For cheese lovers out there, definitely try out the cheese ring. The hot pot keeps the cheese soft and gooey, like a Korean version of cheese fondue. For appetizers, you can’t go wrong with their finger licking good chicken wings. Good variety of buffet items, friendly and attentive service, convenient location, all at an attractive price point!
Very good service and very enthusiastic staff. This is my first time having tteok-bokki. I was so spoilt for choices with the huge array of rice cakes and fish balls. My favorite was the fish cake. You can eat it by itself or cook it in the soup. The staff was very enthusiastic and assisted me to order all my foods. She gave me suggestions too. And ensured that I did not over order, hence reducing wastage. The restaurant should have more of such staff as she was probably the only enthusiastic staff in the restaurant. I did not manage the catch the staff’s name though. :( she also helped to cook the kimchi fried rice for us after we were finished with the soup. The rice was very delicious and good ending to the meal. Too bad the restaurant doesn’t serve Korean barley tea as one of the drinks.
Authenthic Korean Tteokbokki Buffet At Suntec City where even the furniture and fixtures are imported from Korea. 2nd outlet at Jcube.Extremely great value deal at $18.80 - eat all you want, end to end (from drinks to desserts!)Meats are from certified sources (as informed by staff ) as such am able to invite my friends of all races! (Check out pix)Service crew is efficient as well.Love 💘 the cheese ring that offers melted cheeses....super cool!Great place for the old and young too (at the end, bingsu ice cream is offered too - for dinner service) But my favourite has to be the welcoming drumlets!OMG! So niceeeee! Comes with various marinades.Only tip here is to avoid lunch or dinner crowds as the queue can be quite long.Either go earlier like 1130hrs when they open or from 2 to 5.30pmThe 90mins also seems to stretch longer because you dont see the queue.🤣Since now we cant travel yet to Seoul...Best place to get the feel!Go try!!!

Her Explanations & Recommendations Are Wonderful... I Wanted To Say A Very Big Thank You For Your Excellent Services To Her Here Too & Will Definitely Be Back Again ... 🥰🥰🥰 Keep Up e Good Attitude!!! And... Ive Held Back e Last Star Given Bcoz I Do Think e Other Staffs Should Have e Same Enthusiasm She Has As Well...
Such a great experience to dine with them. The food is great and very reasonable. The staff were excellent and super friendly! Highly recommended and looking forward to come back again. ☺️☺️☺️
This place provides the best customer service ever I experienced in Singapore! All the crews are sincere, attentive, friendly and helpful, credit to James especially. He is super warm, caring and his service is going extra mile. I would recommend my friends over to this lovely place. Fresh Food was served and price is affordable.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! They will explain the right way to eat Korean hotpot and will chitchat with us! Even when we are full the staff will also ask us to try the fried rice, and it’s SURPRISINGLY TASTE SO GOOD!!! Definitely will come back again!!!
I really love this place, firstly the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, especially during times like this, theyve done the social distancing well, as well as provide guidance about how to order. Next, the food is really authentic and yummy, I really like how customisable the experience is. I especially like the cheese ring as it elevates the entire meal. Lastly, its really affordable for the food that you get, with such great variety. I often visit them whenever I am in the area!
My go to place when I’m craving tteokkbokki. I love the fried seaweed rolls and sweet potato and chicken (which is usually so pricey a la carte at other places), and my favourite combo is half cream sauce and half dookki sauce for a rose mix. Lots of great ingredients, but wish they would bring back the flat sweet potato noodles! Service is a hit or miss depending on who is waiting on you, but the new electronic system seems to work pretty well.
Its cheap but nice! Didnt disappoint me despite its my first try. Staff is friendly and attentive. Love the tteobokki buffet here! The fried chicken is good too!
