Faculties are brilliant enough. Campus jas lot more facilities that no one else has. Facilities Such as hostel & bank & library, labs, conference room, garden & park, ground, sports game courts gym and so on. I loved it from the bottom of my heart 💞😍❤️

Beautiful campus. Cold too, warm too.Found some puppies and dogs...but no traces of cats and kittens. Also saw a lot of squirrels.😉Large auditorium.Bhawans are pretty decent.I think only male bhawans are provided with a balcony though.Central library is beautiful tho.And guest houses are prettier than hostels and residences for sure.

In terms of exposure :-Although all iits are unique in itself but IIT Roorkee has its own charm. Many different types of groups and clubs are there in iit roorkee which will help freshers to explore their life after putting so much of hardwork in JEE. Some of the groups which publish some important magazine related to technology and IIT culture also. So these groups work on content writing , budget management, coding part etc. Other groups include dramatics , cinematic, dancing , debating etc. the list is too long. There are some coding group also like IMG and Sds labs. I wanted to tell you that even official site of IIT Roorkee is maintained by some of these groups.So student can go anywhere according to his interest and can explore himself. you will get ample of opportunity to make your personality better. But every group have some recruitment procedure in which they select some students.In terms of academics :-Some of the professors of IITR teach in very nice way and also helping in nature. But excluding these some professors, remaining most of the professors don’t show interest in students. and i would say there exist a gap between student and professors. Most of the profs teach their student by slide even mathematics and physics.There is not so much burden on students regarding their studies. but how much requirement of study ??? It depends on every department. Some have the branches get very little leisure time due to project, assignment etc. and also some branches are there in which student get lot of free time. But it depends on every individual how he or she takes her studies. But remember one thing here in IIT Roorkee you have to rely only on self study.Outside environment :-I think most of you knows that ROORKEE is famous only because of IIT ROORKEE. There is nothing good in roorkee city except iit. Even Roorkee is not the district of Uttarakhand. it comes under Haridwar district. Only one place is there outside college that is solani river where usually we go at our leisure.But despite of these things, there are lot of places where you can hangout with friends. The places like Dehradun, Manali , Rishikesh , Haridwar and Nainital where students generally arrange their trips after their exams.Beauty inside the campus :-As i mentioned earlier that Roorkee is famous for IIT only. The campus of IIT Roorkee is so beautiful and even i would say that it has the most beautiful campus among all IIT. There are lot of places where generally spend their time at their leisure like Nescafe , administrative block etc. Moreover most of the students get single personal room in their first year of itself but on the other hand , in most of the other iit around two three even four share single room.

Visited it during the annual Thomso fest. It was an absolute delight to be there. The campus is spacious and beautiful. Subway and Cafe Coffee Day located on campus.

One out of the 27 IITs in India . Weather is almost same as of Delhis throughout the year. 200 kms from IIT Delhi. Will update about study environment soon.

Its culture and honesty and others parameters are very significant.If any one was in iit that her fortune to be their because many of then dream to go iit but fail to get admission or fail yo qualify the main and advanced exam of iit. New Delhi- Dehradun Janshatabdi Express and Shatabdi Express have scheduled stoppage here at Roorkee.

There is photography section ,dance section ,martial arts, swimming and all other activities. I used to come here for tech seminars!
