Location is great but food was not. Taste of food is below average.but price is too high.this restaurant has the best view of Gangaji otherwise not good for food lovers.cleanliness is average service is also average. Sitting arrangement is good but food served hare have the taste like of a very cheap dhaba.Other hotels have better quality food and service.

Back of the restaurant has Riverside view which is great at the evening time. Liked the food but little expensive. We ordered I guess 5 dishes in which nothing was the main course. We had to pay 1200 rupees.

Just one star for the location and view. Order some tea or coffee. Their food is very sub quality sandwiches for Rs 130.there was no fillings at all inside not even butter. Yes I had asked for less mayonnaise but they gave me few chopped veggies and no butter no mayonnaise.

There are two restaurants, one facing the road and the other facing the Ganga. The one facing the road looks like a family restaurant and the other one is the one we visited.The restaurant is located at prime location, but the food and the service both are in horrible state. The waiter who was serving us was drunk and trying to talk for no reason. The tables were dirty, so were the mats. The paneer sizzler and the Hello to The Queen didnt taste that good

Best aloo paratha and bhature made from wheat flour was surprisingly good.hands down comfortable indian food with less masala ...you can easily fill up your tank without worrying about consiquences

Ordered Rs 70 fixed basic thali without extra refill. Taste was not good or bad also. Filling enough for short eaters.Location was just before laxma julha. Service was quick and credit cards, wallets, google pay accepted here.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 2 weeks and we really liked it. The rooms were clean, with cleaning on request, filtered water and enough space.The owner was there every time just if you have any problem. It is placed directly in the middle of the laxman jula side in rishikesh and perfect to get either to ram jula or to the other side :)All in all we can recommend the rooms in lucky hotel, also because of the fair prices.We will definitely come back!

This is a cozy cafe near the Ganga river. One can enjoy the best views of the Ganges, Laxman Jhoola while sipping coffee and enjoying music. There are different styles of seating areas including tables, mats, floor seating, and offers quilts too while you enjoy your meals.A good location to click pictures.

Medium quality food and medium service (by western standards). I had the mushroom dosa and the mushrooms were clearly not fresh but came out of a pan. The salad comes without dressing. The ambience is not very clean and cozy. Value for money is good.

Good food at low prices. I was pleasantly surprised as I was not expecting the food to be that good. Also the location of the restaurant next to the river and walking bridge is really nice.

Recently built by the same owner below the restaurant, this cafe is located along the Ganges where you can enjoy your meals with the view of holy River.- Food: The food tastes awesome and lovely. A lot of different varieties is available ranging from Continental to Indian cuisine. International dishes are also available because many foreigner visit in Rishikesh. Do try their burgers as they are the best here.- Cafe: The cafe is well maintained with ample space for sitting and with great lighting. Overall, a nice and cozy place to eat and relax. Also, you get bed cushions if you want to just relax and chill.- Staff: The staff is very generous and humble. Everyone tries there level best to help their customers.The order will take some time (around 20-25 minutes) because they prepare everything fresh. From dough of tikki to veggies, everything is made according to the order. Thats why the food tastes marvellous. So its worth your patience.I definitely recommend this place to all my fellow travelers coming to Rishikesh as this cafe is one of the best eating points.

Cool place for stay with nice location. personalized room services offered by Mr Nikhil is great. we had dinner at the Luckys river side cafe and it was delicious, also its nice place to sit and spend your time facing the river. Rooms were cleaned and we got extra bed sheets and towels also. Just order a morning tea or coffee and you will also get a nice Biscuit platter which is complimentary surprise from Nikhil. Rooms prices are very reasonable, we had all such great experience just for Rs 700 a night.

Excellent tasty authentic food, fast service, lovely staff, and great view. Would highly recommend to anyone, great value for money. Must try the Dal fry, mushroom fried rice and the lemon ginger honey tea!

The New Lucky Cafe is one of my favourite restaurants in Rishikesh. It offers a delightful view on the Ganges River a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space to sit. The food is rich, yummy and cheaper than the other restaurants in the area.Sometimes the playlist chosen are jumping a bit too much from one genre to another, but it has never bothered me.Definitely a place to visit.

Hospitality shown to guests is the best what i like about this hotel. We always visit Haridwar Rishikesh once every 2 or 3 years. This time i choose lucky hotel for my stay. Great location, very good and friendly welcome by Mr Nikhil the general manager. Rooms are clean with sufficient linen and other essentials just the bathroom mirror is little smaller. Service is nice. Nikhil also arranged our taxi for dehradun market .From now onwards lucky hotel will be my permanent stay destination for coming years. Best regards and good wishes for Nikhil.

After you cross laxmanjhula this hotel lucky is nearby. Rooms are little small but very comfortable and clean. We were 5 adults so decided to stay in two rooms, view from behind balcony is very good. Manager nikhil also have fridge for chilled drinking water. He is a nice knowledgeable person and will guide you on how to get to nearby places. 50 rupee for a tea is expensive but in early morning you have no options but room service is no doubt very excellent, they also provide u toothpaste and soaps.

