Love the food and ambience! We tried Chicken Briyani and Prawn Briyani. The taste was okay but not delicious. It was quite disappointing. But the rest dishes like Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Naan, Prawn Korma and Wheat Prata was absolutely delicious! We really love the food so much. The food quality was amazing!I would like to thank Mr Balan whom went extra mile to arrange Masala Chai for us. We didn’t realise it was 9.30PM and we wanted to taste the masala chai so badly. When we ordered, they told the kitchen were closed. I find it so funny cause nobody told us it was last order but anyway it wasn’t a big deal. Then Mr Balan was attending to our table and he asked if we are done with our food and we told him our little situation. He told us that normally 9.30PM we will close the kitchen and he went inside back kitchen to make special requests for us. I mean it was so nice of him to made such arrangements for us. We all truly appreciate his effort. Our non Indian friends were so happy to try the masala chai finally!Kudos to Mr Balan! Will come back again! 🤩🔥

Delicious food with sizable portions for a North Indian restaurant. As expected, as North Indian food is exotic, it is pricier than many other types of cuisines (Japanese, English, American, Chinese, South Indian etc.) in Singapore; expect dishes costing $22 - $36 each.Would suggest avoiding the kebabs if you dont want to pay $34 - $36 (list price excludes GST & 10% service charge).

We went there after hearing really good reviews from few friends.Due to COvID, they no longer serve buffet instead they had a promo for 1/1 free flow buffet served on table. We went with that option so that you can try a lot of curries.Appetisers included lentil soup, samosa and chicken Tikka. Samosas were nice and similar to the frozen haldiram samosas, chicken was nice and juicy. With the main course, paneer and fish was really ok, paneer was not soft and fish was not fresh. The mutton Roghan gosh was really nice with meat cooked perfectly to tenderness. Butter chicken nice and creamy too.Overall, if u crave good Indian it’s not a bad option but nothing extraordinary here.

4.5 if I can rate this the way I want on google! That said - Really tasty Indian food tucked away in Raffles City where the aroma hits you before you enter the restaurant and gets you salivating. The food tasted as good as it smelt where the most unassuming but amazing dish for me was the Bharva Mushrooms. Curries (not featured) were so great and definitely punched in all the great flavors.Service was really great and they also had a live band (of sorts) entertaining you as you dine!

Impressed with this place! They have buffet lunch and a la carte dinner, and buffet dinner on holidays. Live music starts at 8 pm every night. The Papdi Chaat (indian taco) was sooo delicious and my favorite with flavours of mint, yogurt, and tamarind. We got the Tandoori Milawat that has a few pieces of 4 kinds of tandoori grills - chicken tikka, fish tikka, prawn, and kebab. It was great to try different kinds. The Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potatoes) was kind of mushy and could’ve tasted better. The Chicken Makhanwala (butter chicken) was perfect with the naan bread. If you like bread, the bread basket was perfect! Plain and garlic naan, roomali roti (thin chappati-yum!), and tandoori parantha (also yum!)We tried the Jal Jeera to drink and it was very different and not something I would recommend. Can’t go wrong with the Mango Lassi though.Unfortunately we were disappointed with the service. It could’ve been much better for the price we pay. Servers didn’t clear our table or refill our waters. Most were chatting and standing around. We went for dinner this time but would love to try the lunch buffet next time.

Recently ordered their special Shahi shahajani biryani. It was really bad. To be specific it had some leafy vegetables in it. It was more like some gravy tossed with rice. It was no where near biryani, more like some masala rice. The only good thing about this Restaurant is the ambiance. Other than that there is nothing much to talk about. Non-alcoholic drinks can be totally avoided. We ordered Aam panna and Jal jeera. We went there on our friends bday on a Friday evening. There wasnt any waiting. We took home made cake n we asked staff if they can bring it on a plate on our cue when our friend arrives and they quickly agreed to it. We had our 2 year old baby with us. The staff politely took away they silverware and crockery in front of her seat (which we liked and would have asked ourselves) and replaced it with colorful plastic crockery - the whole set (plate, glass, fork, spoon) - loved it. Our daughter loved made use of all of them sitting on her baby seat. Our friends arrived with another bday cake and the staff took that and placed a candle in that one as well. While we were about to cut the cake, the staff brought their own camera and took our picture , multiple of them until they got a good pic of ours from their own camera. Half way through the meal we understood why they were particular about it, because they gave us a printed copy of the pic from their own camera. In this age of digital world, the physical copy of pic still beats all digital photos in our cameras. The food itself was awesome, we ordered tomato soup with hint of green pepper, aloo tikki covered with roasted vermicilli, dum aloo (veggie of our own choice, not in menu), kadai paneer and garlic naan. All of them were of fantastic taste.Overall we spent 2 hours but the staff never rushed us to finish and go out. At the end, we saw our baby made a mess on the floor, for which again staff didnt frown up and were considerate of the baby.5 star experience overall.

Went for a weekend buffet and not impress with the quality. Let’s start with the good - lamb kebab, daal, pani puri and gulab jamun were really good. Their kids menu was also good with plenty to chose from. We ordered butter chicken and our son liked it. However everything else in buffet disappointed us. I would have returned the paneer tikka and chicken tikka had it been an a la crate order ( dry, cold and chewy. Need I say more). But given the small portions being served on table we just chose not to eat them. Tikki, rest of the appetisers, Amritsari fish and paneer main course were ok ish, definitely not worth recommending.Tips : try their a la carte menu. Our friends recommendation not mine.Go to buffet slightly later. We went close to start and can only assume the food quality was low if it was leftover from last night or cooked way before lunch time.

Tuck quietly within the hotel. Secluded and not easy to find. Overall pricey and serves typical northern Indian cuisine. Had the normal naan and chicken masala. Tried this special appetizer dish as shown in the picture. Acquired taste but otherwise worth a try. Apparently its a street food where it is sold in India. You have to pour the liquid and pop the whole ball into your mouth. The cracker will pop and the liquid will flow in your mouth. Menu is quite expensive. Thus be prepared to pay quite a bit to feast there.
