One of the best places in India to visit over weekend. Calm waters, serene hillocks, but limited food options. Boat rides to and fro are amazing and comfortable, but insist on wearing life jackets for your own safety.

Lovely location, good scenic beauty and environment friendlyProperty is not much maintained as compared to a five star resorts also it does not have much amenities like Firdge in room, almirah has no sections etc.Google maps has a different location for the property. You have to search Jaisamand Island jetty to go to the exact location.The worst thing of this resort is that they have a swimming pool which is around 10ft deep, if someone dive thinking like a normal pool then it will be difficult for them if dont know proper swimmingAlso staff is not much cooperative. Food of buffet is very costly and not worth as they hardly have any variety in buffet.Consider this resort only if you are nature lover.

We three families, were booked a suite villa with a private swimming pool but when we entered the room, the room and also the balcony was not clean properly and also the pool was not clean and not ready for swim, dust and insects were in the pool. The food was not tasty and the room service was not good.The location is nice but does not suggest it to anyone.

Near to udaipur...you have to come at jaisamand jetty by car or any other means then a man from the resort will be there...he will guide you to take boat ride to reach resort and it is totally free...there is no other way to reach resort except boat ride..in return a boat will be there to drop you at jetty where you have parked the car...car parking is safe..

We stayed here for 2N3D in semi private pool villa.Things we liked1. Location is most amazing, every room has lake view.2. Resort itself is very beautiful and on remote island, monsoon might be the best time to visit.3. Great place for privacy, staff and service is good but not the best.4. Rooms and bathroom are spacious and tidy.5. If you don’t like the buffet food, you can make special request and they will make items you like for free.6. Suitable for couples, groups and families (not suitable for Senior citizens)Things we didn’t like :1. Food taste is not consistent. The first day lunch was good but the dinner was equally bad2. The management does not have full control on the staff. Most of the staff was polite but we got some stupid comments from staff like when ordering from room service, they said “Sab ek bar me order kijiye” and we had ordered only twice.3. Another stupid comment we recieved was from Buffet waiter, when cleaning our table he said “Kitna food waste kiya”. Its not reasonable to hear such things when your are paying so much money on a resort.4. Dining should be 24 hours as if you are travelling with babies you need it.5. The car parking is spacious but it is a public sightseeing location, so it will be crowdy and it will be confusing to find the hotel staff to take your luggage to boat.6. Too many stairs from car parking to boat and boat to reception area. Not at all suitable for senior citizens.7. Make sure to carry a mosquito spray as you will surely need it at night.8. Despite having so much space in rooms, there is no mirror, there is one in bathroom.9. Bar is small and not so attractive. For such an amazing island property, the bar should be bigger with attractions like LCD and music and bigger liquor menu. Visitors from outside of India will expect such bar as they wont know to bring liquor from local theka before coming to the resort. There is plenty of space so make a larger bar and a disco if possible (Like Ananta). That will definitely attract more visitors.All in all, highly suitable for Families, honeymooners and people looking for total privacy. We love to travel abroad, but due to pandemic no one car. This resort definitely filled up the void.

I visited the Jaisamand Island resort with my family. Located just around 40 Km from Udaipur city; It is a perfect place for weekend getaway.Ample amount of car parking space is available and a hotel ferry would take you from the parking area to the resort.Amazing resort with great facilities and breathtaking views. The resort is surrounded by lake water to a very long stretch that you can only see water and other small hilly islands from the hotel. This view becomes even more mesmerizing with sunrise and sunset. This splendid lakescape can be viewed from each room.Top notch hospitality, helpful and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time.I specially thank Mr. Suneet who took care of everything and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Everything is priced 5x to 6x. For example, they sell 20rs Soda bottle for 150rs +18% GST40rs Sprite @ 200rs +18% GST even the MRP on the product was itself 20rs.Food quality is below average. Youll find better food than this place at highway Dhabas. Also very limited variety of food with skyrocketing prices. Property is also not well maintained. Rooms look like they were built years ago. Whole property is flooded by insects and reptiles. You will see lizards everywhere.

Place is quite interesting,privacy is also good .cleanliness had been very poor ,millions of mosquitoes were at the place of seating area and allover the hotel,if you went from udaipur then google location can manipulate your way by giving wrong instructions. Hotels staff and service were very poor,breakfast is not money worthy like its been at other hotel with these budgets .No phone instructions were done by hotel when we told him about wrong directions provided by Google.Overall very bad experience regarding directions, staying experience, food,cleanliness...If you want to book it then please have to know about location property. Have ti carry mosquitoes cream , and have extra pair of clothes

Resort on an island, Wow, you get a ferry to reach the island. The resort is huge but not maintained properly,A lot of scope for improvement is there, you get awesome views from the balcony and terrace. Perfect for sunset. The breakfast provided was just ok and lags variety. But an ultimate experience if you want to enjoy an island resort.

FOR VIEWS AND SERVICE 4.5 STARS BUT FOR CLEANLINESS 2 STARS .On 1st February 2021 we started our stay and we checked the room but the washroom smelled horrible there was pee on the floor and toffee in one of the electric kettle , we asked them to wet clean the entire room especially the toilet , WORTH VISITING but please check the room first for cleanliness , the food was good and staff is nice , complied to all things

What a beautiful island resort. This resort is located in the middle of Jaisamand lake , you reach here by boat , it took approz 20 min to reach there. We had booked suite, having lake facing rooms . You can also book villa which is just ₹1000 more than suite. Our stau was for 3days 2 night. Breakfast lunch and dinner was included in oyr package. The food was damn delicious with varieties of items. We enjoyed row boating , camel ride, pool and jacuuzi . All were included in our package. We also enjoyed tea and veg pakodas near lake .

