The place is beautiful owning to the budget and lake view rooms. theres this guy Manish who is super helpful. even Abhishek as a helper is good enough. I would recommend for people who are looking for a place where they dont stay but mostly go out and enjoy. this place is very homely. trust me these guys wont make you feel your an outsider. the 1-star deduction is due to the cold behavior of the manager/owner. he doesnt seem much welcoming. apart from this you need to ask for the services like everyday cleaning of room or may be a heater for that reason. but then its a great place at such low prices. plus the lake view is terrific. even their food was yummy. trust me the taste at this place wont let you down. if asked to me If I get a chance to get back to Udaipur m surly gonna hunt this place at least to the point where the good staff Is a part of their hotel.

Hotel is decent. Not a haveli though, Thats the biggest scam. Rooms are ok, We had the lake view room but the price they are charging are not worth it. Our room doesnt had basic amenities like water, soap and their phones doesnt works, so you have to reception to ask for anything. And you will not find anybody their. Rooms are not clean as well. Breakfast are not buffet.They will charge you for extra. I had pay for an omellet because i ordered one extra. And they have only 3-4 options for breakfast. Will definitely not recommend this hotel(Not a Haveli) to anyone. There are other better options available.

It was good stay. Big room, clean and well furnitured, with nice view on lake. Faced few problems- from 8 lights 6 was just for decoration, and toilet 🚽 flash was not proper working, water was always flowing, and to stop it u had to now hot to press it properly 🙂

It is located inside the old city having no accessibility to 4 wheelers during normal hours. Room i got was pretty big with queen bed, a lake view sitting area a d bathroom. It was an awesome experience staying at Hotel Thamla Haveli. Very nice hotel & staff behaviour is really good. Youll find entire lake from the room itself (Lake Facing Deluxe on Top Floor). You can even spend time by watching the entire lake from the room itself (Morning, Evening & Night - 3 different scenario youll feel). Its just opposite to the city palace, therefore youll have magnificent night view of the palace from your hotel room. I travelled with my 1 year kid and all the hotel staff really treated us like their relatives. They even prepared food for my baby, as directed (including hot water for milk at night) to them. Its absolutely value for money. Well-lighted city palace & reflection of lights over lake, An awesome night view from room / balcony / roof top restaurant -- Enjoy with a must have chicken sizzlers. Youll find quality food here with reasonable price. They really cook non-veg very well. Order for any baked items & its finger licking -- Candle light dinner facility is available. It was ever enjoyable memory for us ... last but not the least, 3 romantic nights together, well never forget :)

One of the best hotel to stay and in budget. The best part is everything you need or plan to visit in old Udaiur is near by and sometimes in a walking distance.Another best part is view of lake and all places near that. Try to get room with lake view, they have both.Food is good but make sure to ask what is available and how much time will it take. They have a small kitchen and as they said everything in menu can be ordered. Make sure to repeat order once as we was served Non-Veg Manchurian instead of Veg.The location is just opposite side of Bagore Ki Haveli Museum on lake.If you are driving then it will be very very much difficult as the road towards hotel is too narrow and full of traffic. The another good part of this hotel is they have a parking area away from hotel and just almost before the narrow road starts.

Stayed at this heritage hotel for 2 days with family consisting of four members during December 2017. The room (lake view) provided to us was awesome compared to the cost in other nearby hotels. Enjoyed a lot in this hotel which gave good glimpse of quite pichola lake and other havelies located just opposite the banks of the lake. Especially, the night view (with colourful lights adorning the small bridges and havelies) was exceptional. The staff (especially Mr.Nathan) were courteous and very helpful. The vegetarian food offered was equally good. Though located in a narrow lane (all the hotels in this area do not have parking space for guests vehicles), inside the hotel, the rooms are aesthetically placed. Udaipurs Best Budget Hotel. Have a nice lake view. The view of the City Palace looks nice. There is also a terrace restaurant. Parking is difficult, but the hotel staff manage to manage. The best option to get here is auto rickshaw.

