Stayed in the dorms. It was very clean with two washroom and had a good vibe to it. Even the common open area was peaceful. A hard working and supporting team running cool property and taking care of everyone needs. I recommend this hostel for great time👍✌😀

One of the best places I have ever stayed till today. A really wonderful place with an absolutely amazing and stunning views and a perfect location in Rishikesh. The USPs of the places are its location, the ambience and the absolutely amicable and helpful behaviour of the hotel staff. Specially Dada who takes care of everything here. He is one of sweetest and caring person I have ever met. Very helpful and ofcourse knowledgeable guy. He picked me up on scooty in the middle of the night when I reached there as I was new to the location. I was really overwhelmed with such warmth and great level of hospitality. Being from the hospitality industry from past 16 years I have seen such level of commitment towards guest Services very rarely. Orchid hotel and hostel lived upto my expectations of true hospitality. The best part is that you dont feel that you are at a hotel/ hostel. It gives you the feeling, comfort and coziness of your own home. What more one can ask for. The owner of the property Sagar was also there during my stay. Got to interact with him and his family. Really nice, sweet and gentle people. Very helpful and kind people. I must mention Santosh who is one of the staffs here. He was really helpful and nice person. The tea he made was an heavenly experience. I stayed in dormatory here as I wanted to take an experience of the same being a solo traveler and it was amazing. This place does have individual rooms and family rooms as well so its a place for all kind of travelers. Specially the people who travel solo and love to meet interesting and amicable people then this is place guys. They help you in everything from getting in here till getting around in Rishikesh, advices, suggestions and much more. Overall I great experience and true value for your money. A true example of class apart hospitality, picturesque view, value for Money and great humanity. I would strongly recommend this place to everyone. Great place. Really impressed.

A nice hotel and hostel which is new and hence all facilities are sparkling clean. Its in the middle of tapovan just around zostel. Would recommend for family and couples as well as singles.

Hotel view is really very nice and in 1299/ they providing standard double bed room including yummy breakfast ,staff is also very friendly I recommend this hotel for stay .

The Orchid is a special place. I have stayed there on several occasions and under vastly different circumstances. In the winter, the showers are hot and the patio is a great place to sit with a book in the sun or dine al fresco. In the summer, it is just a short walk to the river for a refreshing dip or a slightly longer walk uphill to the small waterfall.If you are curious about trekking or pilgrimage tours, please ask for Sumit. With his assistance, I was able to complete the Uttrakhand Char Dam (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri & Yamunotri). As a novice trekker during a time when A LOT of paperwork was required for foreigners to move around Uttrakhand, seeing Kedarnath and Gomukh would not have been possible without his professional guidance.

Worst experience. Upon visit at the hostel I was informed that ac of the dormetary is not working and it was suggested by the receptionist that they wouldnt be able to accommodate me and provide their services. Moreover, as I had done advance booking and advance payment was made by me, refund of full amount was promised to me but despite making several calls and repeated request my payment is not yet refunded. I would suggest you not to go for it and even if you visit there dont make any advance online payment.

Rooms are specious , very cooperative staff

So clean. Dry room (hard to find in Rishikesh lol) and very nice hot shower. Staff friendly and helpful, very accommodating.Highly recommended. I decided Ill stay here again before leaving Rishikesh (after a few days at an Ashram).
