Exceptional service and delicious seafood chowder. Overall experience, highly recommended to dine here. They have chocolate fountain too😍 It is my first time dining here and Im highly impressed. Thank you to the staff, keep up the good work. Will definitely come back.

Very delicious food, great servise, good staff. Enjoyed buffet lunch and will go again in future. Will give this Valentines Restaurant 5 Stars for the food and service and 3 Stars for choice of cakes and sweets, very limited, could be better. But the rest was great. Highly recommend.

Im giving this place 1 star,it had ok customer service,the waitress on the other hand was very nice for her first night on,the food was real bad,my eldest son and I had ordered steaks,he didnt receive his though,nor did my middle child receive his plate of oysters as requested, the food was old,not fresh,the seafood wasnt at all great,worsest $300 spent in one place at a time for all 7 adults and 2 children,the selection was horrible,big ups to the new waitress pretty much doing everything...also had the health department or someone looking at how old the food was and sitting there for..

I arrived a few minutes after lunch service had just start @12pm. I came in with my partner and son. Over all, it was a big let down. Everything we ate and saw that was there was not fresh at all, apart from the hot chips and chicken nuggets. We also brought a jug of coke which cost $18, wasnt even the real stuff, Will never come back. Would put down NO stars if I could👎

I was certainly impressed with the cleanliness, and the friendly staff that was on. I am pregnant so am very fussy with my food. I ate until I was full, as the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The variety of food that was available, catered to us all. My children could not stop either, even the most fussy one ate until he could not move. My husband said the only thing missing, that would cater the Pacifica, is taro or green banana, otherwise he was certainly impressed too.The atmosphere was claim and relaxing. It was not over crowded, and with young children I was able to enjoy my meal, without feeling judged.We normally go the Happy Days. Thankfully they were fully booked, otherwise we wouldnt know how much Valentines has improved.We definitely will be returning customers, throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you again ❤

Worst Place Ever. Food was Cold. Brandy Snap Cream was not fresh I could tell by the colour and its texture. Cups were not washed properly. Tables were sprayed while we were eating. Will never visit this place again. They urgently need a food inspector there.

We visited Valentine’s Manukau this week (May 2021) the service was average and the food was disgusting. The food was lukewarm or cold when it should have been hot. They lacked variety and didn’t have all the options that was on their website. Definitely won’t be visiting there again!

Held a small wedding reception here and it was very lovely, food was great and the service was awesome. Would highly recommend:) we notified them on very short notice and they did a fantastic job setting up and notifying us about times for food and drinks. I came here 3+ years ago, the food and value was amazing. Today (24th May 2021), I experienced the most unappetising food. I had ordered a three medium rare steak, the steak was not medium rare, it was as chewy, hard as a rock and the portion is so small. Oyster werent fresh as well. The hot food, was quite bland or just too sweet. Overall, I do not recommend coming here after my terrible experience here (as well as the value you get is not worth) .

This place has its good and bad days. Most of the time food is cold, stale and has no flavour. I will most probably go back due to no very many all you can eat places.

Went for Sunday lunch, overpriced at $29.90Omg do not put yourself through the disappointment. The food was cold, the stirfry was swimming in who knows what. the meat was unidentifiable!The noodles barely had any sauce.To set the price so high and provide food that is sooo disgusting. I wouldnt serve this to my worse enemy!do yourselves a favor, dont do it. Get a box from maccas instead. Giving a 1 star is too generous

The staff was great but the food was so bland and horrible the food tastes like old chicken with meats and no flavour with hardly any desserts icecream was so watery and looks like baby vomit when its all mounted looks like it never been serviced everything in there needs to be improved by food quality and restaurant material especially with the amount I paid for 120 dollars and not just that the amount that says online 39.90 should be around 79.80 felt like I was ripped off and the only thing that tasted ok was just the garlic bread and chips what me my husband and child just ate and so degrading we definitely wont be back and definitely not worth spending on now Ive had an upset tummy its not the same how valentines used to be back in 2010 was better then now the food now is so horrible and disappointing

The food is not that great. A disappointment for the cost. But what was worse was how jam packed it was. There were people waiting inside and outside and no space. You had to squeeze ure way between tables. Therefore you could hear other peoples conversations. You would think they would organise and manage the bookings properly. It seems they trying to get as many bookings as possible. Then half way between our sitting we got asked if we could make our table available for others which u dont see in restaurants. So no not a good review.

