They are doing an amazing job considering the difficult circumstances. All the doctors I spoke to (Dr Alathari and Dr Moss), the nurses and the lovely ladies at the reception were very compassionate, kind and extremely helpful and they always tried to solve my issues as soon as possible. Dr Moss is by far the kindest, most proactive and thorough doctor Ive ever been to. He is incredibly well thought of among my family; his quick thinking and urgency meant I was in a hospital within an hour of seeing him. No thanks will ever be enough.

Wellington Medical Centre responded in a professional and curtious manner to the review posted below, I thank them. On hindsight, which is a great thing, the Doctors at wmc have always treated me with respect, hence I am happy to post this update.Medical services over the pandemic have been pressureised. Wellington Medical Centre has clearly found it difficult to meet this challenge. Having contacted wmc in relation to two potentially serious medical issues there response was quite worrying. On one issue the advisor explained to me my issue was not an issue as it did not raise a, red flag, in relation to the criteria/crib sheet they where required to ahere to. Fortunately my dentist did not agree, referring me immediately to Musgrove Park Hospital. In relation to the second issue, as advised, I sent pictures and relevant details using the engage consult portal, expecting a reply within one day. Having not received a response by the eighth day I contacted wmc, this got me nowhere. In conclusion if you consider yourself to have a medical issue/condition you are concerned about, Do Not Rely on wmc to receive a prompt, informative and supportive response.

I was a little scared to go here after reading the reviews of previous patients here. But I had a very pleasant surprise. Definitely every situation is different and I obviously don’t know all the doctors or staff. Having said that I’m happy with my experience.Really nice staff, very helpful. Doctors also really nice. Appointments are given fairly quick for a public health office (in my opinion) they gave appointments with a GO for the same day or even the next day. Very clean and new building.One observation and probably with the whole institution is that the speed in which they refer you to a specialist could be faster (given that sometimes a GP won’t know all the details/answers for certain things).Overall im felling grateful and happy with the NHS and this medical centre.

I felt compelled to leave a review because I was so impressed with the care I received earlier this week. Having recently moved to this area I had to register with a local GP. Alex the receptionist was extremely helpful and my family were registered with no fuss. I had a telephone appointment the same day which was very convenient and saved me having to put myself at risk of catching something. I received advice and a prescription was sent immediately (electronically) to ASDA pharmacy in Taunton, where I happened to be waiting in my car when the doctor called. Very efficient service during these tough times. Thank you

Everytime I call its big a challenge to get appoitment with a doctor. I found reception staff on phone very rude and very unhelpful everytime!I dont believe that I or anyone should have to give their detailed health problems just to speak to or see a doctor as this should be confidential.I was also missed diagnosed by the doctor at your medical centre and a day later I ended up on the operation table fighting for my life.Doctors in Musgrove Hospital couldnt believe the negligence and lack of knowledge as to how to diagnose a simple basic symptom.I would like to say on another note that Dr Porter is the only one who I can trust and feel comfortable with, she always listened to me and tries to help were she can.

My experience with the surgery has been nothing but a positive one, I have had some serious health issues and I have always felt supported and well cared for. Yes I might have had to sometimes wait for an appointment but the surgery is certainly a busy one.I must single out two reception staff Alex and Mathew these guys are brilliant, they always go above and beyond and i have found them always so helpful. All round a good surgery with many good GP,s this shows our NHS at its very best.

Used to be really good, but now its impossible to get an appointment. It feels like the doctors dont want to put in the effort. Phoned up the other day to be told Im not giving you a diagnosis, thats what your consultant is for even though I was in lots of pain. Waited 6 months for an implant removal and 6 months for a referral.

Terrible service as usual from this surgery, despite the pandemic. My elderly mother has been trying to book a flu jab for days but no one EVER answers the phone!!! Always stuck in a queue on the phone that NEVER seems to go down. Tried to show her how to make an appointment online but then it says she needs registering for it which you have to get by PHONING the surgery......its laughable the whole thing!!

I can not fault any care I have had. My referrals have been as quick as they can possibly do it.They are severely overworked. We came from a similar size town to wellington. They had five surgeries.So Wellington are amazing. They manage with Two.

As a visitor to your surgery sat in reception awaiting a carers course, I found your male receptionist exceptionally professional, kind, caring and polite. He is a credit to your surgery.(I am myself a GP receptionist in a busy surgery and I know too well how hard this job is)

There were no appointments left, I did call quite late but the receptionist was very helpful and asked the doctor to phone me back. She called me only 10 mins later and squeazed me in to emergency slot. I was very impressed

The practice is served by good doctors, but the centre is clearly way too oversubscribed as it is close to impossible to get to see one. A telephone triage system has had to be implemented, showing that there are far too many patients for the centre to cope with. You also have to hope (often in vain) that you can even get through...line is frequently engaged.

I’m sure the doctors here are great but I wouldn’t know as I gave up trying to book an appointment due to the awfully rude receptionist. She was completely unhelpful and horrid and gave me information that contradicted the NHS website. Completely put off this surgery.

The doctors and nurses are fabulous, sadly the same cant be said of the receptionists, given attitude and treated badly on several occasions when a simple resolution to your query cant be employed.

When I first came to Wellington five years ago I could not have been happier, but over the last year or so there have been a palpable feeling that the GPs here , (and i dont know if its due to workload or just attitude) that you are really just a problem which they wish would go away.I think the GPs could if they wished , make this the excellent practice it used to be,

Have been with this surgery approx 12 months, have never really trusted the gp I was given and have asked several times to change to another gp, to be told no its not allowed to happen, the gp has tried giving me anti bio Im severally allergic too and declined medicines Ive been on for many of years with my previous trustworthy gp.Complaints and requests are ignored hugely and I am now leaving this surgery. Im far from perfect health and have never felt so uneasy and untrusting of my gp. My whole experience with the gp I was given at wellington medical centre is a bad one. Receptionist guys are lovely cant fault them but my doctor is a whole different level of shocking !!
