I stayed at this hotel for one day and booked a room for 3 and to my surprise they didnt provide an extra bed, instead made us sleep on mattress which is placed over the floor.I never expected something of this kind in a star hotel. Im totally disappointed. Bathroom door lock isnt working. Front desk was helpful though.Room is super clean. Hotel is well sanitized.

We recently stayed for 9 days while we attended court hearings for our daughters adoption in nearby Eluru. Our stay was fantastic, even by US standards. We felt well taken care of, staff checked up on us often, and even accommodated the extra needs (towels, bedding, etc.) of having a new child running around. By the end of our stay, we missed the staff that we started to form bonds with. When you are trying to parent a new child in a foreign country, your hotel becomes your home away from home. I cant recommend enough!

Breakfast service in food exchange was very fast and all staff very attentive and especially Feroz was very helpful and all were following covid precautions very strictly😻😻😻

One of the finest one in Vijayawada. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Very well sanitized and maintained. Absolutely clean. There was enough attention and the team went out of the way to pack food for our breakfast for early travel. The dinner menu could be better. The service is fantastic.

Super Excellent Hotel; Covid protocols well maintained.8 days of heavenly bliss from 20th to 27th September at Hotel Novotel Varun, Vijayawada. A seven star comfort, indeed. Every staff in the Hotel are hard working and sincere in their profession. Right from Security at Entrance to Front Desk, Spic n Span clean huge Rooms (R.No.402 & 405), Housekeeping, Laundry, Food Exchange Restaurant, Top floor Deck Garden for my early morning Exercise cum Yoga, Reservation etc, all were top class. Excellent wide spread of Breakfast in the morning, super excellent spread during Dinner. Special thanks to Mr Naveen- Reservation Executive, Mr Akhil-Director Sales. There were 2 girls (Priyanka & Jyoti-Oriya) at Food Exchange restaurant who were always on their toes. Special mention about Miss Jyoti at Food Exchange as she lifted a child to comfort him during the morning breakfast. This gave a personal touch to the guest family. Great job. Special mention to the Laundry. Excellently pressed Laundry.

Check in is smooth. Staff courteous. Five stars for sanitisation.

Feroz and chef shekant were really humble and their services were exceptional. We were taken care by them at the breakfast table and the response time and service were really good.

Our family went for a buffet. Staff were hospitable to accommodate 18 of us on one side of the restaurant. Service was exemplary but the food was mediocre.The spread was limited and the taste was also quite average. It felt like we paid for the ambience but not for the food.

Very disappointed with the experience. Its certainly not the experience one would associate with a hotel of this rating. The check in took a while, the bathroom door wouldnt lock, I was upgraded to, another same room... not sure what the upgrade was, delays at the reception were not even funny. The extra bed I had asked for came after multiple reminders, they forgot they had to charge me for the extra bed, stupid me I reminded and paid. And they did not replenish the coffee and sugar sachets in the room!Im never staying there again. Not worth the premium they demand...

Had a nice stay, clean premises, the sky deck view & the pool view were great. Loved the breakfast options there & service.Only disappointing thing was that they promised an amazing city view from the rooms we booked but gave us a room where all I could see from the window was terrace of some college building.

Great place to stay, very nice service and staff. However, food court and restaurant services were subpar. Very few items tasted good. Most of the menu items were sub-par to average if not unpalatable. Wait times for food after ordering was too long...took around 30 to 45 minutes for us to get our ordered items.In summary, there is plenty of scope for improvement for food quality, taste and speed of service. Nevertheless, Excellent hotel rooms and amenities plus interior services.

Being a accor member , I have stayed in a lot of hotels and enjoyed there, Vijayawada Novotels in room service is the worst I ever had. The saving point for the hotel is its Terrace which has a very good swimming pool, Bar, Gym , Spa and a lawn. The breast buffet is also good. They have to work out a lot on the in room dining experience.Also I was charged too high on the second day saying that the hotel was fully booked even though I was a Platinum member.

Great hotel, had a quick check in. Rooms were properly sanitized and with a sticker mentioning room is sanitized. Good feeling in these times. All staff were wearing masks and good to see stickers all around the hotel mentioning covid guidelines to be followed. Awesome food and great service.

1. Bathroom is slippery, especially the bath area. There should be an anti skid mat in bath area or the flooring need to be changed.2. In breakfast food availability could be better. I had to wait for really long time even for sambar and many other things.Apart from these, the hotel is outstanding. Were very happy.

Hotel is good..may be surrounding not great..Hotel rooms central AC is very strong and bone chilling even though you can switch off the AC switch in your room, central AC will keep running so its good if you in bed with blanket on your body else you cannot sit in room and do any other activities .During covid ..observed that they have wedding function organized and sudden reflux of guest in restaurant....brushing each other solders to get the buffet breakfast .They should have separate arrangements for the guest for wedding etc ..And luckily I was on 3rd floor but still able to hear loud music from mezzanine floor ..may good know about the other guest who were put in 1st and 2nd floor ..dont know how they can be so greedy allowing wedding gathering and nuisance to other guest 🙄

Stayed here last Saturday the hotel is so neat and well maintained. They provided complimentary water bottles and high tea. The breakfast buffet was very good with lot of options ( both Indian and Continental) Both gym and Swimming pool were great. Terrace swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained. Lovely experience would like to come back soon. kudos to all service and front office staff.

Place nice with very good ambience and courteous staff. 5 stars for that. Food is pathetic. Had Thai red curry chicken - no where clear to a real Thai food. In general find rest off the food average and pricey.

Snooty front desk gal!. Clogged sink drain, unclosing bathroom door are just a beginning. The bathroom door when closed, show a vertical slit pointing directly towards commode.. say good bye to privacy! Dont fall for free evening snacks at courtyard.. just a lousy sandwich and tea bag tea. Management clearly failed at every aspect.. Dont event get me started on food!.Will never stay here again! Miss Hyd Novotel!But the staff at food exchange is very courteous. Best breakfast I’ve ever had!

I would definitely not recommend going here. Bad service. Poor quality.We had dinner here to celebrate a birthday. There is no proper air-conditioning.We got a hair follicles in the food we ordered and when asked about it. They just replaced the plate. No apologies or what so ever. And we got a reply as they are not wearing a hat it might have fell when serving the food.Definitely not what we have expected from Novotel
