The food was delicious, we had a party of 8 on a Wednesday night , the restaurant was busy and lively, service was good and the dishes we choice were tasty hot and and vdy well presented. Great place to go when you are in Bournemouth.

Lovely food but after waiting over an hour for our (£60+) 4 person order, it arrived missing 2 main meals. Not sure how this happened as the order receipt (with items) was stapled to the bag, it just needed to be double checked!Calls to the restaurant were not answered and attempts to arrange a redelivery through Deliveroo were futile as they insisted on requesting a refund for the cost.Not very helpful when were sat here hungry at 9 oclock at night.

Amazing food and extremely attentive service on their 2nd night after reopening the restaurant post covid.Everything was presented beautifully and flavours on the new menu definitely exceeded expectations.Thank you for a fab evening!! Highly recommended any Koh Thai restaurant.

Arrived on a fairy busy Saturday evening. Server showed us the table and then took our order. Drinks arrived straight away, following by very tasty starters and then delicious main courses. Food worth the price, cheerful atmosphere, background music a little bit loud, but will give 5 stars. Happy to return and recommend it! 😃 Thank you! 🤗

We came here last night and as usual had a really great meal the tapas is made to perfection, thanks to the chefs in the kitchen,also a big thanks to Amber our waitress on this occasion a true ambassador for Koh Noi. Does this restaurant hold a booking for an allocated time eg 15 mins in line with other restaurants in the area?We were running 10 minutes late for a table booked for 19.45 We kept ringing the restaurant from 19.30 to inform them with no reply. Upon arrival we were curtly told they hadn’t expected us to turn up and the table had been given up to another family. No apology. We waited a while to be seated and the food arrived very late. Food was delicious however.Would be helpful to have a policy about the number of minutes delay the restaurant are prepared to honour a booking and/ or a gentle apology from the waiting staff member.

Fantastic little Thai restaurant and great food even though unlike most Thai restaurants staff were NOT THAI.

Food was lovely. Service was a little slow, but understandable as they were busy. Upset when told we couldnt have a cocktail at the end of the meal as they needed our table back,even though we still had 35 minutes left on our booking. When we mentioned this to the waiter he apologised but said drinks would take too long as the bar was busy. Sad ending to my 50th birthday meal.

Great food, but service was quite poor. Delivered the bill without even asking or saying anything ... and overcharged. Sorted it... but still was a bit of a damper on the evening.

I did order takeaway last night and when I went home and I prepared to eat I realised that 1 of the dishes was missing. I try to call them but no one picks up the phone it was 9:30 pm.

Good Tai tapas also great cocktails. Nice service and staff. Can feel like your being rushed through when all the food turns up at once. (the new normal). Hope they return to a more leisurely approach when things open up.

Terrible table service. One of our party was served up battered squid made with normal gluten batter only to bite into it and realise. This was despite stating her allergy on the online booking as well as phoning the restaurant a few days before to ensure they were aware. Two of the mains (penang prawn curry) arrived at the table virtually cold so we sent it back and we were sent a replacement but everyone else had finished apart from the gluten free main dish which arrived far later than the other mains. They did give us a bottle of bubbly but the ones whos food wasnt right werent drinking alcohol. No one asked if our food was ok or offered any water to the table. My prawn curry only had about 4 prawns in the whole dish. It tasted ok but the portion was tiny. Overall, not impressed.

The food is absolutely delicious and the cocktails too. The only thing that was missing was some lovely Thai music playing. The music that was played didnt fit the style of restaurant. Apart from that it was a lovely experience. Id definitely go back again for the food.

Regulars before lockdown, one of our favourite restaurants. Returned for the first time in a while yesterday and was disappointed.

Not great. Went a few months ago.Made an evening reservation. We checked last sitting - told it was 9pm. Manager was not happy with us (2 people) when we arrived at 8.45pm. The order was taken very quickly, with alot of huffing and puffing and explanations that the kitchen was closing.The food arrived, equally quickly...and cold. As it is was simply re-headed. Then the music was suddenly turned up..very loudly. We had to ask for it to be turned down. It was clear they did Not want us there and made sure we knew about it. Very expensive for cold food and bad service.Was contacted by the management after this review. She was Fair, Decent and conscientious. Offered to fix it - and I appreciate this. Will go back to try again.Update:Went back - Much better. Staff were lovely. Food was Good. Appreciated their effort to fix any complaints we had previously by showing goodwill. Appreciated.

