. Large spectacular lights. Magnificent Mughal Painting and colourful chandeliers at the entrance. Marvellous View of the Live Open Kitchen through the glass. Calm and peaceful atmosphere with light old hindi music in the background. (9/10)Overall- (9/10) A extremely satisfying meal and a memorable experience. Will surely keep visiting again to satisfy cravings. Economical Pricing. Pocket Friendly with Value for money. If live to Eat is your ideology, Sharief Bhai is a must try, a rare gem that you will regret missing.

We started with chicken soup which good and spicy, feels great in the cold monsoon weather. Then we had teetar fry which was nice and crispy not very spicy. After that we are anjal fish fry which was good as well. Then we are nalli nihari which is lamb shank pieces gravy with chappati, the gravy was thick and tasty, the rotis were nice and soft just like homemade. We also tried the chicken pakoda which again was very good, crispy and tasty. Then we finished off with mutton biryani which was really good, similar to the ones you get at Bangalore Muslim weddings. For desert we had the matka pirni which again was great, just like how my mom makes it at at home. Finally we had magai pan which was also good. An amazing place for a family dinner, very reasonably priced. Decent ambiance. Halal food. The service was quick and efficient. Nothing negative to say about this place. Its very rare that I have given a restaurant 5 rating just based on food. Whenever I rate a restaurant, ambiance, service, presentation all matters. But in Shariefbhai all this are just upto tge requirement. No overdo. They bank only on the taste of their food and if you are a true foodie.. that is going to blow you over. Those who are true foodie and experienced proper street food at legendary places like Parathewali gali in Delhi or Khaugalli in Mumbai or Newmarket area in Kolkata, they can experience the same true and unspoiled flavours. For me it was completely unpretentious food. No jazzy garnish, no showy waiters, no frily decors. Just pure and simple food, presented at a basic hygenic level.Anybody is visiting here, please do try their Mutton Shami Kabab and Patthar Ka Gosht. Dont ignore the mint chutney on the side of the plate. Its the best green chutney I ever tasted. Beutiful flavours of mint and coriandar with a light tangy flavour. Do try their meatball and keema varieties. We ordered it with paratha. Light and flakey parathas just melt in the mouth. Lot of people recommended Biriyani, but I am yet to taste it. In desert, the Halwein ka Poori is a must try. Its our regular gujiya with a twist.I love their food and love the portion size. Another thing I appreciate about this place is that they serve, half plates with smaller quantity. So single or couple diners can taste a lit of items without wasting money and food. My recommendation goes to them.

Was always curious about the buzz {Sharief Bhai} has been in social media & awaited an opportunity to try them out.I happened to finish off some work near Koramangala, & decided to take away some good food from here. But before, & as always with any new Biriyani place that am trying, I requested them to provide me a sample to taste. Loved the taste of the Mutton Biriyani & decided to go full on ordering a huge takeaway for my small family of three.First went ahead with ordering the full portion of their signature Muslim Style Mutton Biriyani cooked with Zeera Samba Rice. For starters, out of the many options I chose to go with small portion of Tandoori Chicken, Ghost Shammi Kebab, Murg Kali Mirchi Ki Sukki Phaal. Thanks to the small portions, I was able to order many dishes to try. We did order a full portion of Tawa Masala Prawns, which came highly recommended. All the starters were wonderful, the Tandoori Chicken was full of flavour, beautifully charred & bursting of authentic tandoori cuisine. The prawns definitely lived up to all those rave reviews onlineThe Ghosh Shammi Kebab were yummy, melt in your mouth goodness, and the Murgh Kali Mirch was beautifully living up to its name with sharp black pepper bursts. Now coming to the star of the show, the Mutton Biriyani. It was absolutely fabulous with strong meat flavours & Indian spices playing its trick in perfectly cooked short grained zeera samba rice. It definitely smelled heavenly & felt heavy, but still kept me wanting for more. It has been long since I had a traditional Shaadi Biriyani this good here in Bangalore. Now I understand why this place is trending with such good words online & no wonder am a big fan too now. This place comes highly recommended for anyone craving for some good food & not just traditional Muslim Wedding Style Biryani.

