Prata game is strong. Disclaimer: expat review haha. Came across their promo for prata buffet and tried a wide variety. Their flavoured options come in rectangular shape and tends to be more crispy and chewy. Their plain prata was circular and not so crispy, but more flaky and chewy. Good no frills option.

Came for the $7.90 Prata buffet on its last day of promotion. Ordered more than $16 worth of prata. Had the egg mushroom cheese, egg cheese and egg onion cheese. Really very filling. Not going to eat tomorrow 😋.

Very thankful for the lunch from Casurina Curry MacPherson today.Its food like this that taught me to appreciate well prepared meals and be grateful when I get them.The dehydrated chicken jerky and begedil fried in rancid oil reminded me of how immensely difficult it is to prepare mediocre food. Couldnt get my fork into the chicken even with moderate pressure and spat out my bite of begedil that tasted worse than the 4 week old fishy deep frying oil I have at home. The cooks at Casurina Curry went out of their way to do the thankless task of serving bad food so we crave for mediocre food, setting a bar so low that even bad hawker food would become edible.For this, I am grateful I have been blessed with so many decent meals in my life. Thank you Casurina Curry.

Food was surprisingly good! Much better than other branches, and that even includes the original Casuarina branch!

Best dhall curry. Thick with a slight tardiness. Prata was thin and crispy. The plaster prata yolk was runny 👍🏻

First time there on their prata buffet. Cant eat that much but it was a good opportunity to try some of the famed prata. Was very impressed with the freshness of their prata and ingredients. Particularly good was the garlic cheese. Prata was served pipping hot, slight crisp to the ends and sizing was big as well! Enjoyed it very much. Least favourite was the curry dipping, fish curry not sour enough and chicken curry not fragrant at all. Service is also very good, staff was very patient and friendly!

Prata here is arguably the best in SG. Chai tea is good too. Would give the butter chicken and naan a miss. Milky prata a must try!

Casuarina curry offers curry, masala, choices of spices and gravy. Rice is generous, and heavy weight.

Crispy Prata with curry that is Thick and full of flavour. Good Choice of curry, normal, fish and chicken curry that is free to choose at no additional cost. The tosei and chicken Mutabak is also must try for this store.

The food is nice and filling but quite oily

Not your usual neighbourhood thin prata and watery curry.Here its full and thick. The prata feels whole and full. Curry is top quality.Only way to know to find out if this prata for u is to give it a try!!Set of 2 pratas, curry with meat and a drink $8.Would prefer prata to be hot though.

I like to be proven wrong but this is probably the best prata out there. The cheese prata is outstanding and you will likely thank me later. Service is excellent and fast so there is no excuse not to come here esp if you have a prata carving.

Meaty and crispy prata. One of the best pratas around. Tasty Mee Goreng and Beehoon Goreng.

It has become my favourite hunt. But don’t take way because your prata will become soggy. Eat there.

Blown away by the crispy prata and solid masala chicken. It’s been a long time since I had such crispy prata that left me feeling so satisfied. The chicken was cooked just right, not tough or dry like in other places. This set comes with a drink of either teh tarik or kopi. No service charge. Enjoyable meal! My new favourite breakfast place :)

We went to Casuarina Curry for a prata making workshop followed by food and drinks. The prata-making was enjoyable and informational. The children enjoyed themselves having some hands-on experience with the dough and learning about the origins of prata. The fish curry is yummy and the Prata with mushroom was delicious and moist on the inside (Crispy on the outside). Thank you for making the experience enjoyable for all of us! If you are more permissive, you can let the kids enjoy the chocolate prata as well!

Lack of parking space, food was average. Have eaten better.the Coin prata set is a little too sweet for my liking.

Tried the marsala chai, Casuarina mojito (slightly fizzy) and mango lassi..all 3 good perfect accompaniment to our butter chicken (really nice), aloo ghobi (mostly cauliflower some potato) and Mysore mutton which is good portion. The best was their roti Prata and mutton murtabak (the large size is massive for 2 Pax $11) which was really nice and crispy.

Food was excellent. Staffs were extremely friendly. Definitely will return when there is a craving for prata. Only issue is the parking. There isnt much parking lots.

Portions are generous. Restaurant has many different types of prata available. Worth a visit.