The foods were nice and you can choose the spiciness of your soup base. Despite not much choice in terms of the ingredients and side dishes however it is totally worth for the all day $18.80+ buffet price. There are two ways of having it, the first way was the stew hot pots in which you put all the raw ingredients to cook and enjoy it. The second way is after the stew, they will use the remaining soup based (delicious bits) to make a Kim chi fried rice for you (you can choose what to add into your fried rice too). Yummy! Kudos to the staff for the amazing services and I enjoyed the visit despite it is still under the covid period. Recommend to try if you fancy Korean rice cake and fish cakes.
Very helpful staff, due to safe distancing measures no more self help counter but staff will bring the order to you. However selection has decreased as compared to pre covid e.g. no more mussels, normal fried chicken or korean spicy fried chicken. Choice of one drink per table only. Overall value for money and highly customisable. Must try their cheese tteokbokki my favourite! Students entitled to $1 off. Recommended to try.
We enjoyed the buffet lunch very much. Excellent food, and excellent customer service 🥰 Kudos to the team, thank you❤ We will be back❣
Pleasant dining!Cheap and nice food!!! I have become regular customer and will go for lunch/dinner at least twice a month!Staffs are friendly and helpful, Veron is very helpful too👍
Must try this korean buffet 🍲🥗!🥰Food superb nice , and the staffs very friendly ☺️😄
Variety wise was ok or below average if you compare that to other korean bbq buffet style restaurants, but most of the food were ok but nothing to shout about. But if you have a craving for korean food and wanted buffet style that is budget friendly then probably this is the place for you. I would definitely skip the cheese add on as I dont think it add much to the other food other than eating it with the tteokbokki..
Excellent food and the service is really good especially Patrick and Veron are really helpful.Kudos to the team!!🤘
Nice food and good service as well. Highly recommended.
Super worth it. Good service!! Wil definitely go there again.
Dookki serves amazing food. Everything from the soup, to the cheese ring and even the vegetables, it was all delectable and I would strongly recommend it to everyone. My personal favourite dish was the kimmari, followed by the kimchi fried rice that rounded off the meal.
Went there for lunch. Very good service and the cheese ring was super yummy.
Would say that my experience was worth it. Can customize your sauce so we ordered mild as our sauce and i think that it was just right! it is 18.80 per person and adding $9.80 for a cheese tray. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Ask for bibs if you’re afraid that you might stain your clothes while eating. They also have Korean Bingsu as Dessert. I guess what is limited is only the fact that they only have two options for chicken meat.Would still come back though, its super filling!
The people here were so nice~ thank you for the good experience!
Good food! Very good service as well
Unpleasant dining experience! We were having our Dooki buffet at Suntec city yesterday but really disappointed and I think wouldnt visit again. The staff didnt inform us the place to put our food residue and trash when we enter the restaurant. When we ordered for the second round, staff only told us the place to put our trash and seems like questioning us why we put the trash at the used empty plate. When we started our second round for food cooking, the staff didnt serve us all the food we requested which indicated on our order form and start rush us that our time left 15 minutes and we actually come in around 7.50pm which less than the limited time 90 minutes. We also understand that the restaurant might need to close soon around 10pm and they actually could just told us the fact that they were closing soon but they didnt. They just rush us that only left 15 minutes to cook and eat and said that there will be fine penalty if cant finish all the food with bad attitude.
Bigger donki but queuing for payment is not right as people tend to cut queue by just walking past to see things infront
Good service and good despite safe distancing measures.
The server Julie is fantastic super friendly service
One of our favourite buffet! Very unique ddeokbokki buffet with a lot of ddeok. The chewiness and taste are so good! You will not regret it. A lot of variety of side dishes to mix into your soup! The spices are good as well.Try the fishcakes! They real nice too.But we dont really like the cheese. Its not melted and its just not worth it.After the whole first round, you can cook your own fried rice on the pot.
Authentic korean style tteokboki buffet. Value for money
The sanitary standards of the restaurant was disgusting. I was very shocked to know that they have compiled all the dishes (vegetables, raw chicken etc) in one big bowl without separating it in different bowls.Another incident that happened left me extremely disgusted was upon asking for a refill of fried chicken, the staff took the plate that had our trash and bones, threw our trash away only to reuse the same plate to get more cooked food for us.....I sincerely hope the restaurant will uphold themselves to better hygiene standards.
