Amazing View, Superb Location, friendly and humble staff.This place offers some extra ordinary views of Udaipur, facing the Udaipur city and on the back is Fateh Sagar lake.Our experience was truly exceptional and we extended our stay due to the unmatched hospitality of the staff.Its not just a hotel, it was a guest house for the Maharajas guests.It is a good sculpture in itself.Definately recommended. Food was awesome and it is next to the Lalit.

Very co operative staff. Good ambience of city view and fateh sagar lake. Nice to see the city in lights from such a height. Limited varieties of food available only against advance order. But tasty preparation. We enjoy two days stay.

Pros :- Rooms are overly spacious unlike other private hotels. Separate changing room. Staff is cooperative and happy to help. Food is good but you need to pre order as they prepare fresh meal. Location is best of all nearby hotels. Sunset and sunrise, both are great to watch. Unit Incharge is humble and great guide to explore the areas nearby.Cons :- No electric kettle. You need to call service every time for refill. Beds are good to sleep but need to have an upgrade.

It’s look good outside. Big building , nice territory around hotel, rooms with 100y.o. fen and light systems gives felling of 19 century. But maintenance is not well, so price and quality is not matching. Now some work is going on, maybe than it will be little better.

The location where it is situated is very beautiful.Staff is very cooperative . They listen and do the needful.Food is awesome 😋 , I love the cooking, palak paneer is on the next level. Amazing , very good experience.The problem with the facilities like old bedding system , old bathroom, dim lights are really annoying.Govt. Should upgrade the facilities.

The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean. The grounds are lovely. Theres a complimentary buffet breakfast. The room service could be a tad better and the rooms need a paintover.

Good, cheap and historical hotel to stay. Hotel is away from city pollution and crowd. Spacious room with carpet give you a feeling of ancient life style. Good and spacious washrooms. Breakfast is ok with limited options but a big no for lunch and dinner they served. Better you order from swiggy or zomato.

Nice property but have not maintained well . Staff is not professionally trained and rude . Its run by state government and they are least bothered about reputation of this place. Rooms arent properly ventilated and carpets are not cleaned .Property is at very good location . If taken care by any good Hotelier it can be best place in Udaipur .

Probably the best heritage hotel in Udaipur in a moderate budget. We stayed there for 3 days(26 Dec-29 Dec, 2019). It provides a spectacular glimpse of Udaipur city from the lawn in front of the hotel. Also, Lake Fateh Sagar can be seen from the campus. The manager took very good care of us. I really appreciate him! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back where whenever I plan to visit Udaipur in the days to come!

A lot more than expected.The recently painted and refurbished huge heritage building situated at a prime location very close to the beautiful FatehSagar Lake...Anand Bhawan,a RTDC unit was a recluse.The long corridors,colourful hanging lamps,the sprawling vibrant green lawn with huge trees all around and the glimpse of the mesmerising sunset over the pristine Fateh Sagar Lake from the balcony will remain in my memory for years to come.The manager,Mr.Arun,a perfect host,a nice friendly person left no stone unturned to make our stay in this hotel a comfortable one.Our Super delux room(no-125) on the first floor was the best in the whole hotel.The extra spacious room with an adjacent dressing room and a huge bathroom with all modern amenities was more than we could ask for such a price we paid.The best part of this corner room was the corner balcony from where one can view the Fateh Sagar Lake and imbibe in its calmness.The staffs were extremely polite and so was Mr.Arun.If you are a traveler in true sense and if you are travelling to Udaipur then Anand Bhawan is the ultimate stay.You may not get a wide varieties of breakfast or other added benefits which you may enjoy in other private hotels and resorts,but the magnanimity of this white colossal bhawan,the idyllic location adjacent to the lake and the complete silence of the entire area except the chirping of the birds will captivate your soul and you will feel bissful.

One of the best hotels i have ever seen. It gave me vintage hotel feeling. Staff is very humble. It will surely accommodate in your budget. And yes you will admire the view from the front garden and rear balcony. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good budget hotel in Udaipur.

Its safe but. , not up to mark as they charge tarriff----interior is poor , not provide basic amenities like beds not comfortable ,old blankets. Old television, furniture...... Not a heritage hotel fake........please improve

Location good but 100 year old heritage.

Price written on website is different than what they charge finally. I paid Rs. 8000 for 2 nights and finally at the counter during check out, the manager said that Rs. 8000 is your advance and including taxes, room price is Rs. 5010 per day. Simply not worth. My kids did not want to take bath after seeing the bathtub. No remotes in the room was working. We had to turn off the ac simply because we could not control the temp. Overall, worst part of our trip was staying at this hotel.

Worst hotel with worst service. Rate are too high. No proper lights installed. Tv not working properly. The least rating which an individual can give is 1star as it is mandatory. But this hotel deserve stars in negativeBook at your own risk.

Great location, flaunting majestic view of Lake Fateh Sagar, this RTDC property in Udaipur is a grand old style structure with loads of open space and with equal loads of well maintained greens abound. We’re upgraded to their best rooms with long and wide common veranda where we spent most of our time when we were not out! Fixtures and amenities within the rooms needs lots to make them as cool as the outdoors. One must visit fort Chittorgarh from here.

Best place for small parties, social events. Located on the hill opposite to swaroop sagar lake, it gives a tremendous view of udaipur city from above. It also well equipped rooms with attached bathrooms and a well spaced garden area for functions or parties.

Rajasthan tourism, Government of Rajasthan undertaken hotel cum palace. Rooms are very Spacious. Good view of the Fateh Sagar lake & pichola lake from balcony. You can view whole city from here, good place for staying here. But for foods you have to find some others solutions because they dont serve 24x7 and staffs are not very professional. But people are very helpful.

Pathatic experience. Very much expensive(4100rs including GST) but the facilities are very bad. I should say worst.Staff is very lethargic to work. Location of the property is on uphill where you dont get anything near by unless you take some vehicle. Staff took one and half hour to supply 3 parathas for dinner. Checkout process took almost 1 hour. Very bad experience in the trip and waste of time and money
