Very tasty authentic indian food, enjoyed my birthday family dinner here today.

We went for dinner to this place with our Guatemalan friends. Tried veg Manchurian which was way too different that what we have it here in India. Also tried paneer tikka masala with roti and not only our friends, but we loved it too. The staff is helpful and polite. Ambience is great

We arrived in Belfast and really fancied an Indian meal , the place is small but pleasant, choice of beers was just cobra but it ok , now the food was absolutely beautiful, I had a starter, main and couldnt move after really top notch food, would definitely return when in Belfast again

Very nice place. Curries are served in a large dish. Serves bottles of Cobra. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Good if you are heading to the cinema or going for a drink in one of the nearby bars.

Wouldnt serve me because they said that they were fully-booked. The place was nearly empty. I went outside and asked if I could book a table in about 10 minutes time. They replied, Certainly sir. What the ...?!

Food was overly priced and it had no taste at all.Would not recommend this place.

Terrific delivery service from a restaurant I am previously familiar with eating out in. First time using their delivery option. Food arrived 10 minutes early which was perfect. Top marks for the food itself!

This is my all time favourite Indian restaurant to go...we go here probably once a month or every 6 weeks and thats probably because we would be ashamed to go every week! Everything is just spectacular, from the ambience, to the staff, to the food! If youre a spicy junkie, this is definitely the place to go! It excites me every single time! And the mango dessert they have, I have been so sad they havent been doing their desserts lately because of covid but I can recommend 10000% that this is not only top Indian restaurant, but my absolute favourite restaurant to go, ever!

Went in a few days back. Didnt eat the food as the waiter insisted that I cannot just have starter and had to order the main dish as well. I was not too hungry and so told the waiter that I dont want the main dish as I would not be able to eat it. For that he responded Then pack and take it. I just left as I had a flight to catch and didnt want to carry a bag of food on flight with me. Have never seen this rule anywhere else!

First time ordering from here it was 35 minutes late everything was freezing cold chips were cold and so hard curry was really watery I wont ever order from here again it was disgusting tbh im not happy at all it was an anniversary meal and this place came recommended fair to say I wont be back again

Very disappointed with service. I thought its a high quality restaurant but I was wrong.We asked for popodams twice and never got them.Also we was hungry but they bring drinks first.We order two meals and extra portion of Tandoori prawns, but the water said its too much and two meals will be enough (so we never got tandoori)Also instead to clear our table and take away empty bottle waiter wanted to take our water we was drinking.

Service was awful, we had to wait a long time to order even though the place was empty. Half of the things on the menu weren’t available. The food was not good, the worst Indian food I’ve tryed. And when we got our bill, we were charged 15 euros more than the Price from the menu and were told that it was because they had upped their prices but not changed the menu but we weren’t told that in the start, just after we complained.

Visiting my birth city with friends and went here on a Saturday night. Food was brilliantly authentic, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Great service too!

Arrived without a reservation,restaurant fully booked ,but with a bit of moving things around the staff managed to find us a table.Excellent first class service! Excellent first class food! Excellent staff! This is why I keep going back.

Good food and service. Told us we had to book meercat offers 24hrs in advance however a couple came in when were there and they told them that they were only valid on lunch times. Appears they dont want people to use them offers. None the less the food was good.

I have been going here for 8 years and it has been absolutely amazing. It’s cooked straight out of the kitchen and the waiting times are fantastic. The food is great and I would definitely recommend.

Visited Christmas week with a group of mates.Excellent food and service. The staff are very accommodating.The mild to hot scale on the menu is conservative so dont be afraid to try a little hotter than normal, obviously washed down with a few Cobra beers.

A party of 7 of us went, the staff were very friendly and attentive- especially in regards to dietary requirements. Everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal and definitely will be back again.(The menu also boasts over 13 vegan options!! fantastic)

Seriously have to agree - no idea why such negative reviews! fabulous wee restaurant, fantastic good and friendly accommodating staff - nothing too much trouble. We like authentic Indian food and have never had a bad meal and we have been going regularly for over 15 years. Ignore the bad reviews and judge for yourself!

Poor service... the place was very dirty... we were a family of 4 so they forced us to take 2 main courses which I find a little ridiculous... this restaurant is one of a kind and I wouldnt advise anyone to go

Oct 2016: I visited Belfast and ate at Archana three times because the food was so good. It was fragrant, spicy, tasty, and steaming hot. Portions are very generous. Really nice staff too. Highly recommended.

