When we step into Gokul, we never regret being vegetarian. We never miss meat. Thats how good they are. Ordered Nasi Lemak & Chicken Rice. And as usual e dishes exceeded our expectations. The chili n sambal provided were just wow! And ambience is good enough for a quiet catch-up with a friend too. Worthy of 6 stars really but am stopping at 5...
So sad to not have discovered this place sooner! The prata is so good - crispy yet doughy. The prata set came with two thin curries with mock chicken and mock mutton, unbelievable how its not real meat. Also ordered the aloo gobi which was spicy but very good. Want to now try everything else on their menu!
A great place for variety of vegetarian dishes (Indian-Chinese-Malay fusion). And the food is finger-lickin-good all the time. My friends (all Chinese) and I mostly visit this place for gathering dinner and we all love the food here.Recommend to try: Nasi Goreng Kampung, Bhindi Masala, Aloo Gobi.In short, delicious food with affordable price, but the place is compact.
I can practically eat here everyday! The spread of local delights like mee siam, char kway teow, chicken rice, mee rebus & many others is impressive 😋 Ive been eating here regularly with my family and boyfriend Brian for some time now and enjoy the flavours. We find it so appetizing (no use of alliums- onion/ garlic) Their chappati meal is wonderful! And Dum Briyani so tantalising..And every bite of the sardine puff makes me realize how much effort goes into its filling (though spicy)Id encourage all vegan/ vegetarian foodies to go here 😋😀 because there are vegan options when you request. Even Jain options too. Also, very hardworking and nice team of staff managing the restaurant in Fortune Centre. Kudos to you all 👍👍
A small Shop and was deceived by the size of the shop. But was surprised with the food. Tasty and good quantity.
Has variety of local fusion fare. Give authentic Indian food a miss here as it doesnt taste good. Food is expensive. They charge 10 % service charge. Even if you order takeaway they call it packing charge.
The prata and the briani are so cute. The mutton curry is fantastic. U can find chinese and Indian fusion food here. And best, its all vegetarian.
I threw up after eating the “Butter Chicken Masala”. I think I was unlucky. I went near closing time, and most of what I wanted was sold out/not available? I wanted the Dum Briyani. Anyway, she told me the “Butter Chicken” was still available, and the prata. I decided not to take the prata because it was SGD2.50 for a prata!
One of my favourite Indian vegetarian restaurant that doesnt serve onion, garlic and eggs in their dishes.Their nasi briyani, sadine curry puffs and spinach paneer are some of the food you wouldnt want to miss.Staffs can be rude at times, so it kinda depends on their mood I guess? (Minus oneStar)Price is slightly expensive but the portion of food is relatively big.
Had masala dosa, its really good!!! Will go back and try other dishes but at dickson Road outlet instead. This outlet has too little variety, mainly mains
I prefer the restaurant food more than the catering menu. Maybe it could be due to the selection of individuals. Overall it is a very dedicated service. I have been patronizing them since Brindhavan days. They provide such a homely atmosphere and the food is served in reasonable portions.
I like the dum nasi brayani
Loved the vegetarian foods here especially char kway tiao!
$7.50!!! for Nasi Goreng Kampung. I was really shock unexpectedly as there wasnt a price list. Was expecting $5 etc...
Deserve more customers. Cheap.
The briyani dum and palak paneer fulfilled our aapetite. Great taste. Definitely will come again for our next vegetarian meal.
This is a wonderful place to have Indian food at reasonable price. Great Bru Coffee as well. I am changing my rating now to 5 star. In case you need something or not happy what you have been served, do not hesitate to call out, staff is always helpful to do their best.
A franchise outlet of the Upper Dickson flagship with a smaller menu, lower prices, and slightly smaller portions - but the same uncompromising quality. Flavour and spice levels are consistently robust, and I especially like the mee siam, lontong, bee hoon goreng, laksa goreng, Hokkien mee, Indian rojak, sambar rice, masala thosai, dum briyani, and prata. The plant-based meat dishes are also quite convincing (not to mention delicious) and may leave one wondering why eating animals is still a thing.
Very good Indian Vegetarian! Especially the Dum Biryani.
Great Indian food, but not a fan of their hygiene and customer service. Left the restaurant with oily sticky shoes. Wont recommend you to travel all the way to eat here. But if youre around the area and want some Indian food dearly, then go for it - food wise its tasty.
Small portions but great flavour.
The food is so Indonesians tasty and cheaper. I ate meat paru with milk tea is only $5.5. The place is okay for short lunch, i mean not really great but convenient. Overall is good.
Good place to try Indian foods. Was bit crowded at office lunch time. Not a cozy place but tasty food.
A great place to eat Vegetarian food. You can find vegetarian versions of non veg here. It will be helpful for the non vegetarians who want to shift to vegetarian diet as some of their items really tastes like non vegetarian. You should try out the vegetarian mutton soup if you visit here.
Economical decent food. But doesnt accept credit cards. Says vegetarian, but also offers non vegetarian dishes.
Pure vegetarian Indian-malay fusion food..good for vegans too.We had mee goreng and it was too good.
Enjoyed veg biryani and palak daal !!Good qty, qlty, taste, price.Staff was bit strange perhaps coz i m north side but i dont mind !! 😊
I often go to the outlet at Middle road...Great food and the Ginger tea is awesome and good news for puri lovers.. they have started new add on menu puri set..great food and great staff.. .
