This place is amazing. I had Eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was one of the best I have ever had. The ingredients were perfect and the home cooked ham was so tender, it was falling off my fork. The sauce was also perfect.Thank you to all the friendly staff. The ambience here is perfect for breakfast and I would certainly recommend Cinnamon to anyone who likes quality food and friendly atmosphere.
During the week, Cinnamon is a great place with great service but they become phenomenal on the weekend for brunch. Their sizzling prawn with chorizo dish is absolutely phenomenal. Pair it with a side of roasted potatoes and it may be the only meal you can eat for the day, but you will not regret it! I would suggest the larger portion and adding in the potatoes to soak up all that amazing in the sizzling platter. Youre welcome!
I got the butter chicken and thought it was weird that it wasnt breaded but then I took a bite and it was so good I forgot all about that. Absolutely delicious; Ive been thinking up excuses to go back there next week.
Ate in Ranelagh branch yesterday - they were very efficient dealing with Covid requirements, service was brilliant and food was delicious - great to see them back open for indoor dining and it being done really well.
Nice food good service helpful staff
An OK place. The service was great and their approach professional-no complaints on that front. The food, while well-presented, didnt wow, however. I was a bit underwhelmed with the taste of the sea bass, which possibly stayed in the frying pan a few minutes too long, (?), making the overall dish miss its potential. Not bad, but there is definitely room for improvement.
For all the staff a lack and disjoint service. Food looked lonely on the plate. The flies died in the vinegar bottle. Pricey for what you get
Nice place for a quiet coffee.
First time we were down they forgot one of the dishes. After waiting 20min they brought the wrong fish. Without checking what we actually ordered, they asked us to wait wile they replaced it. The second dish was wrong again.... we got fed up and left. They made up for it by not charging us for the other food.Second time we were down, we were held at the door for about 15min while 8 tables were free... no idea what happend there. Then the food was extremely late, to the point we wanted to leave. Had to ask 3 times for my coffee. 15 min later it arrived.Food is great, service...slow, poorIf it wasnt for the great food it would have been 1*...
Lovely food, great service and staff, BUT, their takeaway prices are very high. Paid €11 for a small breakfast bap. (No tea or coffee included in that price)
Cant fault the food or the service. Very tasty korma and the waiters were very pleasant however the decor left a lot to be desired to say the least, place is in a bit of a state and for the price they charge for the food it just doesnt seem right. Could do with a new design and new menu but food was nice.
Excellent, best and biggest Coronation Chicken Sandwich Ive ever had
Busy place, so be sure to make a reso or expect a bit of a wait. Our service was good and so was the food. My only complaint was that the French toast I ordered was very small for €8.50. An extra slice or bigger bread would have been nice. Otherwise AOK!
First time back in cafe. Breakfast, goats cheese.basil and spinach omelet. Great welcome, extremely vivid compliant. Perfect.
The restaurant still open for take away with all measures against covid. Fresh pancakes, different bakerys, Coronation chicken or a simple toast. Support the local business.
Poor service, place looked messy
Bread was stale. I had coronation chicken. The portion was tiny. All 3 of us gave it the thumbs down
Amazing scones
Worst breakfast in a long time. Big cinnamon fan but the lockdown options are dire, wont be going back for a long time.Got the corronation chicken sandwich. Came out out cold and untoasted. Couldnt eat it. I tried. Also pancakes with Berry compote... expect a small plastic tub of compote(like jam for a scone size) and dry pancakes. Had to wait until we were home to eat this with something because this Berry proportion is tiny.We had to ask for plastic cutlery(original plan was park) and the cutlery is the type you would get at 4am off a take away wagon and breaks when you use it for anything. The pastries were nice but the coffee was ash. The price for pancakes were €11 or €11.50 ... you get 3... and the tiny tub of compote... customer service bad. Hope you guys change this up. Wont be back anytime soon.
I visited this location ~2 weeks ago. Great staff and ambience. They had setup everything quite well in accordance with the Covid-19 restrictions. The only reason I didnt give a full 5 here is because the Hummus/Veggie wrap was slightly mediocre. However, this doesnt mean I will not visit the place again. Highly recommended though!
We had an excellent experience this afternoon in Cinnamon Ranelagh. We shared an assortment of dishes which were delicious but it was the service we received from our server, Elsa, that made the whole experience so memorable. She is a credit to the business and we will definitely be returning.
Its unfair to review a place when only outdoor dining is allowed but Ill just say that this was the most Ive ever been charged for a coffee and a croissant.
Great place for a big lunch as the burgers are lovely and a fair price however the build your own fry is absolute robbery. Each component is 3 euro each, e.g. you will only get 2 sausages for 3 euro
Nice food and coffee. A little pricey. The might want to consider removing another table or two to keep social distancing in place.
Food - The food here was really very tasty and couldnt fault it at all.Price - a little on the more pricey side but not too bad.Service - the staff where friendly.Ambience - a nice feel to the place.Overall experience a nice experience and would definitely go back.
