Dilip Tirkey Stadium or DTS is a football cum hockey stadium located in sector one, of city Rourkela. The stadium is full operated by National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. The DTS has been host to numerous high-profile college functions, students organized campus festivals and sports tournaments. The stadium was made in the name of living legend Dilip Tirkey an international renowned hockey player.Very big Stadium.All type of function held here.It has a very big gallery.

This is one of the stadium of nitrkl . Physical education clases are taker here . Inter hall football tournaments are played here . Other programmes like ganapati festival, innovision are also conducted.

Stadium is open spacious.Good for football and cricket.Nit cultural fest and sports events Vriddhi are hosted earlier. All is good and the red soil beside the field adds color to visiting ground and definitely to our cloth.

It is the Football stadium of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. On the side, it also contains the hockey court and a stage which is used to martial arts to the interested students. It has a pavilion under which other games like table tennis, etc. are played. It is the most crowded place in the evenings.

The field has sufficient floodlights. The ground is not entirely grassy hence heavy rain can spoil the ground making it muddy. Cleanliness is top notch.
