Pros:1. Admin staff are responsive and nurses are timely at getting back to you.Cons:1. On the day of my appointment, I was told that there were two patients before me. Had to wait 1hr plus to get to Dr. Though the Dr. was doing his job, it could still be better.2. No where there is a mention of 30$ for first time visit if you are enrolled.3. Though Saturdays are closed A Surcharge of $5 for 18 & Over Patients for Weekends is mentioned on their website.4. Too much hassle in enrollment and getting your results online.

Hi. I am so thankful for their help. My stepdaughter lives in another area and needed urgent medical treatment. Her and her mother approached the doctors in that area and they told her to come back next month and they would see if there is any available apppintments for them to.jpin thier institute. I visited them and I saw her hands coverwd in sores and this is what I was told. I brought her to Wai Health henderson and they rushed her file transfer and saw her asap. Much appreciated Wai Health!!!!Kind regardsEric Holland

I booked an appointment over the phone a couple days ago and was seen on the same day. I showed up 20mins early and was seen after a 10min wait. Both Dr and nurse were very helpful and patient with me despite my terrible 2 yr old lol

Visits here have been good with nice reception and doctors that take the time to hear you out. Wait times can get long if busy, but if you go in expecting that, then theres no problems.

They now take appointments, so wait times have decreased, but best to actually go in to make an appointment because you could wait on the phone between 40 min to an hour. It takes me 5 min to drive there! Its great being able to see my records online.

They try to do their best eventhough they are busy butthe indian receptionists are rude and lazy! They tend to speak in their own language and try to make you come another day if its not urgent. You guys are not doctors and nurses so calm down and learn to respect patient privacy and patient confidentiality.

Dont risk your life with these people...Dont risk your life with these people... They only care about getting FUNDING and not about human life. Think about your loved ones before going to East Tamaki Healthcare... You have a lot of things to do in life rather than being Misdiagnosed and being a way for ripping funding from the ministry of health.. Your life is worth something... Please dont ruin it by visiting these people!!

I seems that the doctors disregard their patients individual circumstances and medical history, especially if that history is from overseas (including Australia!). Therefore I wouldnt recommend making this your new practice if you have existing health condition, and definitely not if you have recently moved/returned to New Zealand and need help with an existing condition.

This place is very frustrating. The wait time is absolutely disgusting!! They either need more doctors or have to have the book in service maybe..After what is literally hours of waiting, you are only seen for 5 minutes (maybe 10 if you are lucky) and thats it!!The receptionists are very nice though, and are always apologetic when they know you have been waiting for a long time. The other thing I do like though is that its cheaper then going to a private medical center so I guess I shouldnt really complain too much! 😂

Called to find out if I could see a doctor as it was my first visit there. Was told to come in by 4:00pm as they stop taking new appointments at 5:00 on. Got there a little after 4:00 and was told I cant see a doctor, but I could go the White cross instead. Not helpful.

OMG this place needs more reception staff! I had waited in line for 15 mins when luckily the person I was there to see pulled me out of the line. We went to her office for 10/15 min. When I came out, the lady who was next behind me in the original line had ONLY JUST made it to the front of the line!! Come on!! The podiatrist here is lovely and she gets 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The wait times are extreme. The receptionists are rude and untrained. They charged me $70 for a registration fee (although I was already registered!) and to see a doctor about my ear. They didn’t fix my ear and I ended up at Bay Audiology who charged me $30 and actually fixed the damn problem! Don’t bother with this place. You’ll end up in worse health when u leave than when u entered.

Very accommodating staff and Drs. Couple or so receptionists do not accept supergold card is also a community services card so make us pay $18.00 instead of $15.00.... unacceptable customer service in staff not talking to seniors or even listening to us.

Whoever is answering the calls from the call centre needs to get sacked. Not only were they rude but when transferred I kept getting hung up on, I called back and there was no answer, called back no answer. Repeated for so long! All I wanted to do was cancel an appt and it took me an hour to do it

The Health Clinic is easy to find at ground level of Whanau House, west of Westfield shopping complex. The very large off-street parking amenity has half its parking spaces with a slight slope. Half of spaces are wheelchair-friendly.Clinic no longer has weekend clinics - despite advertising that they have weekend clinics. My average wait time has dropped to below two hours. A couple of truly excellent doctors - professional yet personable - listen well, and discuss treatment regimininicsCheck your prescription to ensure all you need and expect on there is there. Check your blood test document, as Ive had critical essential to be tested tests missing on occasions.

Kia ora koutou, he mihi nui ki a koutou.I dont know when the other, negative reports were written but all I can say is that between January and October 2017, I have received absolutely wonderful service. I registered with the Wrap-Around Service and so far I have had a caring nurse come to my home, take my health details; arrange for podiatry and dental help (both free) and have even taken me to hospital appointments. It may be that as a Kuia (elderly woman) I am entitled to these things when others arent but I have nothing but high praise for the staff and service Ive received. No reira, kia kaha, kia manawanui.

I had a great experience, whilst it was a long wait the receptionist dkept people advised of the time frames, when I was called I was seen by Dr Z Gaida (?) apologies if I have mis-spelt, I was a new patient and I had a severe infection, abscess. on my gum. I was treated with respect and listened to, was scripted antibiotics, discussed other issues and was offered a green prescription, which I accepted, I would like to offer any volunteer assistance, and will follow up on my green script. Thank you West Auckland Healthcare.

Sorry but you get a 2. Because of medication i have to visit here once a week. I am happy with my doctor but its the management and its policies and procedures that need improvement. I also have to do the doctors and specialists job. Its the last thing i need when i am terminally ill.Now you get a 1? Because you doctors do not know that we now have to have our medical certs electronically sent to Work and Income you have caused such distress to myself and my caregiver. I told you what WINZ told me and you told me i was wrong and that its not the truth? So my caregiver popped off to winz for appropriate forms and the receptionist laughed at your dumbness? SHAME ON YOU! I then rang winz from my wheelchair to be told I was correct?Maybe you guys are not paid enough or hate your jobs but I thought as a doctor its an unspoken code that a duty of care is paramount....clearly not!Listen to the little guy once in awhile and you might learn a thing or 10?Now I will be making an official complaint with the Health and Disability Commission. If I dont then you will fail to see the flaws in your system.Kia Ora.

TLDR: I wouldnt go here again, and nor should you.I do not recommend this clinic. I presented with extensive non healing 4 month old 3rd degree burns. I told Dr Fazlus Chowdhury that I was in extreme pain and I asked him for a one-off dose of an oral opioid so I could tolerate a dressing change. Not only did he refuse, but without consulting me he recorded in my notes that I was a drug seeker. Absolutely inappropriate. I also told him that my wound was infected with staph aureas which was cultured by the A and E and I requested an appropriate antibiotic, cephalexin. He refused. He spoke over my head to my community support worker, and I had to remind him that I was the patient and I have the legal right to be respected and listened too. He openly discriminated against me for having a mental illness. He fails as a doctor, barely speaks english and has a VERY patriarchal attitude. I was extremely offended by the way I was treated. After I had 5 skin grafts I saw Dr Giada, who was nice to me but considered it more ethical to completely cut me off from nerve pain medication than have a conversation with me. I needed the support of community nurses every time I went in there, just to have my medical issues addressed.Bad clinic that takes advantage of poor and underpriviledged people. Ive changed practices.