Great coffee
The food was good, reasonably priced and the kids eat for free. Some good selection of wines as well. The staff was friendly, just a bit slow sometimes.
I went for brunch recently and the food was amazing! One of the waitresses, Lorna, made dolphin noises when she dropped us down our order. It made me feel like I was in the Caribbean, can’t wait to go back!
I’d like to give this place 5 stars because the food is pretty good but overall it has some drawbacks. Can be a really long wait for food sometimes. That’s the biggest negative. Also the layout can feel a bit awkward and the staff are not always the friendliest.So... food is good. Atmosphere is decent but sometimes a bit stuffy.
Have been there for a couple of times and I love the food, they have differente options for breakfast and drinks. The environment and design are lovely and the waitresses are really good and helpful. If going for brunch with a large group, its better to call and make a reservation, the place tends to be full over the weekend.
The vegan gluten free burger is truly gorgeous !- The brioche is surprisingly good : nice and fluffy.- The steak and its vegan cheese is super tasty (not dry at all)- The juices from green beards are super nice too (cold pressed)
Great cafe with lovely friendly staff
Very nice coffee and scone
Great soup of the day .
Great food, coffee and service. We went for a Sunday Brunch and it was great! Very busy, but no drop in standards because of that
One of the best places to have breakfast/brunch in dublin! The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable.
Nice place inside.. Lots of room but cozy.. Friendly staff and good food and coffee
Very Good Food. Loved the banana bread. Friendly Staff. All in all, it was a NOICE experience.
Excellent place, staff is very kind and attentions. Food is superb, no faults. Looking forward to come back to try different goodies.
Food was fantastic and staff are very friendly would recommend to go here
Nice cafe restaurant. Food is OK. Brunch is a bit weak but still fine. Could do with including some fresh fruit along with their pancakes. Nice decor. Staff can be a bit hit am me miss but mostly OK.
The tables were too close together for my liking. It was a bit cramped. Food was good enough. There was water falling from above the entrance so I had to duck between the drips on arrival and departure. Overall, everything was just ok. Ive had better experiences at Cinnamon than today.
It was an excellent place to have a family get together. Good food, including for our vegetarian. Good menu. Lovely friendly service even on a Tuesday evening. Ranelagh is still difficult for parking.
The service and the place is very nice! The food is also great. Would recommend it without a doubt
Great eggs and really freindly staff❤
We visited Cinnamon on Saturday evening, the food was fantastic, so was the service. Every little thing was spot on, well done guys and thank you.
Lovely food great staff good value
Very blend place - the interior is cute but the food is below average. The juices tasted really bad and mixed with water and the food was just eatable. There’s much better brunch places in the city. Would not recommend this one.
Nice restaurant. Lovely food. Nice staff. Interesting decor. Parking on street so you need coins or phone parking. Worth visit.
This place has an amazing Mocha! They also have an amazing everything else as well.Funny story. New Years night at a bit after midnight my wife and I who stayed in watching movies that evening decided to walk down to get a hot chocolate. We ended up seeing all these people dressed up outside and inside of Cinnamon. We walked in and waited for a moment until we realized that it was a private event. Haha. We were told politely that we were going to have to leave. We laughed and explained that we were only there for a take away hot chocolate. They laughed as well and ended up making them for us. That was class! They absolutely did not have to do that, much appreciated that they did though. We have had the same friendly experience every time we have eaten here. Try it out!
I am a neighbor in Ranelagh your alarm has gone off 10 times overnight, please check your security system. I havent been able to sleep at all, Im a nurse and I wake up at 6;30 am. Thank you.
The best dishes, amazing food
Top class. Beautiful layout and decor. The menu was wide ranging and contemporary. Great coffee.
Very tasty breakfast, good selection on the menu. The eggs Benedict was super. Good atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Reasonably priced.
I’ve been here a couple of times now and it has been consistently good. Very friendly staff and lovely food. Breakfast is especially great! Would definitely recommend.
Lovely food great atmosphere and great selection of dishes. Best eggs benedick around.
Fantastic place for lunch, early birds or dinner. Love how they are a child friendly place and offer children free food. This just makes it top of mind when the family has to go out for an evening!
I was enjoying brunch until about 12 mums with 12 buggies arrived. I had my chair hit a number of times while a Mum tried to rock crying baby to sleep. Im a grandmother and love children, but there were too many buggies. Also my daughter ordered poached eggs and got scrambled. We brunch once a week and though the food was good wont be back.
