My husband turned up there with my daughter who had just had an accident (head split) she was dizzy with quite a bit of blood loss, these people turned her away and said they were only able to offer covid tests!! What kind of urgent care do you call this?? Unbelievable!!!

The Drs actually care and ensure they give you a proper consultation. I appreciate it so much cause I had just spent the past 8 years at a clinic where the Drs dont even make eye contact with you or remember your name even though you have seen them multiple times over an 8 year period. I trust white cross Drs and am very grateful for the awesome service, good Drs make all the difference.

Dont even bother. There was no one else in the waiting room when I arrived with my sick baby and we still waited 45 minutes to see a nurse and then another 20 minutes to see a doctor. The doctor barely looked at my daughter before sending us away. There is not enough doctors or maybe they are constantly on a break, nobody knows because there is no information provided. They tell you they take patient in the order they arrive but its not true.

Nurse is not that friendly. Seems like shes having a bad day. Not even with kids shes totally not friendly at all. Service is very slow! Lucky the lady doctor is very nice to my son which i gave the credits to her. Thats why i gave atleast 3 stars!

Went for a covid swab and waited for an hour (while sick and miserable) before someone finally informed me that they dont do after hours Covid swabs. Which is fine, but key information that should be communicated up front not after an hour of pointless sitting around painful plastic chairs in a cold waiting room.

Poor reception! Don’t pick the phones up ever when trying to book in.(nearly every time we call)Constantly getting information wrong for our family. Names , DOB’s, gender etc. (multiple times)have had to supply birth certificate 3 times for one child as they keep losing the information!Doctors are great but don’t expect to be happy with this service

Waited 3.5 hours for my 10 month old baby to be seen by a doctor - it was actually ridiculous.The nurses / staff moved at such a glacial pace, they also lacked warmth, probably because it looked like they were just so over worked. There were not enough doctors either so it took forever.When we finally got to see a doctor, you could tell he was just wanting to rush us off, he was also quite rough with my baby during a throat examination and my boy just cried so intensely.Would never ever go back to this medical centre again.

You will wait over three hours easily for a basic appointment, this is not an exaggeration. They simply do not have enough doctors. Do not go here unless absolutely necessary. The staff themselves are good when you can actually see them.

White Cross Lunn Ave have been our doctors since we arrived in New Zealand 5 years ago. I find them to be wonderful people and the kindest and most helpful doctors, nurses and receptionists that Ive have had the pleasure to know. They have supported my children and my family in every way possible throughout the time we have been going there. Yes, if you havent got an appointment then the wait could be a while, but they are busy people. The receptionists are lovely and are always willing to make an appointment that is convenient for us if we need one. So I am happy to give them a 5 star review and to thank them for the good work they are doing. Thank you.

Just dont injure yourself on a Monday. I hear its not so bad on other days of the week but horrendous wait today. Woman in reception who couldnt breathe had to wait ages before being seen. Really distressing to watch. Thank goodness my daughter only had a sprained wrist.

I went to see the doctor last evening around 6pm-6.30pm. When I entered to the place, the lady receptionist has shouted like she saw a murderer. I really couldnt understand what she asked so I apologies, then she was starting to talk to her self on her own language. Thats the 1st impression I got when I entered. she is not at all kind, no sense of humor and acting like a mad lady. I think she is suitable for a post of jailer in the jail rather than a medical receptionist. The male receptionist was floating in another fairy world. It was terrible experience and dont recommend any one to visit this place.

Had good experience at White Cross today. Dr Freddy listened to my concerns thoroughly and felt I wasnt rushed at all during the consult. Plus the receptionist lady is friendly all the time!

Terrible. Required a certificate to travel 96hrs before flight and after double checking that tests were processed at weekends, went in to have our test. Receptionist then says tests ARENT done or processed at weekends and we could ring any other White Cross and they would say the same... After panicking that we wouldnt be able to have a test in time for our flight we called White Cross New Lynn. They informed us that what we were told here was wrong, so we went and had the test there instead and got the results on Sunday.

