This place is unique and its full of good eateries. Lots of restaurants and other shops in an old barracks that been well renovated and decorated to suit each an individual restaurants or shops theme.

Lovely place with bustling night life!You are challenged to hike a mini hill/slope to get to the top, where most of the restaurants are.Many restaurants offer good drinks and alcohols.But be prepared to burn a big hole in your pockets, as everything on the menus in each restaurant is not cheap here.Not very accessible if you come by public transport, although there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill.A nice place for catch-up over drinks, especially after work at night!PS: we came via 174 from Farrer Road MRT (circle line). Or you can take a bus from Holland V MRT or Queenstown MRT.

This hill has a lot of food and beverage options. However, the only aspect I do not like is the fact that the closest bus stop is 10-12 mins walk away. It is quite inconvenient for possibly the older/handicapped people to dine at. Maybe they can have several different bus shuttle stops to help out with this?

Everything Ive been there I have disliked the area more. the service anywhere here is at best average, food so-so and often they dont have half the dishes on the menu for the evenings...sorry but poor value for your money.

There are a lot of nice restaurants, nice viewing promenade surrounded by forest.Car park is free to use, it is also good point.Good for your date, meal and sightseeing.Many high end people here, so many high end fine dining restaurants also here.You can have a relax time.After Circuit Breaker every shop is so busy. You should get reservation before visit even on weekdays.

I love Dempsey Hill. Loads of shops at your fingertips, plus excellent dining options.

This is another part of Singapore and very different from usual places. Greenery and lots of famous F&B outlets as well as retails.

We liked everything about this place from the first time we tried it to our final night in Singapore. The food is delicious, Margaritas are lethal and there is live music Fridays and Saturdays and if you have consumed enough Margaritas then you can dance. The owners Ushu and Patrick are a great couple and will do everything they can to make sure that you will have a great night

I went to Dempsey Hill for the first time.I visited Yafot Wellness Centre for a Revolutionary facial and had lunch at Margaritas.I had a great time there.I will need to visit Dempsey Hill again to find out more about other restaurants.

A sprawling collection of F&B outlets dispersed over a wide area. Quite a lot of parking available but this place can be quite inaccessible if you dont drive. Expect to walk quite a bit of you come by public transport.Perhaps as a result of this exclusivity, the dining establishments are more upmarket and you should expect to spend quite a bit dining here.

Very nice place in Spore for F&B. Offers a broad variety of different restaurants, bars and cafes. Nicely decorated. Former military barracks transformed nicely.

Dempsey Hill is now a cluster of popular cafes, restaurants and lifestyle shops. Here used to be British army barraks before.Located slightly outside of the city area so best way to reach here is taxi, ride share or Buses. Still walking distance from Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Moreover, it is possibly one of the best areas in Singapore to fine dine, be it a brunch, lunch or dinner. It houses unique, upscale stores & restaurants spread out across a vast expanse. One of my favourites would be Jam @ Siri House.

An area off Napier Road / Holland with mostly restaurants, upmarket grocery and butchery stores. Also, decorative home furnishings, including carpets, and a large outlet with statures and oriental-style armoires and credenza type things. Many well-known restaurants and cafes here, and a wide mix of cuisine, including Chinese seafood, fusion, and a few bars. Parking is free and quite ample around each restaurant cluster, and this is a place that you have to drive or taxi to.

Free parking area with plenty of lots. Many food options here though you will have to check the individual store reviews to know whats good. (Id recommend PS cafe and Margaritas as a couple good ones Ive tried).Did not manage to find a public toilet so you may need to use that of the stores there.Overall a scenic area you can bring your family or a date to. If going on significant days like valentines day, be sure to make your meal reservations well in advance as most of the good restaurants will be fully booked with long waiting times for walk-ins.

Quality Italian food, delicious! Pizza was made with fresh dough and freshly bake and pasta is excellent too. Their Chocolate gelato is rich in taste . Must try!

The only place I patronise here is Wine Co. They have a lunch menu at $6.90 that comes with a cup of free coffee between 12pm to 3pm. Members get 30% off some of mains during lunch. Members get 30% off cocktails and 10% of wines and food after the 3pm lunch time. Membership is cheap at $22 per year. Free parking and relatively good food.

Run down and probably waiting for new tenants

There is a ton of very interesting stuff here, from shops to play areas, a sports field and more. Its very interesting winding through the roads and seeing what is there. It can occasionally be confusing as to where some of the numbered blocks are but they have decent labeling so you should eventually find where youre going.

Fantastic area for food choices and you will be flanked by supercars along the way since you are in upmarket Singapore. Be prepared though to spend more and leave the place a bit poorer in the wallet and rich in the belly. Amazing variety and the heart of great seafood and ambience. Service will be up a notch from other places and normal service charge will be 10 %.

My fav here is EAT AT MY KITCHEN, BLK 8D. Set lunch is excellent value for money. WOW! LOVE the white truffle oil mushroom soup, the French 80 days spring chicken and YES the beef stroganoff pasta! Big portion. Have to have their apple strudel with this crazily dizzying vanilla ice cream! Must have their coffee. Cannot miss their Popiah ( DIY) promo meals and their all handmade, fresh coconut milk chendol. Awesome! Who uses fresh coconut milk for chendol these days in Singapore? Just tried their vegan dish..cauliflower steak with grilled veg n mushroom n pilaff rice...huge serving, super tasty. Cant believe that I enjoyed this so much. Been to their brunch, served only on Sat/Sun/Public holidays. So good!Then the ambience n decor is to live for..so spacious, so green, so beautiful and charming and really distancing...hahaha! Even their music is from this elegant Bang n Olusen piece.Needs to make reservation, no walk-ins.

Loads of eating options, all pretty high end. This place is one of the best options if you want to celebrate special occasions in classy cafes and restaurants. There are some run of the mill restaurants like jumbo seafood also here, but most of the places are kinda one-off type of setups. As the name suggests it is in the middle of a green/ forest type area, which makes it accessible mainly through cars or cabs. This adds to the exclusivity of the place as well of course so not necessarily a negative. Be sure to make reservations wherever you decide to eat.

Favorite natural gym

It is considered by many as one of those nice-but-kinda-out-of-reach restaurants, but dont let that mislead or deter you. Dempsey Hill is actually quite accessible, just beside the bus stop is a short path leading up to its first cluster of specialty shops. Walking further and around while deciding which cafe or restaurant you want to lounge in can be a nice afternoon/evening walk by itself. Many choices of cozy, romantic or casual restaurants here, so far those few I have tried are not disappointing, prices varying from $$$ to $$$$. And the atmosphere here can make you forget for a while that youre in busy industrious Singapore.