The cafe is located on the ghats of river Ganges. It has spectacular view great atmosphere and amazing crowd. Food served is decent but made to suit the taste buds of foreigners. One has to tell in advance about taste preference else be prepared to be served bland food

What to say.. this place which looks totally some basic hotel from outside in fact has a tremendous charm beneath. I was surprised once when i was allocated that river view ganga room what they say . Sferra Luxury Duvet Cover bedsheets was the first very impression. Hardly in India very few hotels have those bed sheets. Cleanliness was superb with 2 towels and soaps already kept in the room. Nikhil the manager had done an excellent job, No wonder Lucky Hotels name is mention in some Reputed Magazine 2017 for best hotels in India. Great going. Excellent.

Perfection at its finest. Nikhil is the best. The only hotel I found in india where Guests are treated as God as theirs a very popular saying in india. I booked my room prior arriving at the hotel, it was amazing room for my 3 nights stay at Luckys. Clean bedsheets,towels were already kept in the room. Peace and beautiful location and world class room service.

Lucky cafe in the centr of Laxman jhula ,very clouse to Ganga. Fantastic place. Good vegetarian food for all tastes and good price. If yuo come with group to the Lucky Cafe Also you can try big quantity of food and of place for everybody . Place has nice view from the dining area which makes only the plus point of this restro for which i gave a star, but the food was not up to my taste buds and satisfying, waiter was busy chatting with a foreign tourist (this is normal in rishikesh as locals are so found of them and we indians are not on their priority list). Cleanliness is ok but washroom had a very pungent smell and unclean and no hand towels and lastly the final blow, they overcharge you as per the food quality they serve.

Food and service was good

Food is good but the service is very poor. Only one person was taking orders from everyone and took around 45 mins to get our order. You will find foreigners sitting next you in the shack.

Awesome Memorial NightThis was the perfect holiday trip for me and my friends. We had planed for some camping fun actually but due to delay in our schedule we finally decided to stay at Luckys. Nikhil booked the entire hotel floor for 7 of us. We spend the most enjoyable time at the hotel with Complimentary Pizzas and fabulous room service .

A great place to eat breakfasts with beautiful sight to the bridge and the ganga! I ordered musley with fruits twice and it was just perfect. The staff is great, especially Cool who is really cool. I really recommend this place!

Food is pretty mediocre. Better places to eat with the same view nearby. Staff does not seem to want to be there..

To be honest whenever I travel for holidays I am not in habit of writing reviews about places, I simply recommend it to friends and others but about Luckys I think it will be not fair if I dont post a web recommendations. My stay at the hotel was nice and appreciated one. Rooms were basic and clean. We Left for haridwar around before midnight as we had a train journey but after reaching their I realized that I had forgotten my travel tickets at the hotel .But Mr Nikhil took care of the panic situation and soon arranged a taxi man to deliver my tickets and documents all the way from laxman jhula to haridwar station within the shortest time. I was so much surprised by such a kind generosity by hotel manager and the taxi driver Mr Rana.

Easy and cosy place at the Ganga river where you can have food and drinks in the garden. On both sides you can see ghats where people wash there body in the Ganga river. The Italians that ordered the spagetti didnt like it. So that could be improved. However, we liked the Indian food we ordered.

One of the very dirty restaurant we saw during our tour of north india. food is tasteless and atmosphere is very pathetic, when i came out of washroom the waiter who served our table was standing right outside the bathroom and smiling towards me and trying to make some advances. Hell place . we went straight out without eating our food.

Indian food is my favorite and I know what is good and what is bad since i have been to so many different places before. This is the worst place i have been to so far! Not a good place to eat. The food looked like muck and I got sick afterwards, as if they poured a bunch of salt and food colouring with it. The naan was stale and clearly was store bought. They then burnt one side of it. Cheap and not good at all, their was small caterpillar in green peas. Stale food. Service was not that great, it looked the waiter had just smoked or chewed some tobaco, his breath was smelling

One simple phone call and i was able to book my room at Lucky Rishikesh. Room was with excellent view,very comfortable and great services offered by Mr Nikhil. Beds were clean with all required laundary and mineral water. The manager nikhil even didnt hesitate to clean the washrooms once again when we requested him to do so on our arrival,he even took care of our baggage from hotel entrance to our room. Being midnight he already arranged fast food parcels for us as we already informed him of our late arrival. On request mr nikhil provided us a heater also. Truly great loveable service.

DEFINITELY not a place to EAT- Cleaning / hygiene is a big time issue (I hope I dont get infected by parasites)Ordered Momos and tofu dish, waited patiently for 1 hour, and received half cooked dish, and excuse given - due to urgency to serve fast its half cooked, my BAD. Served momos with tomato ketchup... I showed him that its not good, serving boy even acknowledge that, still they charge for the same, doesnt make any difference for 150bucks.... tofu dish what the heck are you guys doing in eatery service... I guess they are just trying to encash tourist rush - every other person is opening up cafes with no care to serve.....My two cents... not going there ever / so that I dont get INFECTEDp.s: Are the other reviews seriously genuine? still thinking because I visited after reading them

The best about lucky hotel is its location near laxman jhula and ganga river view from the room where we stayed. We had online booking with some other nearby hotel but they simply refuse and cancel our stay telling reason over full. Thanks to lucky they managed us as walk ins.me any my wife were overwhelmed. Nikhil ji gave us a river view room and the room service was excellent. Welcome drink like buttermilk was given it was something new here. Management also arrange our rafting trip and gave us complimentary taxi service to rishikesh bus stand after our 4 night stay.Enjoyed our stay.