$18.80++ per adult; $10.80++ per child, time limit of 90minutes, i think its really worth considering its a rice cake buffet. As the name suggests, theres a wide variety of choices of rice cakes, so if ure thinking of a meat buffet then this isnt the place to be.However, the food is excellent and provides a fresh taste to korean food with your own DIY sauce with recommendations given! At the end the staff would also guide you to do your own fried rice, but this would only happen if you finish your steamboat first as the remaining stock left would be used as a base stock for your fried rice.Innovative, fresh and really pleasant staff would ensure your dining experience to be fun and enjoying!
Food is so good n very authentic. Absolutely value for money. Staffs are attentive and service is good despite running on full house. Will recommend the cheese ring and will definitely visit again!
The buffet I had was delicious! The staff were very helpful but the wait was a bit long when I went on Friday night. Would definitely make another trip here again!
Great experience! Although the queue was quite long, it was worth the wait as the food was good. Moreover, the service was great and the staff was all very friendly. Especially the waitress who served our table! As it was our first time dinning at Dookki, she explained to us about how it works and recommended us dishes.
My absolute favourite food and their service is great! 😊
Food is pretty average, on par with other Korean restaurants. The staff whom we were mostly served by was rude and inflexible. He dropped by twice, and without saying much, circled the timing on our receipt to gesture that our time limit was up. Then he went on to say that he had to clear our tables, even though we were not done with our food.We were not stuffing our faces; just slow eaters unwinding after work.Understandably, the restaurant has a 90 min time limit, but at 9pm on a weeknight there really wasnt anyone in the queue and there were empty seats in the restaurant. We would have gladly vacated if there was a queue, but given the situation that night, some flexibility and graciousness would have been appreciated.
Nice food & Good service 👍
Not your typical Korean buffet. It has fish cake, stew with ingredients you can add and other snacks like fried chickens. You can even made your own fried rice or rice with ingredients which i love. For me I feel like it makes you full but doesnt really satisfy me like other buffets. Maybe because i prefer meats. However, I recommend you to at least try it.
Good tasting food at affordable prices. Any cheaper it would not be a buffet. There is a queue but the service is great . I’m actually queuing right now as I write this review
The fried rice is so good
The staff is very friendly and helpful, my first time there so they guided me on how to eat the food. Food was really good as well. Overall, fantastic experience
For youngsters & Korean Pop fans. More of a junk food or processed food buffet. Beside vegetables, the only real food is frozen mussels. The meat items are cocktail size hot dogs. But the highlights here are the many types of Korean rice cakes. After you are done with the steamboat, the server will prepare the fried rice or noodles with the remaining sauce left over in the pan. Unique experience for culture
Great variety and nice japan atmosphere.
It weird when you buy a meal that is not buffet. They will ask you to eat outside as the inside only have buffet only.
Cheap MSG taste. Cheapest service in Singapore.had a stomach after eating here. quality is terrible.Middle aged woman at the casher was very rude to a customer. Her attitude makes the bad taste even worse!! She almost yelled to customers and I cant imagine whats wrong with her.You must educate her a CS service properly not to lose customers anymore..Terrible experience with food and service at the same time.Dont recommend at all and will never visit again!
Me and friends had a fun time at the restaurant, the service was fanstatic. The server who was with us helped us and suggest what we should do. This was the first time here and the service that we had was amazing! They also helped us with the cooking and this is the first time we are here!
Dinner buffet was really worth, staff helped us by explaining how everything works. Ingredients are what you would expect from a buffet. Went about 3 times now and would recommend getting the cheese ring.
Highly recommended for friends of 4. Probably best experience you can have because of how interactive the people working in there. They are fun and funny. The food is nice.Ps: try not to eat too much on the first round tho. You might miss out on their savoury korean fried rice.
Super goooddddd buffet that I’ve been going to for like 2 years now! never disappointed everytime I’m there :’) staff r really nice too!!!!
