Very old resort somewhat maintained quit well. Compared to cost its too expensive.Having swimming pool, some lawn area for walking.Complimentary breakfast will be provided, but its not upto the mark. You will have typical South varity of food.

Very kind staffs, Tea and coffee are good with large quantity.Nice place to take rest while highways driving.Maintained neatly and rest rooms are good.Credit card accepted but some network issues while my card was shipped.Having enough space for parking.Staying resort also available in the same campus.Rates are resalable, I have added the menu card in photo section.

A very good place to have steam rice and fish curry. The food taste like home cooked one. Sear Fish Curry is tasty and so the small fish fry (Napthili 65). Mutton curry is also good. Great place on the highway while visiting the Shrine of our lady of health.

Its is in the velankanni to nagappattinam ECR. The best place to enjoy with family. Lot of rooms, marriage hall with full A/C, swimming pool are available. They are having ducks, love birds, turkey, African parrots, etc.... Its Lovely to see them and hear their noises. One of the Good place to celebrate family functions, get together party, office annual functions.

Staff are highly service oriented. I had a chance to interact with the MD of the resort too. Theyre so humble. The food order comes so fast . Everything is aesthetic, Loved the ambience.

The resort was good but the restaurant was not good the food was ok but the water bottleWas actually 20 rupees but they said 5%tax 30 ruppes

1. Amenities are good, which means room interior2. Salinity water so taps are not good, outlet is full of salts so it has reduced water flow3. Breakfast was nice whereas dinner very very worst.

I am staying at our sekar GS resorts at Nagapattinam. Herewith I attached video of resorts. Very nice place to stay. Neat and clean corona free resorts, good maintenance, it is feel of somewhat in abroad with our culture food,karakulambu and sambar are like homemade, ancient items like mattu vandi, birds, if we went outside of this resorts only we feel Nagapattinam, inside there is no feel, swimming pool is well maintained, we are very proud of our classmate, friend having such nice involvement in maintenance of our tradition. Praying God to get more and more happiness and healthy in their life.

Good. There is a spacious hall there more than 100 people can sit.dining hall was so neat and spacious. Parking place is available and very spacious. The space infront of the hall was spacious. Good infrastructure.

Didn’t expect to stay at such a great place in velankanni. The property is neatly maintained and feels like a resort in Kerala. With abundance of trees and plants everywhere, the atmosphere feels so much of nature around you.The management also grows lot of geese, hens & turkeys that freely roam around. It’s a good sight inside the resort. The rooms are well maintained and are spacious. I liked the toilets which is very important to me at any place I stay. It was spacious and neat. The room service guys were friendly and at our service whenever we called. We couldn’t use their pool due to the covid restrictions. The entire campus was spacious and neat.

This resort type was awesome and its about 2 to 3 km from church and staffs are very helpful. rooms are very neat and clean. housekeeping staffs are very polite. good stay and valuable price. wonderful and peaceful stay and we enjoyed the day

A very decent stay bit away from the busy Velankanni main area but very reachable to Church. Rooms are bit small but good enough for small family. Food in the restaurant is good. They have a good swimming pool and is very clean. Garden is spacious for kids to enjoy and they house many birds and swans. Overall a good place to stay in Velankanni.

Distance is more than what a tourist will imagine. if coming with own vehicle then ok, but not apt during festival season as routes will be blocked. food tastes good especially for people from kerala, But have to something to reduce flies in restaurant. overall Its okay to choose the hotel if u really dont expect 3star hotel facilities

This was my 10th year visit to Velankanni and decided to try a new place this time, and that was the first mistake I did. Value for money - not at all worth for the price being charged (doesnt really fit a resort, but more a serviced apartment). Location - not ideal for those who dont have their own transport (quite far from church). Service Quality - we got dirty towels as well as stinking rooms/corridor (loads and loads of bird **** everywhere due to lots of pigeons living there). They replaced towels when requested, but had to live with the stink. Wonder why no effort is made to regularly clean the bird ****. Food & Drinks - taste is below average. Unfortunately, we found a hair in one of the dishes while having lunch! Complimentary breakfast too is very limited and tasteless, except for the omelette, which was ordered. Amenities - enough place is there for activities, but their overall service quality and location make it a poor choice to spend any additional time there. Cleanliness - as mentioned above, dirty towels, some black particles on the bed, cockroach in bathroom, broken/stained/rusted bathroom interiors were what we got. Note: All this was experienced in two superior rooms that we had booked. Would recommend this only as a last option, ..

Excellent place to stay with family. A good swimming pool, lot of birds are there. Its 3 km to church. Staffs will arrange auto to church (150rs one-way)Breakfast is average.

Low value for the stiff price i paid. Location is very remote with no means of transport. Very good only for locals. Service by village boys needs to be appreciated, though with no training are well intentioned. Food is just passable.During the rush season starting yesterday, they have only a exotic chinese food cooked by local guys!! Standard lunch menu is cancelled!! Amenities are good and Cleanliness is good. Best to AVOID TILL THE END OF Festival season at Velankanni. Avoid for next 10 days.

Its a Ok place. If you want to stay there get the room on the right side from the entrance. Think it is called gold block. On the left hand side behind the rooms there is a vaccant land full of drainage. It stinks too badly. You cant even close the door and sit inside. The gold block rooms are ok. There was no hot water for bath. Food is pretty average. Pool is ok but needs bit clean-up.

Such a wonderful Hotel. Our Trip yo Velankanni was so pleasant as we stayed here in GS Resort. We had a very peaceful stay... Beautiful Hotel. Brkfast was awesome. Very friendly staff. Hereafter whenever we visit Velankanni, without second thot, we r going to book here.