We ordered the Hari Raya Festive Special menu on Hari Raya Raji 2021.The food was delivered earlier than expected which was great. The delivery personnel was polite and careful with handling the food.And most of all, the food was absolutely awesome. The yogurt fish was out of the world. Chicken Masala and Chettinad Mutton on Briyani Rice with Aloo Gobi and Mutton Dalcha was simply finger licking good. Sago Gula Melaka was made to the perfection. Everyone, including our guests at home, enjoyed the food very much. Im certain to visit the restaurant after the current Phase 2 situation. Thank you Casuarina Curry for everything.

Read the good review on the Briyani and I had it myself. Indeed it was good. The rice was fragrance and the chicken masala was tasty. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn’t as fresh. Next, the mee goreng. It was fried till a little dry and the noodle was a bit hard. Lastly, the prata. It was crispy but the chicken curry was not to my liking with some kind of herbs taste.

The prata is too crispy till i cant even eat properly. The naan with butter chicken is even worse. 10/10 not coming back

Butter chicken is perfect with generous portions of chicken chunks ($6.4). Chicken murtabak is so so with small pieces (lopks like minced meat) of chicken and onion ($7.5)

Butter chicken 5 stars. Mutton curry 4 stars because it is on the salty side. Naan 2 stars because it did not taste fresh or cook on the spot. Garlic naan lacked garlic flavor and tandoori aroma. Plain prata was just crispy with no softness inside. Fish curry was abit fishy. Mango lassi was amazing! Clean and friendly place with air conditioner. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves!

The paper thosai is one of the best and crispiest that Ive tasted. The fish curry is very flavourful and solid. The fish curry is not watery like those usual curries that Ive tasted in other restaurants. Ill always order this on grabfood and foodpanda and it satisfies my thosai cravings.

Best roti prata. Love the roti prata here it is crispy on the outside and soft inside come with full flavored . Have also eaten chicken briani rice set, thosai and curry fish head. All are good. The service stuff here are also good and friendly.

Not my favorite dosa. A bit soggy compared to mtr. They have versions thats different from Indian food. Overall OK lah to fill the stomach.

I ordered my Bento set for my traditional wedding from Casuarina Curry. During food tasting, Mr Keerthi was very patient with us to understand what we were looking for and took in all our feedbacks positively. He was also very understanding and accommodating to the changes that was happening due to Covid.As promised, he and his team delivered the most scrumptious bento meal!! The portions were perfect and the taste was super delicious. Our guests dropped us msges and calls to let us know that the food was so yummy! Serving a good bento meal for our wedding guest was very important to us and, Casuarina Curry made it come true! We felt so happy that our guests enjoyed the yummy food just like we did, a pleasant closure to our wedding ceremony (:Thank you Mr Keerthi and Casuarina Curry!!

Had the fish head curryWas not that fresh and to be honest not as good as advertised. Maybe due to not much customers on Saturday night so the turnover for the fish head is slow. Ok in a pinch I guess

The prata is good & they have 1 for 1 promo on their Bubble Tea (Lychee, Teh Terik, Masala & Teh O) which is surprising refreshing. Promo ends 8 May. Service is pretty good.

This was my first time at Casuarina and what great good they serve! The variety of pratas available is so wide. The curry that came with the prata was thick and rich. The prawns in the prawn sambal were fresh. Well be back soon.

Plain paratha with chicken curry is the bomb! Highly recommend this place! Delicious and cheap, whats not to like? =)

I went in expecting average fare but was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, the lamb shank biryani, sausage egg and cheese prata and chocolate prata were just fantastic. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes. Very impressed.

Had a great breakfast, several different Pratap options, kids loved their banana and crispy coin prata. Service was great too and their staff very friendly.

By far my favourite prata shop. Consistent prata/thosai quality. The place is comfortable, making it easy to bring small children. I usually like my kosong, but this shop often innovates with new menu items, if that excites you. The place is just the right size, kept neat and clean.

Great food and experience

Simply put, I dont have to have my GF drive all the way north to Sembawang / Thomson anymore to eat this where I have a worthy substitute much nearer to our homes that is almost as good and up there with the flagship restaurant. In fact the interior of the MacP outlet is cleaner and looks more updated. Added this to my rotation of prata places on my Fridays. So expect me to pay a visit here from time to time.

Casuarina Curry (Macpherson) is my go to restaurant if i am looking for a wide spread of great south indian food with a prata live station. Recently engaged them for my daughters 2nd birthday and the guests loved the prata live station especially. Serving was generous, prata was fresh, crispy and delicious. My guests enjoyed the food as they always do with Casuarina. Highly recommended! Reliable service and great food at a great value!
