Don’t be fooled by the spice and oil level that you find on the grilled fish head( u can order half a fish head). The spices are well balanced without being too overpowering or spicy. Love the grilled spare ribs where the cumin spices goes well with the meat. Love the cold dish of tofu skin mixed with coriander, it’s very appetising and refreshing to eat in between the fish and spare ribs. It is hard to find this dish 藕饼夹肉, lotus root with minced meat, here in Singapore! Do order it coz the ones made here are authentic in taste! Last but not least, the pumpkin pancakes are sooo gooood! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! Would recommend you to come and try the dishes I had!
While the food is great and authentically湘菜, the online booking system and delivery service have lots of room for improvement. Would not recommend to purchase their vouchers with added credit, while needing to deal with unpredictable delivery timing and poor in-house booking system. Might as well order through Grab.
This restaurant’s Hunan cuisine is very good, especially sour and spicy taste is nice. I came this restaurants two times with my wife and friend and everyone likes foods here.
Had a super bad experience with the service and their attitude staff. Ordered take away and after waited for 30min only then to find out my food was already left at the counter but no one even notice it. And when I approached the waitress and ask how come my order has not been served, instead of getting an apologies for neglecting the order, she replied me with an attitude tone that the order wasn’t taken by her so she didn’t see it. Wow
Steam chillies fish head and fry cabbage is good and fresh. Reasonable price too.
Delicious hunan food that I have missed a lot...
The dishes this restaurant serves look like authentic hunan cuisine. It is quite popular with Chinese diners as the restaurant are almost packed with them. Personally I find the dishes too oily for local Singaporean taste bud. They use fresh water fish for their popular fish fish which has rather strong mud smell and a lot of bones.
Service is poor. Food is not bad. Staff serve you with unhappiness showed on their faces
Good to eat, service well
Good food sometimes drop the standard
Food is quite good. But a bit on the spicy/mala side.
Delicious food. Hunan is where Mao Zedong was from.
Hard to find hunan food in Singapore. Very satisfied. Visit here quite often.
I have tried a dish here which fried tea leafs with shrimps. It is so inspiring and fragrant and addictive you will never forget the taste.
The food was overpriced, the chicken was dry and had a lot of bones. The only bright spot is sour plum soup, perhaps the shop owner could consider opening a drink shop instead of a restaurant.
Hunan cuisine worth a try. Often meet up with friends here and have some beer with nice spicy food.
Nice spicy food.... 😊
Always our favourite Hunan food place!
High standard food and very good service. One of the best along this food street! Highly recommended👍
Good
Feel like coming again after eating.
Below average, disappointed
Average food only
Amazing restaurant
Very distinctive Hunan cuisine. I thought it was a small roadside restaurant from the reviews, but when I arrived at the restaurant, I found it was a restaurant with a good dining environment. The chef’s skill is very good. Although Hunan cuisine is mainly spicy, if you can’t eat spicy food, tell the chef the least spicy, you won’t be spicy!Stir-fried cauliflower with bacon is highly recommended, because Hunan bacon is the most famous, very fragrant and flavorful, and it is rare to have such a good quality bacon.Chairman Maos braised pork in brown sauce is also very special. It tastes different from ordinary braised pork. It is very delicious when eaten with garlic. I can also understand the restaurants requirements for ingredients, using fresh pork belly, the meat is very soft and tender!I recommend the hot tea in the restaurant. The cup used reminds me of the old Chinese teacher who used a porcelain teacup to make a cup of tea in the office and enjoy a good cup of tea.
The delicious Hunan Hunan cuisine, which I cant forget, is reasonably priced, worth eating, and its amazing.
The dishes are exquisite and have remained at a certain level for many years. Quite a recommended restaurant
Black shop, expensive things, not tasty, poor service attitude! Never eat here! You regret it!
Now the dishes obviously feel less delicious than before. And that day I went to take no body temperature, so let us go in and sit down. Another diner went to the toilet without a mask, and still coughed when passing my desk!
It’s not easy to eat good Hunan food in Po
It’s a very ordinary Hunan restaurant in Hunan, and a very good Hunan restaurant in Singapore. The chili fried pork is very good.
In order to promote members, let me line up for 15 minutes to check out
At noon time, I set a position at 6 oclock in the evening. After 4:30 in the afternoon, I was told that there was no location.Willing to give a 10% discount? Is there a service for this?