Great food & good service! Will try their new outlet in Jurong! 😋
Korean style Maggie mee buffet (aka army pot). Taste nice. But no need order add on cheese, cos the pot no that hot cant melt the cheese, n the cheese doesnt taste nice. The table too small to fit 4 person. N maybe worker lazy to wash dish or what. Every table only provide limited plate. If u nv try before, good to experience. Cos after that you wont go back again 🤓
The restaurant specialises in tteokbokki buffet and it was a very interesting experience. Diners can customise your soup (spicy, curry etc) and choose from a range of food to add into your pot. Its kind of like tteokbokki hotpot. The selection isn’t huge but you’ll definitely find something you like. There are several types of tteok available and in the vegetable selection, you can find mushrooms, onions, leeks, cabbage etc. Meats available include luncheon meat, chicken and sausages. I was quite surprised to find seafood though, there were clams, mussels and squid. Ramyun is provided too!!!Other than these, there’s also a drinks station, a bingsu station (😍), fried foods section (chicken and mandu) and a kimchi fried rice bar. Diners are limited to a time of 90 minutes.Overall, we definitely had a good dinner here, the price for Friday dinner was 22SGD (inclusive of gst) which I thought was relatively affordable for what you get. The queue was really long though (we waited about 45 minutes to be seated). I would definitely recommend this place if you’re around the area ;)
Food variety 3 starsService 4 starsEnvironment 4 starsPrice 3 starsP/s: Everything was good until a middle age lady came to tell us we have 7 mins left to enjoy our meal. Then she ordered another staff to quickly fry a small portion of rice for us. In fact, we were not told about the limited time and I dont think we stayed there for 80 mins+ already. I know there is long queue waiting outside, but that is definitely not the right way to serve customers. Im just too lazy to confront with her.
It always crowded during school holidays period, but the waiting time was still fast and efficient! Really affordable for the price paid!! Staff are friendly too.
Second best teoppoki i ever ate (The best one is still in Melbourne 😊). Basically, this is an all you can eat resto. You can add and mixed everything, and eat as much as you can. The teoppoki sauce taste good and you can make your own, spicy or not. The waiter are helpfull. Do not waste food, because they will add to your bill, each person 10 sgd.
The food was great and the staff was very friendly . It was a very good experience would come back again
Love how we can do up our own sauce and customise the base for the sauce. Nice Korean ingredients too. Good service and will come again!
Service was bad from the start. Staff didnt explain properly what was the system limitations on the ordering page. Went inside and was given a table that havent been wiped clean.Ordered food but staff took a long time to send the food, when asked about the issue, staff only said there she was busy with a lot of orders, when clearly staff was seen doing things slowly and laughing and talking with other colleagues. So disappointed with the service standard here, training is so hard to come by these days. Understand that during covid period, buffets are all understaffed but shouldnt management come in to train, or at least allow only half occupancy? When complaint was made, staff was brazen enough to say please complain through the website. If this is the future of Dooki, then its not going to last long. Customers are all turned away by such service. Never coming back again ever. Come here only if you wish to test your patience on inevident service standards. And dont get me started on the cold fried food as well.
Good food and service
This place is one of the reasons why I hate eating at restaurants in Singapore recently. At first, the place looks impressive: The photos of the food looks absolutely delicious, and the price ($18.80++ for adults $10.80++ for children 110-130cm) a buffet sounds reasonable. However after we sat down and visited the buffet spread, we were sorely disappointed. There was a total of 3 types of meat items available. A low quality luncheon meat (usually my favourite item in hotspots), always out of stock mussels, and mini sausages. Oh I forgot to mention the cuttlefish balls. Then again, all the items were more filler than meat. Then again, maybe I was asking for it since it is technically a rice cakes buffet. Well, once bitten...We even tried to salvage the experience by ordering the Cheese ring ($9.80++). Big mistake because the cheese only really goes well with meat items. It also hardened really fast.Only reason why it wasnt 1 star was because the service was friendly and it had free flow drinks. For people who are carbo loading, this might be heaven. XDWell, at least I took a half decent food photo... heheh
