This was a hands on class which is exactly what we wanted. We learned a lot about the processes of cooking authentic Indian food. The family is very friendly and inviting. We highly recommend this class. It’s also much cheaper then the other classes in the city. If you have something really want to learn request it and you will make it. This is a nice service as all other classes were set menus.The only thing I would recommend is that they provide a recipe book. I think understand this is hard for them because they don’t have a set means but if they had a book. with the basic recipes that would have been wonderful.

What a amazing experience!We chose the tradicional Rajasthan cooking class and we enjoyed it a lot!Is different than other cooking classes, cause here you are not only looking, youre preparing the food by yourself, so its more interesting.We had the food for dinner with the family and was really tasty!!We had a super nice evening :)Also the hostel is clean and cosy, and the family who run it is really friendly!!100% Recommend!!!

A cooking class with Durga and Dudi is a great experience. I spent a wonderfull afternoon in their kitchen. They teached me how to prepare my favorite dishes of the menu. And extra pakoda, chai, chapati, paratha and two types of rice. A big meal and very cheap 😃. After the cooking class I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the rooftop. Eating my food and talking with the family. Thanks for your knowledge and patience. 🥰

I would definitely recommend Durga cooking lessons!If you’re looking for a cooking lesson in Udaipur I would definitely recommend Durga cooking lesson at Black pepper guesthouse. Not only you’ll learn how to cook Indian food, but also you’ll have a great time in a really enjoying atmosphere. At the beginning of the lesson you can choose several dishes you want to cook. In our case pakoras, chutney, 2 types of curries, 2 types of Rices, Indian chai and several types of chapati (regular, twin, parantha...). And after that, you enjoy eating the food you’ve just prepared in their nice rooftop. Undoubtedly it worths the price!!!Thank you so much Durga and Dudi for this great time!
