I visited Udaipur in the month of April. I booked Jheel Guest House through . The actual rent was Rs., but i got discount from and need to pay only Rs.. The following are Pros and Cons:Pros:1. AC room at relatively low price.2. Pichhola lake is visible from window.3. Walking distance from three famous places in Udaipur namely City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Bagore Ki Hawali.4. The working staff is polite and caring.Cons:1. Quite far from Railway station and bus stand and you need to hire personal auto or car to reach hotel.2. Hotel is made in home itself, so no lift and small stairs even for second floor.3.No room service at all. If you need drinking water, they will ask you to take it from nearby hotel( at free of cost).4. Most disgusting was washroom, in which either no water or permanent leakage of water.

My favourite place to sit and sip on a Cup of coffee when in Udaipur! The cafe/guest house is located right on the banks of lake pichola and you can enjoy beautiful especially during sunset.Not only is the place serene, the coffee is great too and that makes its all the better. The food options are limited, but good and filling at the Cafe, but if youre looking for a nice Breakfast or Dinner, you can go to their Rooftop restaurant.This Guesthouse is also Decent for a very economical price.

Jheel is one of the best Lake facing cafes in Udaipur hands down. With its open rooftop ambience and beautiful locales, you get to have one of the best dining experience.Suggest visiting during the sunset time to enjoy the view and beautiful ambience.

Easy to find this place room was clean and comfortable bathroom was so cool in winter ,rooftop restaurant with beautiful lake view . You can walk to an attraction place by walk.

The place is good but as per my observation it is a bit overrated. No doubt the view is very good but theres no parking facilities and also the drinks and snacks offerred are of average quality and taste only. So if just want good pictures then u can go here but if you want good food then I will not recommend going here.

4 star for the location, one of the cheapest guesthouse in theis location, many of the tourist attraction are only 5min walking distance, average rooms, okok bathrooms, terrace view is good, allover good for the price you are paying

The only positive point about this hotel is the view you will get from the room provided you get Room No. 3, 5 or 7. Room No. 7 is the roof top room which is spacious and has the best view. You also get the terrace and can also enjoy the sunset view.Having said that, the hotel definitely needs to work upon the services and cleanliness to earn 5 starts

Such beautiful view. Exceedingly sweet staff. Seth Jee, the owner and his Son are so helpful. I went Udaipur for only one day but just because of the hospitality and view I extended my stay there.Keep going Jheel’s guest house, hotel and Cafe. 🤗😠🤗😀😀... surely I coming back to this place soon.

Place doesnt focus on room service as it is not the main source of income. Only focus area for them is their restaurant which infact is located at a very picturesque location of Lake Pichola and serves not cheap but tasty food.For guest House it is only 3 stars(being modest)

It has 2 buildings. 1 with the lake view is new building and deserves 4 stars. But I am giving 2 stars coz during online booking nowhere they mentioned about 2 buildings. We were family of 5 couples out of which 3 couples were senior citizens. And rooms were alloted in different buildings making it difficult for us to communicate. And even the service in old building was poor.

If you go Udaipur this is the only place to be. Its literally on the lake with a café below. Ive been Udaipur twice and stayed there. Per night cost ₹1,000 for a medium sized room plus ₹500 if youre bringing guests with you. Hot shower is available (just make sure you turn the geyeser on 30 mins before you shower). Towels provided. Clean place and friendly staff who are very accomodating. This is the only place I stay if Im on a budget trip.

Its a guest house...dont expect a hotel like service from this place...but the best part is the location..it gives a very scenic view from the room and even from the ground floor reception area...the cafe is also good and has tempting snacks, mocktails and hot drinks...overall, if u can ignore the service part then this guest house is a good stay..

Best hotel in udaipur.Jheel guest house is situated near Pichola lake.We r vry happy with owners cordial reception.Good view of lake pichola from ur room & balcony & restaurant. Good food quality for foreigners but disappointment for indian foods. All staffs are good.

The newly renovated and pretty devorated room was immaculate and extensive and even had a little balcony to have an overview over the old city. The owner of the Guest House is super friendly, relaxed and helpful. The highlight is definitely the breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. It is pretty, the food is tasty, the portions are large and the view is amazing!

Jheel guest house is a lake side hotel from where u can hve a great view of lake pichola. However pls keep in.mind dat they have 2 properties at same location. one is new which has lake side nd roof top resto another one opposite to it old property. i stayed in.the old property. it is budget hotel. rooms were clean but room service available. they have wifi facility. one can try coffee at there resto. overall okay experience

The photos of have been posted a completely false and untrue. Apparently the photos of Jheel Cafe I and not of the guest house. The guest house is a shady building locating next to lake Pichola. The only advantage is that it is located in a good area at Gangaur Ghat.

All the guest houses near lake pichola are overpriced. this is too. offline bookings give better bargains than online hotel bookings for udaipur.although location is excellent. easy access for all the tourist places.