Located at the banks of river ganga. In Rs.10 they will give you a good quantity of tea. Be aware of mosquitos. Mostly foreigners were there in the restaurant.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful Heart. Who wakes up at 3 at midnight and comes all the way for your help?..Yes Mr Nikhil does. I had a very late arrival to Rishikesh around very late after midnight, the taxi driver vanished leaving me across laxman jhula stranded and all alone with 2 heavy bags all by myself and i was little scared. After searching on net i found Lucky Hotel nearby location and called the reception. Wow nikhil was their sooner then expected.After reaching hotel i was escorted to the one of the most beautiful clean river view room, as it was a little cold night i was given a nice big glass of hot black coffee. My Stay was really very amazing and fabulous room service and sweet welcome which i can never forget.

Best Budget Hotel. Lucky Hotel offers great stay . Clean rooms and peaceful atmosphere ,good for backpackers.They also provide baggage storeroom if u want to go trekking and leave your luggage for days. Smart management and full of energy. Rooms are cleaned daily and the complimentary breakfast on Sundays is awesome.

A constant traveler like me is always on the lookout of a hotel that can serve my needs well and Luckys was the perfect place.We reached the hotel around 2:30 midnight and were exhausted from the day long journey.After arrival we were not sure what to do about dinner but the manager Nikhil was kind enough to serve us Maggie and some coffee/biscuits. The room was pretty OK and clean,blankets and laundry was given.The best thing I like about Lucky Hotel was its world class hospitality being a simple budget hotel.

Simplicity is the first thought when u just arrive at Luckys. We had a prior booking for our 3 nights stay at this hotel. The river view room is nice with pleasant view of ganga. Service and Cleanliness is perfect. The management also took care of taxi arrangements for sight seeing and trip to Neelkhant Temple.We had our dinner ordered from the restaurant and off course it was good. Noisy during day but very quite atmosphere at night. Guide books available for references and manager personally attend all your needs and querys. Fully Recommend.

The service is great albeit the food quality is on the downside. Sitting on the first floor deck offers a great view but the hygiene is not maintained. Dont try the hamburger at all. Theres no bathroom facility and the reach to the restaurant from the road is also out of the way.

Heart of GoldFew weeks past i along with my husband during our tour to india were at this motel in Rishikesh. My husband Donald who was not so good in health at this tour was already in low light when arrived here and suddenly one night he had a stroke accompanied by pain in arms shoulders and nothing much to do i ran for help and nikhel the receptionist gave all the first aid to and fro whatever knowledge he had, he made me calm down as i was already worried and he turn out to be a life saviour. Before leaving Rishikesh we try to gift some momentous and money to nikhel but he insisted that we should donate it to some charity and he can never accept any thing for his humanity work. We were really very happy and hence thought to pen down this incident on internet.

Worst food

Not just a Hotel, its a Super Hotel.Today when am way back to home in U.S.A, I simply remember my holiday in india. Stay at Lucky Hotel in Rishikesh was one of my best holidays. Room was basic simple but it was very clean. The manager personally cleaned my room and change the laundry after every 2 days as i was suffering from some rare skin allergy issues, this was so sweet of him. He also lends you money if ATM,s go dry and also take care of your meals or restaurant bills, always ready to help, anytime i ask for hot drinking water day or night ,he made it available. One doesnot need to worry about travel tickets, bus information or anything when Nikhil(the manager)is around. Still now at home i cant believe that india is so loving and caring.

They dont treat their customer well and on top of it food quality is worst

We had cakes here but not ok, the base of the cake was very hard. it look as if its was few days old,they dont even serve you in nice clean plates, table we sat was already occupied with friendly cockroaches.

We just had the cakes here from the bakery out front which were tasty. the slices were big and filling. the guy serving us was friendly too. good for a quick treat.

The best guesthouse I saw. Big room, great location, hot water(!), working toilets (with seats!), nice owner and it all cost 300 rupees. All rooms have vents, 2 of them have A/C.

Food is not so good and service is pathetic, i was here with my family and my mother who could hardly walk as per her age . we all decided to sit at the tables near the very main door but the stupid short pig haired fatty waiter told us to go to some basement sitting as this front section was closed and no food available. we were their at that deserted joint but could not find any food of our choice, we just order some coffee and a pizza which was a total disaster, i couldnt understand the manager or was that the owner, was a total drunkard. This all was such a embarrassing situation, anyhow we all survived such a cheap restaurantbehaviour. sorry but not at all i should recommend this place to anyone.

I had a severe stomach pain after eating at this restaurant. They use adulterated cooking oil and lot of spice. Beware of this killer place if you want to stay healthy and alive.