I visited this place for the second time, thinking that the food will be as amazing as the first time. But i was disappointed.I even ordered the same food which i ordered first time. But the taste was completely missing.Ghost Marag was good but they served just a single bone piece (which hardly had any flesh) with the soup & the quanity was very small for the price.Pathhar Ghost was very rubbery and chewy with hardly any flavours in it, not even salt.Ghost Biryaani tasted like just plain rice without any flavour or spices or even a bit of ghee.Surely this will be my last visit to this place.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I just love muslim cuisine and used to explore places near shivajinar and frazer town to taste such delicacies during ramzan. Finally found a place in Kormamangala that serves ramzan kind of food year round.Ambience:It has a open kitchen where you could see all the food preparations. The place has simple basic interiors, nothing too fancy.Service:THe owner and his wife come to your table & greet you. A beautiful restaurant located in the Jyothi Nivas College Road which boasts many restaurants around. Their interior resembles to royal palaces. They serve Authentic Muslim Hyderabadi cuisines. The management (lady) of the restaurant was extremely caring and made me feel that I am not in a Restaurant. I felt like I had been to my close family house.Ordered their Mutton biriyani (half ) as I went alone. Biriyani was splendid as all the spices were really mixed, Mutton was cooked very well and loved every bit of it. Only suggestion is they need to add more Mutton pieces as it won’t be sufficient for one person (half biriyani here costs equal to the full biriyanis provided in the nearby restaurants.)Their service is excellent and you would find difficult to park 4 wheelers but who cares they provide such an amazing food.

As they say authentic Muslim cuisine and its every bit of true. Not much big in space so have to wait for 15-20 mins for your seat but after that service is fast and staffs are also well trained & polite. Now to food, thumbs up for the taste and price is also reasonable. I will recommend to try their har-dil-Azeez Ghost Biryani and Patthar Ghosht if you are fan of mutton.

Worst experience. Seeing the 1000 ratings for this restaurant in Kormangala I decided to try this place and ordered Ghost Biryani as take away and when I reached home and opened the package I found they have given me Paneer Biryani. I called up the restaurant and spoke to one lady staff and she asks me to travel back 20 km at 10 pm to return the biryani so that she could give me a replacement of gosht biryani, such is the professionalism shown by these people towards a customer, Beware guys if u order a take away u might be the next one to be cheated by them and also I dont see anything edible in their restaurant as I got burnt tasteless stale tangdi kabab , my whole evening was ruined just because I entered this place. Funny part is packaging says Khao to jano, bhaiya Bina khaye hi jaan Gaye .

Amazing muslim home style food. Portion size for most of the items has been immaculately designed - small and large. Order multiple small starters to taste the most of whats being offered.Paya shorba is a must try.

When someone starts a food venture from heart not only from money you can see that in their food. In authentic Muslim Cuisine I thought they have only shadi ki biryani or zeera rice (small grain) biryani. But they proved me wrong. First of all dont expect the same taste of butter chicken and Dal Makhani taste and method of cooking is different. They dont outsource the cuts of mutton they cut the caracasse on their own that makes them total different from others. They tried at their best to give the ambience as the old Muslim house and quite achieved it as well. Cutlerys also they outsourced it from Delhi because of non availability in Bangalore market its called as Tamchini in pronounciation may be the spelling is wrong.

This newly opened restaurant in Jyothi Nivas College road serves some delicious and mouth watering non veg food. Its a small place with limited seating capacity of may be around 40 persons at once, but the food is mind blowing. Usually there is a wait time of 10-15 mins in peak hours. I tried Murg Marag, Mutton Biryani, Murg Phaal and Roti here. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended
