We were looking for a place to play board games and we found someone much more than that. The place feels very cozy and homey, starting by the fact you have to remove your shoes. They have a wide variety of teas as well as some food. Table wise, you will find some classic table, as well as intimate cubicle with a lot of pillows and carpet, get one of those if free :). Overall a really good experience, Ill definitely come back there to try more teas and food. If you havent you should definitely check this place out, you will be catapulted into a story tale place.

I like this place, they make you take your shoes off when you enter just like one of my friends does when I enter his house. The games here are good and the atmosphere is nice, I feel like the regulars here have a really nice community. This is not a place to go for food, but rather for company and for fun games.

The lovely and beautiful Hannah and Mark own this serene tea house in the city. The best hidden gem Ive ever been to. Lavender tea is always my go-to and then whatever new daily soup and special that Hannah (or Mark) has cooked up that day! 💛 Positive energies radiate from this place, Torontos little public living room. (When you walk in, look right and youll see my boyfriends rad photography displayed on the wall!!!! 😎👉👉)

I love coming here to have a pot of tea and to study! From the outside, Bampot is unsuspecting, but it’s actually a massive yet cozy tea house inside. The ambiance is great and there’s so much space to work. I especially love the nook at the back of the store. Sometimes it can get a bit noisy, because people can play board games here too, but it has never been an issue for me.

I really like this place. They have an incredibly comprehensive collection of teas and can even mix different herbs/ingredients to create a totally unique blend for your personal preference. As a huge tea lover, I really appreciate this touch. The atmosphere itself is lovely. You can always find a spot to sit that feels very cozy and relatively secluded, which I like, whether it’s for you to be alone and do some work, or meet up with friends. They also have pretty nice desserts, depending on the day. I had a great vegan cheesecake there the other time and loved it. Staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Bohemian tea house. When you step inside its like entering a different world. Cozy, warm, relaxing place with art all over the walls. There are lots of nooks with comfy chairs, sofas, and pillows. Shoes are removed at the door and slippers are available in a basket. They offer a different soup or stew daily, usually vegan, and they also have deserts, games to play, and sometimes live music but you come here for the tea. A whole menu of teas are available and they are delicious.

The perfect hangout spot for hippies at heart. Inspired by the bohemian tea houses of Prague, the decor is wonderfully colourful and eccentric. Theres beautiful rugs and art everywhere. You have to take your shoes off at the door which really makes you feel like youre entering someones welcoming home, or a public living room. Lots of cozy nooks to sit in full of pillows, as well as couches and chairs. Theres a more private area in the very back thats great for studying or working on your laptop. If you go with your friends, theres a variety of board games and cards to play. As for the food and drink, they have a huge selection of teas with cute mystical names and mostly vegetarian/vegan food. Theres such a warm community here that really makes it a sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle of city life. Every Torontonian (and not) needs to visit here!

I might be dead by then though.they have board games, musical instruments, tarot cards. their seatings are unique and yet all are comfy. The Staff are lovely and welcoming. The price is worth it.I am very glad they survived covid19 because it is one of my favorite spots in Toronto.also their olives are unreal.

Sort of a one-of-a-kind place that you need to visit at least once if youre a Toronto resident. With a great selection of teas served as they would be in their region of origin, the teahouse is a great place to lounge on the cushion filled sofas, play board games with your friends or just talk with a warm cup of tea with your hand. The psychedelic art work and music is a bit weird but that sort of gives the place its unique atmosphere.

Amazing visit with a good friend of mine. A heartwarming and homy feel considering there is an shelf to leave your shoes at the door as well as a very cleanly venue. Large selection of board games, great service and a very wide variety of teas to choose from. Such a nice and special place. Bohemian vibe, relax and with that touch that everything will be okay 😉We tried the Chai Latte tea... it was heavenly delicious! Ordered the High Tea plate, everything delicious, including the pizza! The only thing I didnt like was that I wanted another pizza and it doesnt come as a single plate, so if you want to repeat the pizza, youll need to buy another High Tea plate 🙄You need to take off the shoes, some people are comfortable with that, others not too much.Other reviewers have brought up the place might look like dirty, but I think is a lightning thing. In my visit it wasnt dirty even though was winter. No parking. You need to park at the street.Definitely will come back!

If I lived closer, Id be a regular. As a student, I used to come here all the time to study or relax (or both)! Now, its my favourite place to meet old friends and sip some tea. Their tea selection and quality, their soups, and their cakes are nothing short of amazing and Im always pleasantly surprised at how they somehow find you to take your order, even if youre nuzzled in the coziest little corner. And dont get me started on the atmosphere - lets just say, the name suits the place; its an eclectic little house in the middle of downtown and you are instantly put at ease as soon as you enter the door, the tiny bell rings, and you take off your shoes. Never EVER disappointed when I come here, and Im so happy to see their business thrive.

I visited this place because of the commatea, Comedy in a tea house. The Bampot is just great. You have to take your shoes out at the entrance which I liked as it gives you a special kind of feeling. The negative stuff: This place needs to be vacuumed and cleaned. Good luck finding a place to sit. The no shoes policy is cringe-worthy. The food is mediocre. The service is horrible. The positive stuff: There are so many great tea options. The environment is super cozy and intimate.Constructively speaking, if this place cleaned up, there was more effort put into the menu and the service was friendlier, it could be a 5/5 teahouse. Till then.. :S

Its all in the name. This is a cozy house (thats bigger on the inside) with a decidedly bohemian theme and atmosphere, providing a vast selection of specialty teas, along with some snacks and daily vegan meal specials. Much of the seating consists of small pillow lounges (tucked into alcoves) and couches. It will be difficult to find seating during busy times. A decent selection of board games is available. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, and my one pot of tea. I sat at a table but I quickly realized the table was sticky and COVERED in ants. I had to keep swiping them away/off of me, and thats the reason I decided against purchasing food. Its such a shame that hygiene doesnt appear to be a priority for them. The bathroom smelt of urine and was unclean and from what I saw the bed areas are covered in hair and dust. Maybe you dont mind a bit of hair and dust, but keep in mind thats a paradise breading ground for bedbugs, and they can latch onto clothing... be careful.I really hope the staff/management take better care of this place. It has so much potential but hygiene is critical and needs to be standard.

Can be slightly loud depending on who’s around. Can also get very clique-y but it’s the coziest and most comfy place I’ve been to in Toronto. It’s a nice business and I appreciate the idea behind it. The tea selection is great and very yummy and the food is excellent as well! It’s accessible to those on a budget with a lower income bracket so I support places of the kind. Better to give your money to this business than David’s Tea for example where the ingredients sometimes include “natural flavors.”

Came in based on the reviews, but may have caught them on an off night. It was enough for myself and my party to be off-put the rest of the evening.Tea selection is vast and interesting. You get a pot of tea and many cozy corners to be with company. Quaint kettles and drink ware. A pot of tea is about $5.Large selection of games that is organized. Cover for games is $5.The patrons and atmosphere of the place is really unique. Cozy, comfortable, perfect for company or winding down. A respectful and chill crowd. I love the neighbourhood and would have loved this place save for my experience with the staff. Staff were unable to answer calls for a reservation because they were busy attending to another party; there wasnt anyone to greet my party when we entered; we had to seat ourselves and oriented ourselves to the games selection. We were met with aggression and unwelcome vibes from the staff when we were told we had transgressed on the establishment rules that we did not know. We tried to be courteous and respectful in righting the issues but I felt myself and my party were wholly disrespected by the staff. Service was adequate the rest of the evening but the first impression soured the experience. Unfortunately would not come again.