Getting to them over the phone is next to impossible ; there are two extensions (one for the receptionist and the other for the nurse) ; the Receptionist never picks up the phone ; the extension for the nurse always goes to the voice mail ; no one calls back and no reply to email.

Visited late afternoon as a Walk in because I needed an urgent medical certificate so my son could return to daycare after an illness.The receptionists were very friendly and updated me with wait times between nurse and doctor etc so I could pop out and get my son some dinner.The nurse was very friendly and so good dealing with my little munckin. The doctor was well prepared, he had the certificate printed ready to hand to me once he had given my son the all clear.

Every visit there deserve 0 starEven after so many complaints and bad feedback, they dont try to improve anything here. Changing GP now.-----------They were worst in the past, improved a bit 4-5 months back and again their service is terrible.... Recepnist booked my gp appointment but when i reached theybare clueless until i show them call history and gave more detail... But they were helpless and ask me to wait for long time.. Their nurses are good but reception is 1 star.. VERY EXPENSIVE AND ALWAYS ALWAYS SHORT OF DOCTORS WHEN YOU COMPARE TO OTHER CLINICS

I went this morning with a very sore throat. Was seen quickly, the Dr was thorough (including ringing the ENT service at Auckland hospital for further consultation), provided me with advice and a prescription. The cost is high but all after hours places are. Will definitely use again.

Went in Sunday evening, had to wait for about an hour. When you are unwell, hard, cold plastic chairs are not kind to you, but I managed to wait. You will see the nurse first, then she judges how urgent doctor needs to see you. You will be told how many people on the queue. The receptionist & nurse are nice, and Doctor (Dr.Zahir Alhilali) was very compassionate & kind. He was very nice. I was ended up being sent to the hospital, but he wrote a referral letter, so I could go streight in at the hospital.

Great example of a disorganised place. I feel sorry for the patients who go there. I guess they dont have any other choice. I went there once to get a flu shot. Waited 3 quarters of an hour without any response from the reception or the nurse. I had even called before to book an appointment so that Id avoid long wait. However people working there dont seem to be bothered about other peoples time. Will never go there again!!!!!

Absolutely horrified at the appointment I had today with doctor Mathew Siu. Ive had constant pain in my ear for months now, was basically told he doesnt know what is wrong and tried to shift me off after 5-10minutes. Literally checked my ear for 10seconds said theres nothing wrong WHEN THERE CLEARLY IS - IM IN PAIN! He said theres no point in giving pain medication, no ear drops, said nothing can help me. PATHETIC DOCTOR! $92 for that?!!!!

Simply terrible.Two wrong diagnosis in a month time. My 14 month old baby was given eyes drop for a conjunctivitis she DID NOT HAVE (confirmed by another doctor), and another time she was diagnosed with an infection (they didnt even what kind of infection!) and prescribed antibiotics - her lump was hormonal!!!! (Confirmed by another doctor)Doctors keep checking on google, I mean, come on! I can do that from home.Awful waiting times, and the walls in the reception area are disgusting. I dont even want to think about the kids toys.Avoid this place if you can!!!

Everyone here, from the nurses, and doctors to the receptionists, are always very kind and eager to help. No injury or problem is too big, very handy that they have an Xray department and a pharmacy in the same building as the clinic!

Absolute dreadful experience, wildly lacking professionalism combined with an opportunistic pricing structure I can only compare to payday loan providers. I was charged $115 for a 5 minute assessment during normal business hours. Doctor was unhelpful and showed no interest in finding a solution. Save your money and choose someone with a better level of knowledge & service.

