Maintainence is good but need to improve.. Staff are polite. Its a small park. It will be great if they extend the park which is both sides of the canal. Hanging bridge on the canal gives you thrilling experience when you walk on it. Greenery gives you a pleasant atmosphere. It has so many good views. Parking facility available but very less space.

I went thrice there when I am student +1&+2there are some of the kids playing tools there that one is small and I loved it

Raghavaiah Park located in the heart of the city The park has hanging bridge connecting to B R Ambedkar park located other side of the Bandar canal. Raghavaiah Park is a in Vijayawada has been created in a way to take us back to the old days as it looks like some sort of a palace or a fort. On the outside it has been painted red and in between two bricks we can see white as well. It tells us stories of the past tales which have been created with different statues. The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation construction of water foundation, huge statues of idols and other animals to attract and entertain the visitors particularly the children. The park has no canteen and parking facility.

Easy to access and recognize this place. It is one of the oldest park in Vijayawada. It is a small park. Maintenance is very poor. Need some improvement alot. Only cool drinks stall is available here. Children playground is available but very less space. Entry fee is 10/- per head for adults. Parking facility is available but very less space and there is no charges for that.

Its under renovation I guess. Best for jogging, in the other side of the park besides the stream. Girls, dont go without large group. Not meant for families, okay for couples. Anti social glimpses found soooomany times. Beware. One interesting view is with the rope bridge that is built to cross krishna stream which carries agricultural 💦🌊. Snacks opposite of the park are quite famous and delicious.

Beautiful Park With An Hanging Bridge You can Walk Over..Hardly Takes Less Than Half An Hour To Go Around The Park.The Entry Fee Is 10₹ For Adults & 5₹ For Children.There Is An Aquarium Shop In The Park And Also A Cage With Rabbits,Pigeons In It.Food And Beverages Are Sold Inside.There Are Monkeys Playing And Hopping Here And There.Apart From All These There Is A Small Kids Zone With Slides, Swings Etc .The Park Also Has Fountains But They Dont Seem To Be Working.Though The Park Is Completely Greenish It Is Congested To Walk In There.

One of the oldest parks in Vijayawada and recently got renovated well maintained still lot of development going on. The hanging bridge is one of its kind, now not fully operational. Plants of many kinds are in the Garden area. Kids play area needs few more improvements

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) has renovated the Raghavaiah Park, one of the three major parks on Mahatma Gandhi Road with an estimated cost of `30 lakh. Municipal Commissioner J Nivas along with City Mayor Koneru Sreedhar inaugurated the new facilities on Tuesday evening.The abominable condition of the park was reported in these columns a month ago. Municipal commissioner J Nivas then inspected the park and directed officials concerned to renovate the park and make it accessible to public. It is known that a major portion of the park was damaged by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for expansion of NH-16 near Krishna Lanka fire station area. Nivas, who took stock of the situation, developed new facilities in a short span.

Park is very small hence we need to make intelligent use of place. A fountain would have been better idea. More place would have been available. The animal statues in the park are a sham. However small a kid may be they deserve good images. Walls also need to be painted. On the whole I am disapponted after my visit on 27th October. I want it to be a bright place as it is on a very happening road.