Alpana is the duty manager during the food session we have. She was engaging and hospitable. Even when she was also focused on the economics and growth of the business, her service was still genuine.Service was definitely better than the Valentines Ive been to in Hamilton. I do recommend it. Personal opinions are that the business side is considered greatly. If not the priority of the service and not 100% genuine kindness.

The food was not nice at all. The mayo or dressing in the shrimp cocktail was turning. The oysters had been prefrozen and looked like they had been on display for days on end I wasnt game enough to try one. The soup was foul and the salads or the dressing in the salads were going off....the hot food was marginal, the ham was okay, the spare ribs were fatty but edible, chicken was very spicey. I like spice, but the rest of the table and there was 25 of us, thought it was too much. The food label didnt relate. So for $1000. The food was very poor. I thought they would have put a bit more effort into the food considering we booked.

This was literally the worst meal I have had at a restaurant. Also we had someone on tictocat the table next to us the whole time so that we couldnt even have a conversation. They are advertising that they have steak on the menu. I didnt even bother as it looked as hard as rubber. The price does definantly not match its quality. Would never eat there again.

HiJust came from Valentines Manukau. My family and I were so disappointed with the food. I felt really bad that I took my family to eat at Valentines. The naan was like rock hard, butter chicken had no flavor. The chicken thai curry. I only took one bite. I wanted to vomit. All the chicken just tasted funny with the smell. The butter chicken had ham in it. I had to tell them to change it. It took them ages. Maybe they were just microwaving the chicken. The chicken wings just tasted funny. It had a really bad after taste. I didnt even want to try the roast chicken. The salad bar wasnt even topped up. I asked for patoto salad to be topped up. The waitress said yes. Nothing happen. I asked another person.They came back 5min later. Told me oh sorry we dont have any left. The cake for the desserts were old. The custard had no taste. It had lumps. Felt like flour and water. Feels like it was expired. The cheese cake tasted like funny. Like taste bits of grain if the milk was off. The after taste was disgusting. Like it has been sitting in the freezer for ages. The chocolate fountain. The chocolate tasted really off and old. The only thing which was good the shrimp. But I feel really sick from eating. I thought I was going to talk to the managers. Because I advised the wait staff. Im not happy about the food. But instead they left in a hurry. When I went to the counter. The girl said the managers have left for the night. This place I will never recommend and the price not even worth it.

ABSOLUTELY dreadful! Went last night for dinner, was expecting $39.90 worth of food.. nowhere near.Only 5 out of 12 food dishes were named/labelled. My mother despises pork and because there was no name on the item..she almost spewed on the table!Seafood was NOT FRESH AT ALL! Major disappointment!Food Safety Services need to make a visit there.

Mivrowave pizza. Cold chips. Small portions of basic seafood so your always waiting for them to be refilled. No deeo fried seafood. Just tiny samosas and spring rolls. No chicken wings. There was sauage.Like terrible very average food. Not resturant quality.

Isha, from the time we booked and when we arrived, you made us feel special and welcome. The restaurant was clean and tidy. But the food.. oh wow all that yummy food. It was extremely perfect customer service, strict with the Covid 2 meters, which was helpful for us in line. We just pick the food and their staff member puts it on the plate. Good changes! Nice seating; setting as well of the tables and seats. Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Very very quiet yet we waited at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone came to seat us. Food was awful. Everything was dry and tasted old. There wasnt alot of flavor in anything we ate and we tried almost everything. The ice cream came out sloppy and grainy. The seafood buffet had next to nothing in it and where the crabs were suppose to be, was only their shell. Never returning here. Such a shame as I remember Valentines being a wonderful place as a kid.