We took our 9 month old boy due to his allergie reaction. Waited 1.10 see the nurses. Then we have waited anothe 2.5hours see doctor. Baby was really uncomfortable and crying but nurses are having really good time all 3 of them sitting together laughing and enjoy their time nothing much difference from the doctors as well

I have been with White Cross Lunn Ave since it opened. After a series of bad experiences, I now have had the worst! I made an appointment to see my GP to find they had resigned more than 4 months ago and I wasnt notified.I had my appointment with a locum Doctor for a repeat script and a medical issue. A prescription was given for Medical issue but not the repeat prescription (no issue, assume genuine mistake). On Monday I called up to ask for the forgotten prescription repeat and was advised firstly that another appointment may be required but then that the Accident and Medical Centre will have no qualified doctors (not even a Locum) on staff for the next two days so it will have to wait to Thursday (nearly a week later). I asked if anyone can just print the repeat prescription and they will look into it and there are clearly notes on my file from Fridays consultation. I chose to find another Family GP for future. Am also concerned that no doctors at all on site for 2 days in an Accident and Medical clinic , yet they remain open(?).

Enrolled, waited 1 1/2 hours in a waiting room of only 4 people. Only 2 doctors were working! Finally the Doctor saw me for all of 3 minutes. Was told to pay $90 back at Reception!!!!! Ahhh what??! Apparently it takes 3 months for my paperwork to go through once enrolled until I am funded. No thanks! Will be back to our fully staffed old clinic in Onehunga - the 10 minutes of extra driving is not an issue! This place is a shambles. Untrained staff on Reception. Laughing behind the desk. The toilets and basin sink need a really good clean to while I am already here conplaining, these are also a big turn off to this place.

Tonight I’ve been there with my 3 little kids and my one year daughter was sick however there was only one doctor and we waited for 2 hours and finally doctor said we can not do anything just give her fluids,still my daughter got diarrhoea and she couldn’t eat anything and coughing a lot, they didn’t care about her and send us home carelessly.first nurse see patients if they can’t do anything for virus why at the first nurses don’t tell and just killing our time

UPDATE: Refused to do a COVID test unless going in for an appointment, in which you have to pay. This urgent care clinic is refusing COVID testing because they cant get money out of the patient. DISGUSTING! I have reported to the authorities.They bill in 15 minute increments and youre only allowed 1 topic per 15 minutes. I went in, had 2 issues to discuss. Finished my first within 6 minutes and when broaching the second issue, was advised that Id have to book another 15-minute appointment. Disgusting revenue gathering, given I still had 9 minutes even going by their rules of 15-minute increments. Stay away, they charge like a wounded bull.

A friend of mine broke his leg and was carried here, the doctor tried to manipulate the leg only to add more damage. But the doctor wasnt being apologetic at all and mentioned nothing about it. He only said its too bad and sent my friend to Auckland City Hospital. Later the doctor at Auckland City Hospital said they really should have called an ambulance because its a serious injury, however the white cross people said the patient was good to go and left him on his own! Im really disappointed with the doctor here, he was not skillful and not treating the patient seriously.

Unorganised, poor communication skills among staff, I think they have too many patients to deal with due to some longer waiting for appointments and blood results explanations, staff pass responsibility to one another and no one gets job done, request which I made were at the reception for days and days noone gives me call to pick it up even they tell you that they will call you when is ready, the formatting for blood results is very unclear compared with the explanation which they give you over the phone when they call you to tell you that something is wrong. So I lost trust for their care too I am their patient for two plus years and I wouldnt recommend it I am considering changing tham.

They seem to be OK (for ACC stuff predominantly).Suggested by my usual GP practice for ACC related incidents (as they were free and are open after hours).Professionalism in my non-expert impression seems to be a step or two down from the doctors at Meadowbank GP. Doctors here seemed more green (less knowledgeable / experienced) perhaps fresh out of Medical school.Pricing for Non-ACC stuff (as seen on their price board) is what I consider very high, with lengthy wait times. Otherwise they seem to be Okay at least for minor ACC stuff, though wouldnt necessarily choose this practice as my normal GP.