Best Indian and best value for money. I go every couple of weeks and get the same quality staff who are friendly and welcoming. The food matches and i have never left not satisfied. I would reccommend to everyone to give it a try.

One of the oldest Indian restaurants in Belfast, for a good reason. The food is great. Plenty of vegetarian options and everything is gluten free. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful Punjabi food, went to cinema & wanted something to eat after, walked up one side of the Dublin road and down the other reviewing all the menus. My partner is a bit fussy & suffers from IBS. We agreed on the Archana and delighted we did. Although it was after 21:00 we were warmly welcomed. I had a beer and one of the USUAL dishes (Turloughs special Karachi) and my partner had lamb bhuna although it wasnt on the menu. Staff couldnt have been more helpful. The food was delicious best Indian we have both had in Belfast.

Best Indian food I had in Belfast.We had Prawns Chettinad & Chicken Chilli Masala. Taste was authentic.A must try if you are searching for Indian foodWe are travelling around UK and Northern Ireland. And my mom and dad really had a tough time managing with food at most places we visited. This was a first place where they really loved the food.

Went for lunch and had their vegan thali. It was very tasty and only £5. They also have a massive selection of vegan curries on the main menu too. The service was 10/10, very friendly and helpful.

The last time we were in Belfast five years ago we discovered this gem of a restaurant. As we are born and grew up in Bradford we are well qualified to comment and Archana is well worth the journey. Every item was freshly made, plenty of meat and presented by excellent staff....we were welcomed as old friends. Thank you all....you deserve the five stars.😌

Great place to eat. We have had our Indian colleagues over to Belfast and have taken them to several indian restaurants. They always wanted to go back to Archana. Lunches are also superb too. You can get a meal in here for less money than a sandwich out of some shops. Great food and nice staff. Do yourself a favour and try it out. Highly recommended.

Just up for the weekend and was looking through different restaurants in the area. Found this place and read some of the reviews. Tried the book online got an email to confirm the booking arrived at correct time and sat down to enjoy a beautiful meal along with a bottle of wine. (total after 2 starters and 2 main courses with 1 side and 1 bottle of wine was extremely reasonable) 1st time visiting and visited on peoples reviews. (from managing a business myself I understand how reviews are extremely important for family run business. All in all I would deffo come back. Gr8 experience

I really liked the food at this Indian restaurant. The naan bread was not dry or anything and the sauces were absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable and left enough room for a tip.

Went for a quick bite, service was quite slow considering amount of customers in the small venue. Food however was up to scratch and very reasonably priced. worth a shot if you dont want to break the bank.

Five stars for the food and service. My only criticism is that the menu was greasy to the touch and almost put me off staying for dinner. Im Glad I did stay as the food was delicious. Guys, wipe the menus with warm soapy water, it will keep fussy diners like me happy!

Excellent service, pleasant surroundings and generous portions of delicious & well presented food . We were in the more spacious upstairs dining area and had a lovely evening with friends. Honestly cant fault it, and will definitely be back.

Actually cant believe some of the reviews of Archana on here. It is truely one of the best restaurants in Belfast. The food is top notch and the service is good. It has a large vegetarian and vegan menu, but for me the lamb dishes are sensational. Dont believe the negative reviews, Im not sure what their angle is.

We went here because Nu Delhi was closed and werent disappointed. The host was very pleasant and the food excellent and bursting with flavour.

Just went for dinner to this place .. a first time experience.. a bad one.. with hardly two tables occupied in a dingy restaurant.. we were given a table of 4 .. 2 adults 2 kids.. ordered a dal makhani, 2 plates chicken tikka and 3 portions of rice of course with one shot of whisky.. waiter says “not allowed” have to order 2 main courses .. when asked y this policy he says “table of 4 needs to order 2 main courses minimum no matter what else u order!! So we ordered an okra dish!! Have never heard this one before!! To top it all the food was not even nice.. tasteless and mostly decorated with just too many onions and tomatoes, chicken tikka was coloured tasteless chicken..imagine if I walked in ordered a beer and left.. maybe “not allowed” one person occupying one table has to order 1 “MAIN COURSE” ???? Ridiculous.. pls don’t be fooled by the awards and reviews!!!