This hotel is a big no from my side...they have two properties one is guest House and one is hotelin guest house page*no room service, infact no one pick up the callif you want to ask any thing, you have to go down from 3rd floor of guest house and then go to the other building of hotel and then again climb there 1st floorhot water supply is horribleit takes 20 min for hot water to startyou have to turn on the shower for atlist 20 min then hot water will start, till then your shower is wasting cold water....no managment, no cleaning of roomi would suggest you to book a dharamsala at the place of this

Nice room with a balcony.Arrogant manager welcomed us, he was not willing to show rooms before check in. Room had foul smell and had to request room freshner.bed spreads and pillow covers were not changed when we checked in.Overall very bad place to stay. Wouldnt have stayed there if not for the awesome lake view from the balcony right in the lake.

What else can you expect when you hear this from your hotel representative whenever you ask for anything Sir, we dont provide such service. DONT MAKE YOUR BIGGEST MISTAKE BY BOOKING THIS HOTEL. THIS HOTEL PROVIDES NO SERVICES TO THEIR NATIONAL/INDIAN CLIENTS AND THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN SERVING FOREIGNERS.... NO TELEPHONE IN THE ROOM AND YOUD HAVE TO WALK-DOWN FROM 3RD FLOOR FOR EVERY SINGLE NEED. NO BELL SYSTEM FOR ROOM SERVICE. EVENTUALLY THEY DONT PROVIDE ANY SORT OF ROOM SERVICE. NO PARKING FACILITY. LOCAL AUTO DRIVERS START YELLING AT YOU IF YOU BROUGHT YOUR VEHICLE NEAR THE HOTEL. NO PROPER ASSISTANCE TO GUESTS. SURPRISING TO MY KNOWLEDGE, NOBODY HAS ASKED ME TO DO ENTRY IN HOTEL REGISTER (WHICH IM NOT SURE IF THEY EVEN MAINTAIN IT OR NOT) AND DIDNT EVEN ASKED FOR MY PHOTO-ID. NO SERVICE AT ALL. THEY JUST GIVE YOU THE ROOM KEYS AND THEN YOU ARE ON LEFT ALONE UNTIL YOU CHECKOUT OF THE HOTEL. DO-NOT MEANS DO-NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND LOSE YOUR TEMPER BY HEARING USELESS EXCUSES FROM HOTEL REPRESENTATIVES FOR ANY ASSISTANCE THAT YOU SEEK. BETTER DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AND DONT SPOIL YOUR MOOD.

Standard AC room.. is not at all worth for this Jeel Guest house. My parents are staying here for 3rd floor of this guest room. There are only 6 standard AC rooms and all are having same conditions. Very very small room, with a double bed, pillars and beams coming your way, It hardly leave any space to keep your bag or even walk to go to washroom. No Room service, even for drinking water you need to step down and ask on reception and come back climbing 3rd floor again. Taps are damaged in washroom, no buckets and mugs, broken and not working shower. Untidy room and washroom including passage to room. ..

Excellent place to stay with a great view of the lake. 3rd floor rooms can hear upstairs cafe moving about. Hot shower and comfortable bed.

Close to Lake Pichola with such reasonable rate. Only draw back no room service. For real travellers rooms are for only spending few hours.

In front of gangor ghat..you can have a view of ambrai ghar as well from the rooftop..all the major attraction is very nearby..ac rooms..found comfortable in low budget😊

There are two buildings one is old where service is pathetic and have budget rooms whereas new building nearby is adjacent to the lake and have big rooms. Location of guest House is good but service is not so good. If one wants to stay in budget hotel then its ok.

For a superb view of the lake and a laid-back & soulful vacay/tour of Udaipur, it is definitely a superb place to chill & have the best wood-fired pizza a place can have.

Its Amazing admirable place . View of City Palace , Pichhola Lake are fabulous. Coffee the Italian Espresso very Yummi with real test and beautiful view .

It is a full lake view guest house with beautiful ( roof top + lake view) cafe upstairs and also (lake side) cafe downstairs. And the accommodation part is in the mid.

Here are two part one new Jheel guest house & one old, mere sath inohne cheating kiya or old guest house mai rukhwaya, **, jabki jo nhi jantha unne old guest house mai, so please all take care before booking. Hotel location is too good, but hotel owner is not good compare to hotel.

The place is approx a three storey building at lake Pichhola, the staff is amazing but the only drawback is it closes near about 8.00 pm which is too early for any tourist to visit there. location is awesome and food is also tasty.

This is a guest house. Rooms with balcony preferable. View of the Lake Palace. I was there for the second time, so I took a teapot with me. In the room there is no kettle, no fridge, but cozy, not expensive, and a good view of Lake Pichöla. On the ground floor there is a pretty decent coffee house (not cheap). On Booking this hotel is not, I booked through Agoda.

I booked the room for two days because I liked the room. The other room was old, smelled and had little view, but I eventually moved on.And the next day I left Udaipur. I feel good. It is the place where the owner of the Changsha is breaking the promise to small profits.