The food standard really drop especially the Dum Briyani, the mock meat taste like frozen cube over some heat and the price is $8.00. Regret eating from here, dont waste your time eating from here.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Singapore! Some thing for every one!Recommended!😊👍🏼
The food is not bad
Price is slightly costly but the food is very nice. A variety of food to enjoy.
Place is very small, cost is on the higher side compared to the quantity they are offering. dont expect the Indian quality food but the tast of food items are some where between not so good to average.
The mutton masala is da bomb haha
Its nice place to taste our Indian cuisine
Nice Indian food
Love their soup tulang and special hokkien mee. Visit them almost once every other month
GOKULLLLL!!! This spot. Go here over the other location. The chef is very friendly & such a good a good cook. Cash only, & a casual spot... but very good authentic Indian food. Dosa included. You should go and you won’t be disappointed. Prices are $5-7.
Situated in Little india it is a decent restaurant for veg foodies but could have been better taste wise and ambiance can be better too.
The staff are friendly and food are nice. Gokul are vegetarian base Indian foods.
Operates like a hawker place, vegetarian in the name is only name sake as they have quite a bit of meat and chicken items on the menu. Their food items do not taste fresh and authentic. Highly avoidable.
Great vegetarian Indian food. Very authentic taste which is unexpected though.
Not so good tasty food.
Clean n decent variety of vegetarian food.
Tasty North Indian and South Indian food is available here. Mouthwatering taste
Awesome food and polite staff.. Paradise for those who crave for great vegetarian food ..Kudos guys.
Edit: Their phone order for delivery is very prompt and professional. Please contact 98206607.Past dine-in experience: Choosing to serve a queue-cutter instead of a customer who queued like everyone else goes to show you have no commitment to service, and in promoting basic etiquette. I have patronised your restaurant on multiple occasions because you serve great food, but this was a disappointment in service.
I think the food was reasonably priced by Singapore standards. Location is central, walking distance from the Bugis MRT stration. Food was served earlier than expected and was delicious. We had a chapatti set, a parata set and also a couple of sweet lassis, which was a well rounded meal. Seating was convenient and tidy. I would visit this place if I am in the vicinity.
Realy very nice vegetarian food! We enjoyed it very much. Authentic Indian food; different currys, mild taste, chappati bread, sweet lassi etc..etc.. Also take away.
Awesome Vege food near bugis, must try
Moderate price with large portion. Mutton briyani rice is good!! But murtabak is slightly salty if you eat it without gravy, with gravy just nice.
Good small place serving reasonable priced vegetarian food!!!
Tasty and good food option.ambience was not that great
Their mock “mutton” biriyani is really yummy..
Wonderful home taste ...Blessed to had first meal while I m in Singapore.
Good option at Fortune Center for Vegetarians
Innovative vegetarian meals at affordable prices
The best place for malay-indian-chinese fusion all in vegetarian version!!!Highly recommended : Nasi goreng kampong with chili
I just had the best Saba fish set ever for 6.5 sgd here
Very good food, fair price - real value for money. The service although is a bit unfriendly and not very thoughtful (many of the tables were not cleaned of the dishes etc.), but at this price and quality, acceptable.
Wide range of local food...Traditional kambing soup.nyoya laksa.sardin puff n more....
Nice location but the tables can be cleaner. Find some cheese curry bit too sweet for me.
One of the must go vegetarian restaurant ..Avoid peak lunch hour, the chef is a gem where dum Bryani / Nasi kampong r the one ... period !
Expensive restaurant but the food is tasty. One more thing is that they do not accept Nets. Have to pay by cash.
Best authentic Indian food ever!!! Tastes like home food :). I highly recommend the dosas and bhindi masala with chapatis. Delicious!!! When in Singapore, eat here!!! I especially like this location. Its in the mall. The cook is so nice too. All around great and super affordable ($5-$7)!
Good Malaysian/Singaporean vegetarian food
Highly recommended indian vegetarian foods! Love the prata and the curry puff
Great vegetarian food with unique flavour!
Good place for indian vegetarian foods lover.
The prata set comes with two crispy thin roti pratas, with two different gravies alongside! The tangy curry will definitely win the hearts of curry lovers!
They are okay with limited choices but good enough for usual everyday lunch. Prices arent competitive though compared to other restaurants in the same building!
Indian and local vegetarian food with my garlic and onion. Try their nasi lemak, let them know no mock meat if you don’t eat mock meat. Their Indian rojak is also not to shabby.
Quick service. Nonya laksa is amazing!
Good food at a reasonable price
Good food. But ventilation needs to be advised
The food is ok but the service is terrible unfriendly.
This place serves the best indian veg food in town! Always love their Dum Bryani, Dosa, Mee Goreng, Chicken Rice. Great service - very fast for takeaways.. Also the cook and the waiter is very friendly. Yummy food!!
Really tasty indian food. Cant wait to go back!
Its ok for a quick bite
Best mock meat eatery in SG
Had an excellent palak dal here. Great outlet of this chain!
Goku vegetarian in fortune center, the food very nice. :)
Best Indian vegetarian food ever!
Its actually have reasonable price because of the portion a bit large, and taste good too.
My favourite mutton soup. Its soooo good!
