No proper registration done here only in single line of 20 people and done in slow process by one male person ,seems like he is sleeping and least bothered for us.. I have been waiting since 8:30 and now m in 10th place.

If yoy are not a SAIL employee better to avoid this hospital. They give first preference to SAIL employees. First they provide consultation to 30 patients of SAIL then private patients so please dont go their if you have other questions. Some good doctors are available here but they dont give you sufficient time due to huge rush. Only one Gastrointestinal doctor is available in Rourkela which is available in this hospital only. Dr. P K Mohapatra is a DM Gastroenterology.

I want to share my experience through this medium which is worst for a girl..The doctors are highly experienced , they can judge ur character easily by looking at ur face..(if u r a girl,unmarried and u have any gynae problem)I want to mention the name of the most experienced gynae doctor MRS.MADHUSMITA SAHOO, who said me that u must have a bf because of that u r facing such type of problems. After listening this my mind was totally blank how could a doctor of my mothers age behaved with me like that.Nd the I most interesting thing is that I have already googled about my problem which suggest me that the reason may be diabetics or pH imbalance. But the doctor didnt give these type of reasons. It is me who asked her about diabetes and all. After that she realised that it might be the reason and then she wrote for sugar test and urine test. The most embarrassing thing was that a male doctor was present at that time. That harassed me and I will teach her a lesson soon.Dont go to igh is my suggestion. If u r facing this kind of things teach them a lesson they need to know that they r humans too .

Its a worst hospital. The nurses doesnt know to put IV lines as well no mercy & kindness.No ward boy or girls are available to push the stature.Senior doctors are compatible & knowledgeable other wise junior doctors no knowledge. If the person is serious better not to go...

This hospital is managed by SAIL. It is very helpful for RSP employees and their family. They get treatment almost freely for this hospital. Rourkela people mostly depend upon this hospital. All most all the medical equipment are available for the treatment. Recently govt of India declared as super speciality hospital and medical college.

Extremely bad, uncooperative behaviour from hospital staffs, nurses. Doctors are ok-ish but absolutely negligent. There is also a sort of partialityI towards SAIL employees, if youre not one then you wont be given preference or proper attention. If you want proper care, good behaviour, and also have money to spare, better look elsewhere.

The staff, doctors are irresponsible and very ill mannered. They dont think that a person is a human being but rather just a subject of their experimentation. They dont care if you are in pain , they will Scold you because you are in pain.My sister was admitted for a fistula surgery. They did the surgery without any anaesthesia. When she cried in pain they scolded her . The dressing staff never did their duty properly for which the wound did not heal for a month. Another doctor came started experimenting by again applying surgical instruments on the already operated wound. When she cried out of pain , the doctor cursed her that she will never recover. The staff and nurses are so ill trained that to find a vein they have inserted 16 times one needle.She had to be taken to a private hospital to be cured.The patient will not recover out of any disease ,rather will die out of trauma , or infection or sheer negligence. Beware!!,

The best government hospital in Rourkela. There are sufficient beds for admitting patients. The environment is clean and tidy.Sometimes the unit becomes the only hope for people from surrounding areas and the next big hospital is in Cuttack. So sometimes there is delay in attending the patients. Some doctors are not punctual too. The staff are rude.

It is the wrost hospital i hv ever seen in my life. I was addmited for fever and they said its pnemonia then said no its TB . Drs are really bad .They dont know how to treat a patient they just do experiment on patient.When they failed they simply reffered you to another hospital. Hospital deserve zero star. If you want to die then go to ispat Genaral Hospital. In its name it describe that only General treatment can be done. If any other measure related treatment you have been admitted at IGH then surely you will be died at hospital.only free treatment for sail employee and that to only General treatment like fever cold stitching of injuries.There is no such speciality doctors available here.

One of the best hospitals in the district. Treatment is average, but its wide range of departments and availability of doctors and other staffs makes the hospital versatile. Policies are not that good, treatment here is like theyll suck your money to some extent.

I just want to give negetive points to this hospital. I think there are no qualified Dr. Is here. They simply cant diagnosis the disease. After admitting one week they recommend my aunt to Aiims. Where they treatment with only medicine without any addmission. Behavior is very rude of nurses.

One of the best hospital in this region ,I saw people from this region attending in large numbers get their treatment with minimum expenditure as the hospital prime objective is to treat patients with minimum expenditure. I love this hospital and full trust.

It is the best government hospital in Rourkela its just so clean and it has full ac and here doctors are very good they will treat u with great care and there is a parking lot for all the vehicles and its a very big hospital so if u are new so i would recommend asking someone where should u be treated... If u tell the doctors in detail what has happend to u they will give u the exact medicines this is the best place to be treated.