Rice was lukewarm and not jasmine rice as it said on the menu, Tom yum soup was the most disappointing, nothing like authentic, only the service was good, otherwise only 1 star

We are regular customers of Koh Thai and the food normally is decent, however the customer service is terrible!!! My partners dish was tasteless and not good at all, when we called to complain no answer on the phone for 20 mins so we went back to the restaurant. When we complained we were talked down too and told it is is as described on the menu and it wouldnt be replaced without being charged again! Awful arrogant customer service, we left the returned (paid for food) and left, we will not be going back here again. Very DissappointedLois from Koh Thai was excellent to resolve this for us and the food was absolutely superb and service back to what I would expect from Koh Thai. The Pad Thai is amazing, we will be back !! :)

Great food. Made a large order and everything was served piping hot with great flavour. Drinks options were above average and we enjoyed ours. Great service. Will return here in the future.

Horrible time last summer! Male manager was rude, Food was cold and very expensive for what it was. Staff wanted to leave early that night so they started banging chairs, table and increased the music volume to an silly level. Really unhappy with spending £80 for 2 x people and we came away feeling annoyed, and still hungry! I did complain at the time and was told i would be contacted...thats over 6 x months ago. Still waiting!

Appreciate that everyone is struggling to cope with the continually changing covid rules. However, we were coming to Poole for a special occasion and our Saturday night reservation was cancelled Friday afternoon as the restaurant now expects not to open again until Wednesday. Disappointed as many restaurants were already full and was difficult to find an alternative ☹️

You cannot book a table, so we turned up one July evening and were lucky that there were a few tables available. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, but all the staff are very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious.There was a good turn around of tables during the evening, so maybe worth waiting if it is full and you have the time.

Came to sandbanks for a two night stay and found Koh Noi for an evening meal. The staff our very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Ordered a fried beef starter which was fab, the beef was so tender and the batter really crispy. For main dish I got jungle curry which is a tradition spicy/HOT Thai dish and I got to say it was one of the BEST Ive Tried so far. I would come back to sandbanks just for that main dish. 👍 😊 10/10.!!

Really quick service. Great food. A bit pricey but some of the offers are good. Would recommend going at the very end of the lunch period - just before the kitchen has a break at 3 oclock before dinner. This allowed for a very quick service.

Great to stumble into a local restaurant on a Wednesday night to find it buzzing with people! Welcoming staff and fantastic food. Every dish exceeding expectations. Even simple staples, like prawn toast were really special. Definitely worth a visit if in Sandbanks or around.

I was asked to leave the restaurant when they found out that I was celiac because they couldnt risk me eating there. I would understand this more if they didnt have gluten free options across their menu.The tables when we sat down werent wiped down despite their only being one table of customers in there and plenty of staff.

Lovely food; fast, piping hot, good portions (even tapas size) and very tasty. Staff were lovely and super friendly. First visit and will definitely be visiting again.

Koh Noi of the year! This is the one, top staff, top food, great value, really tasty and nice vibe in there. Cant speak highly enough of the food, its really authentic, been to thailand and they def have a sense of authenticity plus some nice twists on the cuisine. The new lunch menu is sweet

We ate here Sat 21st November, excellent experience and highly recommended. They do not take bookings here because it is a small restaurant as has more of a bar type vibe. If wanting to eat on a Saturday I would highly recommend getting there before 6:30pm or booking a table at the larger Koh in Bournemouth. The food here was outstanding and actually not bad value (we had seven dishes in total which was plenty), just make sure you order starters and mains separately as theres not much space on the tables. The ambience was excellent and upbeat and just what we were after, but I wouldnt go here for a romantic date. Cocktails were excellent too! Would not at all hesitate to recommend this place.

Not authentic Thai food, but a great modern twist.Was absolutely rammed when we went. Food and drinks took a very long time. Seemed very under staffed and the staff on duty were doing their best in a hurry.One dish got dropped on someones lapOne order was missing. Eventually all sorted, but really looked under staffed and stressful.

Good food, well priced, good selection of interesting foods. However it is also a bar so for a restaurant it is really loud, up to a point where it gets uncomfortable sitting inside trying to talk casually to each other.

Great, tasty thai food and friendly service.They dont take bookings, but no one seemed to wait long at the bar before being seated when we visited on a busy Friday night.We parked on a residential street around the back, there didnt seem to be any parking restrictions, just make sure you dont block a drive way.There wasnt a bum note in any of the dishes we had, but the dim sum, squid and Penang curry were particularly good.The wife enjoyed the cocktails and there 2as the ubiquitous gin selection too.The price was fair as well; recommended 👍

Great food, nice decor and lovely staff. This is a tapas bar, and so the portions are small, but the prices are the same as youd expect to pay for a full portion. But that being said, the foods worth the cost, and lots of people think so, because it is always packed!

We went on a Friday night at 6:30pm and it was so busy, the bar was jam packed with people waiting for a table! The bar staff were very friendly though, as were the waiting staff. We only had to wait for 30 mins ish for a table and our food arrived quickly. The menu is just the tapas options, not the whole menu that the other Koh Thai restaurants have. This was fine with us though and the food was fantastic, will definitely be going back to try more off the menu!