Overall a average experience in Cinnamon. The food was very good, compliments to chef and kitchen team!Service however was lacking, ultimately quite poor.Having been seated at 4:10pm, it took the staff until 4:25pm to ask if we were ready to order food rather than a drink to start.Within this 15 minute wait, we began to take note of the environment, with atleast 6 staff on, chatting amongst themselves, on their phones and what looked like dividing tips. We barely saw staff checking in on their customers, many empty plates on tables and just overall lack of care of duty.We received our food (which again is not spoiled by the experience as it was very good) we were not asked if everything was ok not did we require anything else. The lady that sat us, looked like she could do with a smile and hug as it was valentines day and was perhaps let down. The sever with the Man Bun (apologies never got his name) was actually really nice and seemed like a hard worker. On his feet a lot.As a current employee in the hospitality industry, I found this service disappointing to say the least. To reiterate, we are not professionals that go around rating cafes, but couldnt help not giving feed back. We actually really like Cinnamon, but feel to benefit others dining experiences these minor issues should be addressed.
Really let down by this place. Will never be back. I was served by Jack, who had a terrible attitude, and also muttered many comments about my weight, which I am aware of myself as it is medical. I do not need a little boy insulting me. Coffee was cold too and food not great. Didn’t let a manager know, as I could see he was very friendly with Jack and was worried the manager would do the same to me. Will never set foot in the place and I urge others not to either! Terribly upset by this whole experience.
Fantastic! Emazing food!
Went during Friday lunch and it was pretty busy. Lots of people including mommies with buggies ( nice to see that). Servers were polite. Unfortunately, Caesar salad felt overpriced and empty. Ive ordered no bacon plus chicken for 15 EUR. My companions were quite happy with theirs choices. No booking necessary during lunch hour.
Breakfast is so so. Carton orange juice for 3.5 euro. really?
Food was great. Like this place. Recommend visit
Dishes presented well on plate and very good. Had to ask for wine list. Service not attentive enough.
A nice place for casual coffee and dessert after dinner as well as great weekend brunch. They have really nice Apple and berry crumble. Egg royal is my favorite brunch. Warm breakfast salad is also a delicious choice. Staff can be forgetful sometimes but friendly.
It was nice, cant complain. Nice waiting staff very attentive
Trendy D6 resto for local Bugaboo-pushing yummy mummies and rugby dads. Coffee and pastries not great. Lunch portions huge. Good fries. I had the BLT, it was delicious.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.
Ripped off!!!Worst Super Food Salad EVER! I was charged €18.50 for a salad that tasteless and got nothing to be called Super Food in it except the Avocado which I pay Extra €3 for.The salad itself were just green leafy and French beans with barely any dressing on, That’s it. A waiting staff asked if I want chicken with it so I said yes , this is €3 extra for 4 small cubes of cold chicken. My friend however got a massive side chicken wing that were great. This place is now just trading on the name and location.Disappointing!!!
Very tasty mains and desserts, for reasonable price. Good for groups, friendly for families. Nice decor without being pretentious. Worth the trip to Ranelagh if you are anywhere around the city.
Nice atmosphere at reasonable prices
Today I had the worst restaurant experience ever. I you enjoy your food coming out when you order it and non confrontational staff, this is not the restaurant for you.
Bit pricy as they charge you for every single thing you get extra like toast. A side of chips is nearly €5 and its a relatively small portion. Other than that the food is good, the staff very friendly and the ambience is ver nice.
Solid enough spot for brunch or lunch in ranelagh. Prices are just ok for what you get as with many of the lunch meals you dont get chips or a side with them. Service can be a little off at times. When your here for work lunch you want speedy service so your not clock watching and sometimes here the staff can be a little slow
Lovely restaurant with very tasty selection of food. The service was quick and polite
Went to this particular branch with my family. Parents had steak and eggs while I had fish and chips. Steak & eggs presentation left a lot to be desired, the guacamole on top gave the impression that someone had already eaten the meal. The skillets that were used as serving dishes did look trendy, however they were impossible to eat from. Steak itself was excellent but the eggs came scrambled when poached were ordered and the potatoes were undercooked. Fish and chips was alright, nothing extraordinary but wouldnt mind ordering again. Coffees were delicious, but they werent our main focus during the meal.Service was extremely poor. Our hostess was doing her best, running around during the brunch rush but this meant she was absent and didnt seem like she was giving anyone her full attention. Not her fault in the slightest but it set the tone for the meal. Our waiter, on the other hand, wrote down our orders wrong, which we could have excused, if not for the fact that when we went to pay, we got our receipt as €51.40. Using debit, the statement we got printed said €64.57, which is €13.17 of a tip we neither were informed of or consented to. Thats a 25% tip for an abysmal experience. Will not return again. Take care when paying with card unless you want to have your waiter decide how much tip he deserves.
The food and service were equally fabulous! The French Toast is out of this world! Its a must must must to dine at Cinnamon, especially for brunch.
Cozy place. Had one of the most delicious hot chocs at this place. Do not miss it :)
Nice food and classy place. Great for a date or a brunch with friends.
Quite a nice local restaurant. Coffee is good. Sadly the meat portion served with the salad was tiny even thought they charged 3 euros extra for it!
