Great coffee as you would expect from Nero even if the shop is very compact compared to those in London.If you have a Seagull phobia best not eat your food in this little square as you are likely to get irritated by them.

Its your classic Nero, good coffee, nice selection of cakes. There are two levels, the first with the counter with seats to the side and the second is downstairs, that is also where you will find the toilets. Only saw one member of staff when I was there, not sure what its like when it gets busy. Nice central location.

Im really disappointed with the service this morning i walked in to get my favourite nero latte and the lady who served me did not cleaned the coffee hood and the coffee doesnt tastes like latte but anything else i asked her why didnt you clean it before starting to make the new coffee and she replied we dont clean it so she made a coffee for someone and used the old one for new customers..if you are not happy with your job let someone who is happy to serve quality coffee...

Small inside & small outside seating but nice, out of direct sun & central but not too busy.

Coffee was good but toilet facilities are poor & dated. Stairs to toilets are very steep.

Always love the hot chocolate here and staff are lovely BUT today it was so dirty, litter on the floor and tables dirty and uncleaed. Not busy, a let down

Not very friendly. V..e..r..y s..l..o..w service. Had to ask for forks, napkins and a tray, in turn. Took 10 mins to be served. Several people in the queue gave up and left.

Location was ok, coffee and sausage bap were of the usual good standard but the building looked a bit tired and because of that didnt feel really clean.

Nice and clean. Good social distancing before lockdown. They have changed their coffee blend and it is less bitter. Chocolate and salted caramel vegan cheesecake was delicious.

I would say I like coffee Nero as they provide you with a very tasty coffee and snacks.The staff are very friendly and polite. You can choose to have the coffee inside, outside or take away. They have a scheme with free coffee after you bought around 10 coffes.I do reccomend for you to try.

Terrible, no social distancing. People in there with no masks. They wont accept cash. The coffee was cold, never going there again. Terrible. Had to give 1 star to post review, they dont deserve any stars!

Really not worth it. Bought a sandwich for about £5.50 looked a decent size but was hard to see fully, they then asked me if I wanted it hot because the bread was not at all fresh which is fine to me but not brilliant for an already expensive sandwich. So they warmed it up and gave it to me, turned out it was absolutely tiny and they completely burnt one half of it.

Had coffees here today.....really good nice and hot and just as we liked it. Barista was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the toilets were filthy, there is no way they had been cleaned for days despite the sheet being signed the day before. Will never go back to this branch.

My husband and I go to Caffè Nero at least once a week and always enjoy our coffee there even when we visit other towns and cities we seek out Nero because its the best place to go for coffee and a snack. Five stars nothing but the best they also cater for vegans such as our daughter so she can enjoy her favourite hot and cold beverages.

The dirtiest Nero coffee shop Ive ever been! Everywhere is full of spiders nets. Doors are so dirty you dont want to touch it. There are bread crumbs at sitting places. The table was also too dirty, when I wiped it with my babys wet wipes, the wipe became very dirty because of the dust and dirty surface.I felt bad for having my coffee there after seeing all the dirt there 😖

I think Caffe Nero is my favourite chain here, really enjoy the dark roasted flavour. This shop is over two levels, ground floor having the serving bar and a single row of tables around it, so youll be sat next to people standing in line. They have a quieter seating area downstairs accessed by narrow stairs only. The loos are also down here.

Pretty decent coffee but normally pretty slow on the morning.

We visited the cafe this afternoon. The staff were under pressure so we were patient. A customer complained that there was loo paper in the mens loo and was politely told the matter would be dealt with, as staff member was serving another customer . The first customer got rather angry and raised his voice in front of other waiting customers. Can I say the staff were very calm and patient, and then re-stocked the means loo...Really want to thank the staff at the time for coping under pressure, perhaps more staff need to be recruited or drafted in from other branches??

From recent experience of visiting this cafe on a quiet Wednesday morning I found the people that work in this cafe very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The manageress only raises a smile with her regular customers. As someone who lives in bath I would say there are much better cafes to visit than this one that are very close by.

I visited this cafe on 3rd December 2018 and was extremely disappointed. Not up to the usual standard of other branches I have visited. The tables were all dirty and covered with dirty crockery. When I asked for the table to be cleared the abrupt response from the waitress was No, you have to clear it yourself. As there was nowhere to move the dirty cups and plates to, we had to make room as best we could for our own. The toilet floor was also strewn with empty toilet rolls and paper. The toilet roll holder was broken. Not a good experience.

Great views from the massive windows on the ground floor. Lovely ambience in the basement with comfey seats and relaxed atmosphere. Very attentive service.

I do enjoy a coffee here. As usual the coffee and service are top notch. Nice and central, but it always seems busy. Looks a bit small from the outside regarding seating, but there is also room downstairs.

I just love Nero, sofas, music, lightings, cosy and intimate, great place to do some work, have a date or just escape from city noise

Sadly staff uninterested in customers,busy talking together while serving, uninterested if I wanted anything other than my coffee. Actually the cakes looked good and I didn’t get the opportunity to order. I paid but no thank you, no acknowledgment that the transaction was complete. Poor today.

Went this afternoon with two friends - not exactly clean. We had pot of tea for two - very small tepot with one teabag - would not recommend and will not be going there again.

Went for a coffee my first vist to caffe nero staff was so helpful and friendly . it was raining out and they let us take our dog in well worth a visit for a nice coffee and friendly staff

I had a good experience here, the seating area downstairs is comfortable and warm on a chilly day. The staff are friendly and the coffee is as youd expect.

Upstairs its one of Baths busiest cafes, but downstairs is a quiet space for getting things done.