Doctor are very hard working here. They deserve a better pay and more respect in here. Ultimately they are the cream of society..I saw them crying alone in their duty room when patient died. Very heart tearing incidence. They tried day and night but only God can do the MAGIC..Hope every one can try doctors shoe one day before blaming them.

Why I am writing this: yesterday one of our neighbor aged about 40 died in hartattack due to doctor ignore. He went to doctor, before it happened, doctor gave gas medicine, without even basic check up harbeat and blood pressure. After 15 minutes of reaching home he fell down and died in front of his family members.A SAIL employee working hard to make the RSP running and generate revenue. Eventually what he got death. Hope the same sad incident shouldnt happened to anyone.So ESP employee and other SAIL employee take strong step to improve the situation. We all are drowning. Raise voice, help yourself and help your family and everyone.This is a hospital having basic needs butRSP need to invest money, should hire good doctor with better salary and improve modern medical equipments. MRI waiting time is minimum 1 week, MRI results prineted in dot printer. Blood report are hand written in normal paper.

If u just want to let ur dear ones die pls go to IGH.... my father had brain stroke nd fell from his bike, his leg and shoulder was broken but our respected hospital did not even admit him saying it was just mild external injury... we took him to other hospital he had ct scan nd diagnosed a massive clot in his left hemisphere nd was transferred to bhubneshwar in emergency.... pls dont trust them..

Ispat General Hospital (IGH) established by Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP).It is known as one of the best hospitals in Rourkela.Generally It is for the employees belongs to the plant (RSP).Having good medical staffs and doctors.It gives good medical treatment . Maintained by RSP.But now a days the quality is falling....

My advice will be if you have cough & cold or any small disease go and treat in (IGH) but anything else other than that is dangerous, I feel doctors in there are irresponsible they think about themself only they dont care about the patient, IMPORTANT - I think if you go to this hospital with a serious patient 1st they will say we will take care every thing is ok you dont have to worry about anything, later [ IF THEY COME TO YOU FOR SIGNNETURE MEANS YOU HAVE LOST OUR LOVED ONCE ] , I lost my loved one i feel if he was taken to any other hospital he would have been saved. There was a time (Early 90s) when this place was counted as one of the best hospital in the state with awesome team of medical staffs, medical procedure facilities, quality medical care for RSP employees, their family members as well as regular citizens..

This is not a one time visit and review therefrom. Ive grown up visiting this hospital since last 35 years.IGH, One of the worst hospital in Rourkela in terms of service and hospitality (Earlier some Doctors were really very good, I owe to the Ortho dept and especially Dr. LK Biswal, Hes the best Orthopaedic doctor in Rourkela).The only reason people still go to this hospital, is because either you are a RSP employee, or its sort of the biggest hospital in Rourkela (ironically).There are no more good doctors in IGH. Many good doctors have already left and theyve not recruited any good doctors in place of them. Now you get to see some fresher trainee doctors roaming around.Staffs and thier behaviour is worst, especially the Guards, Nurses, Ward boys and ward ladies.Moreover, They dont allow more than one Person with the patient even if its a surgical or critical case. The same rule applies even In big private hospitals but there, the hospital staffs do everything.. I repeat everything, Ive personally seen and was delighted to see that. So then, you actually dont need multiple people with the patient.Here in IGH, I went to the nurse room to request the nurse to send someone to empty the urine bag, they replied me to do it myself. At times, when the patient is critical, one attendant cannot manage to assist him/her in getting up, in going to toilets etc and in hospital no one is there to help, hence patients insist to have atleast 2 attendants.God save the hospital.. it wont be far to see it abandoned if they dont change.

I can not give more than one star for this hospital. one star is only for very few genuine staff and doctors working there. I born and brought up in Rourkela so I am well know about this hospital. Day by day the services , treatments everything going worst to worst. They kill people. Whether its is lack of proper knowledge, carelessness or revenge they torture patient, patients family members. Since no good hospital in the city, people go there with no option. In my part it was really very upsetting seeing the situation there. In my vacation i used to go there for my mothers dialysis. I go to different departments, I have seen the pathetic condition there. Staff and mainly nurses including security guards are heartless and badly rude. From top to bottom all are corrupted. doctors are just enjoying good facility of SAIL and handsome salary, they play dirty politics. I am not a doctors but I work in a world renowned hospital since years so i have common sense, so confidently I can say I lost my mother because of IGHs recklessness and stupidity. I would request the higher management of RSP to understand and look into the mater. its not only my voice its the voice of thousands Rourkela and nearby people.