We stayed here in September and loved it. The hotel is really well located, we could walk everywhere. While the room we had was furnished simply, it had lovely views was very clean, quiet and perfectly comfortable. All the staff we interacted with were absolutely delightful, they couldnt have been more helpful or given us better advice and all seemed to really enjoy their jobs.The view from the rooftop terrace is magical and the food delicious, inexpensive and served with smiles and charm, and best budget hotels in udaipur and nice view of lake.

After several bad experiences in India, we were delighted to have found such a lovely place to stay! The owners were extremely friendly and gave us excellent advice on what to do. Hi all, Me, My family and 2 friends was on a tour in Vadodara and we planned a quick trip to Udaipur in March 2014. We took a travels night bus and reached Udaipur early morning. We came to know about Hotel Thamla Haveli- Budget Hotel Udaipur based on the rating in TripAdvisor or Google ranking and their rates were also affordable. But Hotel Thamla Haveli surprised us! The entrance is a small gate which wont give you a look of hotel, but they have really nice spacious lake view rooms, normal rooms, and a nice rooftop restaurant which gives a beautiful view of Lake Pichola and Udaipur City Palace (Night view is awesome). The food was really great! The hotel arranged us 2 rickshaws (@Rs.500 per rickshaw per day) for sight seeing (Tip: Make sure that you prepare your own list of places to visit in Udaipur and ask the drivers to take you there). We would like to thank Mr. Ranjeet (Manager) and the Staffs for giving us excellent service. The stay is good if you have a low budget. Theres a nice view of Pichola lake from some of the rooms and rooftop restaurant. However, the rooms felt quit scary because of being closed with only small windows. The staff is slow inn action. Also, four wheeler vehicles are not allowed to the hotel so it youd need to walk some distance to get your cab.

I stayed Hotel Thamla Haveli Udaipur, Budget Hotels Udaipur here with my family (4 of us). The rooms were large and well kept. For the price, it was a great place to stay- right on the lake. Take a lake facing room. Everything was in place, working fine. I found the staff little laid back but very sweet, friendly and helpful. Mr Sanjay was extremely helpful and nice to talk to. It was a pleasure staying here, surrounded by best hotels/restaurants like ambrai, leela palace, uday kothi, upre...so the locality is great and so is the proximity to city sightseeing points. We hired a car and went to see kumbalgarh (beautiful) and chittorgarh (in ruins, but historically significant) and nearby temples.

Like they say, its a budget hotel. Go for the rooms with a lake view only, even if its a bit more expensive. Seriously, do not take the normal rooms which are cheaper, it doesnt have any ventilation (even for the toilet!), youll regret it. If you go for the lake view rooms on the first or second floor, its awesome, really. It faces the Pichola lake, and the view at night is superb. These rooms have a jutting space overlooking the lake which is great place to chill and read.They have a restaurant too, food tastes great.

Visiting soon for the 4th time in a span of time. I often go to Shreenathji (Nathdwara) and in return I dont miss chance to spend quality time in this beautiful Udaipur city. Hotel is at the banks of the Famous Lake Pichhola. Its budget hotel with a great view and a great food. Choose Lake view room(check availability first) as standard rooms are not upto the mark. You will experience peace here if you are living in Metros and want to escape from daily tortures. And if you are looking for luxury services like spa, jacuzzi, garden and all other stuffs you should opt out for Trident or Udai Vilas.

Hello people,We stayed in thamla haveli for 2 days in the month of March 2017. We were luking for a budgeted hotel in the old udaipur area. We found this haveli with a good deal. The photo of the room we booked was diff and wat we were given was different. The room was really small and it was in the terrace. Right in front of the room was the restaurent where people were present for either lunch/dinner/brkfast. It was so noisy and disturbing for us. So these such people prove that though u get good deal but u cant get a good room with a gud deal.

I love my stay at this place. The staff is very generous and all the tourist attractions is nearby. In the night you can enjoy the splendid view of the city from the rooftop while sipping your tea.

Lake view room is wonderful. Terrace has a small open as well as a small enclosed eating area. We had a nice experience of staying.