The room was small and the bed sheets stained. Washed but stained. There was not hot water supply in the bathrooms. And the worst of all the food at the restaurant was horrible. Food provided for dinner was not even cooked properly. The aloo was basically raw. So definitely plan to have food from outside. Also at around 1 am the hotel staff woke us up as they got the room numbers mixed up.Now the positives, the staff was extremely courteous and provided everything we asked for. And the breakfast was good. The pool is awesome and the ambiance of the resort is to die for. Will love to visit again just for the ambiance. So arrange to get parcel from out side and you should be happy.

I go by a simple rule - when it comes to priority choose based on quantity, hence am going with the CONS first. If you want to read the PROS first feel free to scroll down.CONS - As they say, do not judge the book by its cover. So here we have a place which looks and actually feels lavish from the outside till you step into the room. Once inside the room -* We did not find any towels* The TV set was muted all the while* The bathroom did not have a soap holder, which is calling for trouble* No warm water for bathing and if you did need one they would get you warm water in bucket but that would take at least 15 minsPROS - The resort is away from the hustle of Velankanni but still under 15 mins drive. The resort is over a large expanse of land and hence you get separated villas.

We booked 2 Deluxe AC rooms at GS Resorts for one night (May 13- May 14). Both rooms were compact and ideal for 2 persons in each room. The rooms along with attached bathrooms were clean and the hotel staffs (particularly Suresh) were very friendly and courteous. Room service was very prompt. Food at the restaurant was good. The amenities were adequate. Resort is conveniently located on the main road itself and is just 3.2 km from the Church. Highly recommended for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Neat resort with a good setup. Rooms are clean but small. Stayed in one with a balcony which was nice. Kids will have fun with the ducks and birds which roam around the resort. The swimming pool was good but had a lot of chlorine. Room service isn’t 24hrs. Overall it was a good stay.

Poor management.. taps, commode were broken.. they knew but they didnt fix until someone takes the room.There were missing amenities (coffee , tea powder)Hot water for the bathing was also not available.the replacement of old/damaged stuffs needed.Improvement needed

On the highway road so easy to locate. 10mins from the main church area but worth staying far as the hotels and area around the Church are not well maintained. Resort has a restaurant too but with limited options.

I found the resort good and tidy. The ambience around the area also is pleasant. The swimming pool in the compound also can be enjoyed thoroughly. It is very accessible and nearby the Velankanni main road. Here we find very good accommodation and the service also good. The service by the restaurant is not recommended.

One of the worst places, a definite NO go.. highly NOT recommend.Breakfast you will have with flies, buffet foods never refilled. Rooms horrible, smell of cigarette smoke all the time. Broken showers broken toilets. Its a big place with swimming pool and some birds but not maintained at all. Communication a major problem, none understand there. On giving feedback the receptionist is telling the security guard, as if he is responsible. So much potential at this place only if they improve it and maintain.

Resort – nice rooms and nice construction Hot water all time, Wifi Available in Reception only.Rooms were spacious for 2 adults and 1 kid less than 7-8 yrs.; washrooms are really nice and well maintained.Conts- for the name resort we cannot find Swimming pool, gym, play areaI stayed in saffire block basement, when I opened the backside door, it was smellier with bad smell, so closed it. TV not available totally – no signal, when enquired they said cable wire was cut and making ready.Coming to restaurant, this is the first restaurant I saw charging water for morning buffet. Buffet item was very low (idly,samiya,dosa,pongal, sambar , white chutney, coffee and tea). After check in by 3.00 pm I asked for veg items in hotel, as if an alien they saw me am. After that they took order for veg fried rice chapatti with no side disk, side disk extra Gobi Manchurian ordered (but all items ordered were up to in quality and quantity). As I kid he was not able to find any dish ( dhall rice or rasam not found – rice basmati rice only)But more un-digestible is, in buffet water bottle is been charged.Parking – No issue lot of parking area available, well maintained lawn. Recommend for families , children’s and elders

The place is calm , secure and premises are good including a swimming pool and garden with some pets.Food is ok..fried rice was good but chicken 65 was not good.Rooms are clean including bathroom except for flooring.If you stay as part of visiting Velankanni church, make sure you come with your vehicle(getting public bus is nearly impossible even though bus stops are there and as usual auto will charge you 150 for 3.5 to church).Free Breakfast is not that good.Receptionist seemed to be very hostile(unfortunately thats the first impression on this place).

Nothing much to say, Highly priced, Not even a bottle water in the room, Mismanaged, Bedsheet not clean, Duvet cover not changed, TV without set top box which provides only some local tamil channels. Shower handle fixtures not working, Flies in the room Not hygienic, Only swimming pool is clean, that too u need to get coupon before entering the pool, We have to walk all the way to the reception before entering the pool, these things to be given to the guest at the time of check in, it should not be a surprise when we reach the pool with swimming costume,it is not mentioned in the pool rules and regulations board published in the pool area. Food clearances are not cleared after repeated calls to room service and we are forced to keep outside the room, later on when we came out it is seen cat on the tray eating the left over. Overall a bad stay, good property, good ambiance, but mis managed with less supervision.

GS resort is just 3 km away from the Velankanni church.Its on the main road. Building construction is attractive and outside look and feel is good. But the rooms are very small inside and is conjusted.Nearby area is logged with dirty water and looks like a waste Dumping area and due to which there are a lot of mosquitoes and other bugs insid the room and on bed. Tv have only onelocal channels and is limited to 41 channels.

Had a day Stay with family. Clean room and tidy bathroom. Service was good. Food options are less but still very manageable. Must stay venu if with family n kids. Church is aprox 2.5 kms away. Value for money.
