Update: Rating downgraded !! Most of the staff doesnt wear mask. I even complained this to the guy sitting on reception ( who himself was not wearing mask- pics attached). That guy and staff were so rigid that even after my complaint and subsequent clicking of pictures, they didnt wore the mask.Amazing place. Eating here since my school days. They have now opened a new outlet just nearby as family hall. Food quality and quantity is amazingly amazing. Half plate of any gravy dish would be enough for two people and only cost you very less amount. Trust me...you wont get disappointed by the quantity of the food served. You order something and they give you something else without even checking what customer has asked for.Do not listen properly what actually has been ordered and then argue with the customer to prove to themselves correct.Even saw a live issue with a Zomato delivery boy who also had a similar sort of concern and for an instance the whole restaurant workers and owners gathered against the delivery boyHighly disappointed as earlier I used to recommend this restaurant to others, but they are not worth it.

Today is 22 July I had a Dinner with my father bcoz my father like NOn veg food so I went to Punjabi Dhaba and ordered butter chicken there but I dont know that what I had there bcoz food was is totally Bakwash and waste of money and the butter tandoori Tori is little over cooked around the corner and I asked for again salad and the waiter come after 10 minutes and in chicken there is no Butter and really I dissapointed and now I observe that Punjabi Dhaba owners earn money only they are not giving any service properly I will never go again there and not suggest to go there bcoz they charge you lots of money but not giving quality in food. I requested to all my friends that dont go there plz eat food where quality comes dont go to popular places where you waste your money. Thanks

We loved the place ,yummm dal makhni and paneer butter masala.

I think thr chef has changed, butter chicken was so so spicy, also never never buy spring rolls from punjabi dhaba, they can offer good chicken but not chinese, road side spring rolls are better and half the rate.Disappointed!!!!

Dont buy any food because by mistake I give rs.650 and the order is of rs.510 and when I call them the delivery boy is lying you have gave only rs.510 ,so dont buy food and the food quality is very bad

I ordered chicken biryani from here and it didnt tasted like biryani at all but was like a normal pulao. The biryani also was excessively spicy which a normal person finds difficulty to eat. Worst biryani ever!

Dont order using Zomato.My last two consecutive orders were late and they dont even apologize for that.

I really enjoyed the service and the chicken. Being a non veg lover its very hard to be in Roorkee and not go to punjabi dhaba. One of the oldest shop of chicken in town. However i fo sometimes feel that their quality has seen a slight decline with time. But nonetheless, its a great place to hang out with friends and family. Do try lemon chicken. They make it really good.

Dhaba in roorkee .i had enjoyed parantha wth dahi many time.all tyoe of parantha are available here.as the name indicate punjabi , its flavour of food are also give indication of punjab.if u want to enjoy food in roorkee i will suggest u to visit here once.all type of namkeen, snakes , fast food , nutrient food ,dahi ,lassi are abailable.i had enjoyed my meal many time from here wth my frnd .and i love it.never forget the taste of parantha.

Punjabi Dhaba are well known in this area. We had dinner here a few times with friends. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We enjoyed the food and meal was served hot and excellent taste. I will recommend this place. Must try at once.