This place is horrible for starters the price is way to high for the quality there the food was horrible, wasnt even much to pick from it made me feel sick after even tho I didnt have much I thought it would be a nice family dinner but the people that were sitting next to us was so loud and doing tiktok so we could hear it, it takes a long time for them to make new food its not worth the money Definitely never going back there.

Valentines has gone so far down hill it isnt even funny. Terrible value for money, the food wasnt kept hot (or even warm), the selection of food was not up to scratch and wasnt even close to what was advertised, the service was non-existent even though we were 2 of 2 patrons. I would not recommend going to Valentines, you are better off spending your money anywhere else.

We were there to celebrate a special occasion on 31st October. Service was okay the fact we came in for lunch a week earlier told them what we were doing. No offer of price list or even told where we would be seated for lunch as I all I kept hearing from DM we have over 220 bookings. Price list regarding beverages would have saved me some dollars when I did a comparison between refillable and jugs given the amount of money we spent on the day. Service was good except for the fact that they could have done a better job with customer service especially when people are spending that much as I did ask about beverages and the price difference and to be told that it was too late they had filled the jugs already, it was frustrating.

Well, after 10years of not stepping foot in these doors, tonight on the 6th Sept 2020 I can definitely say with my hand on my heart that Valentines Manukau is DELICIOUSLY INCREDIBLE & Would happily recommend all my friends & family to eat here either ASAP or in near future. HUGE shout out to Isha and her Team (Premi, Tee, Dapinder, Reetu & Mani) for the wonderful service towards both my husband & I AND FOR gracefully redeeming this buffet/restaurant for our fellow kiwis, locals & tourists. Kai was beautiful and the SEAFOOD VARIETY & FRESHNESS WERE SUPERB, absolutely fantastic. Many Thanks Guys!!

Decent food, was pretty quiet but I like that tbh, Good service friendly and approachable, Food wasnt top quality stuff you find at an expensive restraint, but what do you expect its a buffet you can eat all you want, for $40 per person I think it was good value for money, ate 2 plates of dinner and a whole plate of dessert.

Service was good and friendly but food quality wasnt worth the price. Ribs prawns and ham were the big items but were dry and bland and Luke warm.Overpriced drinks, restraint notnpacked by still waiting in long line for food mains. Bad setup.Took friends here for the first time we had one plate each and left half of it on the plate. Nothing was great pretty equal to happy days.wont be going back waste of money we ended up going maccas after.

First time back, in a very long time. I can tell you this, if you have standards, this is not the place for you, but if youre looking for somewhere just to eat then it is a place for you. Honestly, the food was over cooked, dry and had no taste. It had no appeal to it and it cost $40 for dinner. Total rip off because it has no quality.

Quite disappointed with the food and the service, for example the mashed potatoes were gone and never replaced the entire night as far as I saw. Friendly enough staff, but overall a bust for the price and quality delivered.

Dessert was yummy the food was average.. however the two staff waiting the guests Isna and Tee were very helpful and welcoming from the moment we entered making our dining experience very pleasant and stress free, thank you girls for looking after us.

All Covid level 2 precautions were followed and implemented well. Thank you to the staff for also being attentive and listening to my child as she placed her order. Btw the raw fish is always revolting and needs some big improvement. I seem to come here when theres a loud island celebration which can be disrupting but its also nice to see how this place can be used for large gatherings. Valentines (Man) food & prices are both TERRIBLE & OVER-PRICED compared to HAPPY DAYS in Manurewa! ... this is (the very reason) why EVERYBODY goes to HAPPY DAYS instead of your restaurant ... The previous Management had a way better MENU/VARIETY OF FOOD & the PRICES were competitive & affordable which made it a REGULAR STOP for lunch & dinner when we were out that way! ... :P