Recuperation at its best. Just go there and forget the world. As you sink in the lap of nature, brain destress happens and regain the lost energy!

Jaisamand island resort has an exquisite advantage of its serene location! The ferry ride to and from the resort is peaceful and breathtaking. The resort its self is well maintained with a cordial team to keep it running. Despite of the location being quite off route for it to be a popular tourist spot, it creates a perfect getaway for anyone looking for a quality vacation with their loved ones. For entertainment the resort keeps you company providing swimming pools, outdoor and indoor games, sauna steam bath, camel rides as well as boating rides around the lake! All in all we were searching for some thing off beat and less crowded and this resort provided us with just that. To place a cherry on the top we enjoyed some scrumptious meals which urged us to compliment the chef time and again!

This is really a great place to relax and rejuvenate. You can spent your initial day exploring the place as it is a huge property. Also you can enjoy swimming, Sauna, jacuzzi, camel ride, row boating, and club facilities like table tennis, badminton, carrom, etc. Best part is having a complete package including all three meals. You can also spent a day for jungle safari. The only con is their WiFi doesnt work properly so it makes a little difficult to work from here but Airtel works really well here and I didnt face any connectivity issues because of it. Overall, I will say a must visit place and spent atleast 2-3 days.

Unhygienic and poor service. No cleanliness at all, no proper wifi or limited. No proper food or less quantity/dishes for a buffet which costs more than a 7star hotel. We were given a room with toilet seat with pee and bathroom with hair, uncleaned during this covid19. When we wanted to cut short the stay, they wanted full money for all 3 nights. Dont fall for outside beauty looks

Over priced buffet lunch.

This hotel property has about 50 rooms, including 14 Villa rooms, 14 deluxe rooms, and a suite room. One has to take an enjoyable boat ride of about 30 minutes to reach the hotel. The scenic beauty of the huge lake with a few islands of greenery is a great sight from the property. The rooms are well equipped. The Resort has a well stocked bar, and a restaurant that serves the choicest Rajasthani cuisine. There is a swimming pool, and a lawn on the roof. Aside from the resident guests, the property also entertains tourists who would like to visit the hotel like we did. They charge around INR 500 for return boat ride and a tour of the Resort. The tariff for a whole day long tour is INR 2500 that includes return boat ride, tour of the property, breakfast, lunch, and high tea in the evening before return.The staff are well trained and courteous. Mr Dayaram, who showed us around was very well informed and extremely courteous.

Beautiful place, very calm, no voice nd air polution

If you are planning to make a trip to Rajasthan, especially Udaipur, just take a break and visit this place. This is a resort which is completely developed on an island with 3.5km boat ride from the land. The property is well built and maintained and and just right for you if you are planning a vacation doing nothing. You will not get bored here as they have delicious food served daily, as well as facilities for indoor and outdoor games. I would personally suggest that you take time to visit this place off-season to enjoy the calmness to the fullest. Yes, it has to be mentioned that you will have to ride for around 40km away from the highway to reach this place. then again, it is worth your efforts. Amazing food and hospitality. Had a brilliant stay here, nice property on the picturesque jaisamand lake, quaint and serene surroundings, we chose to stay in the villa with small pvt pool, the staff is courteous, polite and very helpful...boat ride was awesome, worth the view of the lake and surrounding hills and cenotaps.The view from our villa was breath takingIf for the nit picking would like to point out some minor flaws.1.rooms could have been better furnished, we missed a tall dresser mirror,light system is mordern yet tricky, refrigerator was not in a good state2.doorbell not working3.food was good during the buffets, but had limited options for the price we paid, no live counters or other fancy things4.wi-fi not available in villas, and no mobile network in the villa made it difficult to stay connected.Rest the stay was perfect...do visit for a refreshing weekend while in udaipur

Heaven on earth

We have been to this place to spend long awaited vacation with my 1 year old. I must admit that place is excellent completely surrounded by nature and very warm people. Its not a 5 star experience that you can get here as some people would have expected but every individual on this island will help to make your stay memorable. Special mention a out their chef Mr. Om for catering all special requests of food for my daughter. There were 9 meals that we had during our stay and every single meal was delicious and hygienic.Free boat ride and camel ride were most favourite for my daughter. And one should not miss evening snacks by pool and DJ party at night.Special thanks to Ms. Mary for taking our situation into consideration for change and big thanks to entire hotel staff for making this stay memorable.

Location is awesome. Hotel has good amenities and room is very good. Food quality is good. Over all must visit resort.Note: dont drive to resort via Parsad-chawand road because road condition is very very bad. Take Udaipur-Banswara highway to reach resort.

The resort is worth a visit, different experience when you arrive on an island hotel in a boat. If you want some peace and a break from the rush, this is the place. Well appointed rooms. Amenities are good, pool could have been better maintained. No separate area for kids to play in the pool. Food is OK. Service in the restaurant wasnt upto the mark. The camel ride - personally I feel the animals cleanliness & hygiene wasnt upto the mark. Overall a different experience, ideally when you visit this place in a group it is more fun. Something worth experiencing.REMEMBER TO TAKE THE ROAD VIA UDAIPUR & NOT PARSAD (its a poorly maintained single track road)
