Pure hippie monk place. The owner is very warm and welcoming and the decor of the cafe is pure bohemian.best for french and Israeli. Food is hygenic and tastes good. And yes live music stole my heart.

It was great to visit the Cafe Monktree with MP, really nice place. I also had a great experience taking Sitar classes with MP, which Was something I always dreamed of! Really cool!!

I love this place. The guy who runs it, Naveen, makes you feel like his good friend or babu. It’s not about the price but about the company, hence being off the beaten track, not particularly advertised or marketed, but has a great vibe inside. The decoration is impeccable and really cool- I haven’t been anywhere like it this side of the lake. Good drinks, food, music and friends :) with a lovely lady downstairs who even knitted me out in a sari!
