Quality of food was good but restaurant was not cleaned enough. Even table and floor was not cleaned properly. Feel like they have less staff. portion was very small. Also they dont give normal tap water you need to pay for water bottle and they only accept cash and next to restaurant cash machine is chargeable.

Best curry I’ve had outside of Leicester (bless). This is a legit Punjabi joint that serves some of the best tasting curry you can get. It’s a no frills environment that focuses on atmosphere and authentic food. I’m fussy with Indian food, but this place was consistent across every dish. Top tier.

This authentic Punjabi restaurant serves excellent cuisines with a great variety of choices on the menu.The food was served promptly and portion sizes were excellent. The food was freshly prepared and had great flavour. You have the option for spicy or mild for most if not all of the items.There is great choice for vegetarian food although the desserts menu could be expanded in comparison to other Punjabi restaurants.The staff were attentive and there is a homely atmosphere. I wouldnt recommend visiting with young children after 9pm as some of common customers tend to use inappropriate language at times.There is no on site parking and the local streets have restricted parking zones. However, there is parking within a few minutes of the restaurant.As a tip, ask for butter to accompany all your dishes, adds more flavour.

Have only had takeaways from the Desi Tadka as only discovered this amazing restaurant during the lockdown periods. However I must say the food I have had is wonderful . I can’t recommend this authentic Indian Restaurant highly enough. If you are in the area of Hayes or can get a takeaway you MUST try this outstanding 5* restaurant. The food is world class !

Food Was so spicy, couldnt even taste the flavours. Portions were very small , food was ice cold, seemed like they freeze their foods and heat up when people order. Absolutely disgusting, will not be using or recommending this place to anyone

Fantastic food and service for a good price. Besides quality, authenticity is important. It is very popular within the Indian community as well.A risk with Indian food is that tastes are similar because they make a few base sauces and then mix for the different dishes. Here everything is made separate and original.

Brilliant place for eating authentic Indian food. You can see picture frames of famous Punjabis, it has Punjabi music being played in the background. Food is so good that you will feel that youre eating in India itself. The only downside is parking is an issue which you have to sort out somehow. But food is so good that you can forget it. You must go if you love Indian food.

Places like this make me cross - a bit of theatre and excitement when welcoming customers should just be standard. I visited the place in 2012 and its supposed to be one of the Authentic Punjabi food places. I liked the food and as a bonus, there was a live singer and dancer there too. It doesnt look too upmarket, but it did, it wont be authentic to try to find middle-ground? Will visit again.

The food is really good and inexpensive. However the BYO alcohol concept means that there are mainly large groups of young males. A few years ago that wasnt a problem for families. By and large the lads were very respectful. Sadly those days are gone. Dont come here with your wife and kids.

I believe, Desi Tadka has the best menu and authentic flavoured cuisine in entire Southall and Hayes area. Everytime I visit Southall, I always have to have dinner/lunch at Desi Tadka, its great service and value for money.

Disgusting. Dont ever go here! Staff are lazy and rude. Mix grill was first to arrive and was really disappointed. No sizzling when arrived onions were raw the was no meat on the lamb chops, just bone. everything else looked raw and not cooked. The orange juice looked and tasted like it had been watered down. I cant imagine what the rest of the food was going to be like so we left and went to prince of Wales in old southall. I have added a picture of the food at prince of wales to show everyone the quality and presentation and if I could the kindness of the staff.Hahaha the deleted the picture. They so dumb why did t they delete this comment also

Great atmosphere, great food at a great price

If you want to experience a traditional Indian restaurant then look no further, I believe on weekends they have live bhangra dancers who come and bring joy to everyone who dines in. Great place, loads of off street parking available.
