Awesome foodReasonable priceGreat ambiance.
We ordered the ordinary pizza, Hummus with pita for the very first time and pancakes. And Boy, we were disappointed. The pizza was all elastic with sour cheese, the hummus with pita was like roti chatni and the pancakes were very poor version of malpue made by my mother. The decor is not even that good. There are three sections , one to sit inside on chairs, sit inside on mattress and sit outside on chairs. But nothing very good. And the prices are not cheap either.
Riverside cafe with marvelous view of Ganges near Laxman Jhula in Rishikesh. It has variety of sitting arrangements. Food is also good.
One the best places to visit if your are planning to go Lakshman jhula. Situated at the bank of Ganga with such a spectacular view one tip try to get the place on the above floor where the seating is on ground but the view is worth everything. Not only the view but the food is also amazing. We order a normal Chinese plater you can say fried rice and manchurian which was awesome , but we order on Arabian dish Falafel Al which is kind of a platter with hummus and pita bread this was also remarkably good.At last we order the normal ginger lemon honey tea which was the best to take after the food. The ambiance and the location is worth everything but the food is also worth considering and that too in a budget. At last just once try to visit there at the upper floor and you’ll automatically see the magic of that location.
Best place to spend an evening in rishikesh.food is fine, but this place provides you with the best view of ganga and laxman jhula.
The only star is for the view.Food is utterly disappointing and more expensive than the places around who make it way better. We had a falafel lafa and enchiladas. The lafa bread was tasteless (no salt). The falafels werent falafels, they had none of the herbs or spices, they were just chickpea fried balls. The lafa was rolled in a weird way and it all came apart as soon as it got to the table. The enchiladas dough was also tasteless like the lafa and not cooked enough. They were greasy and oily af. As soon as I lifted one oil started pouring out making a pool in the plate.Defo not recommend. There are places with the same view and better food for lower prices.
The view is breathtaking. The weather was awesome .You can hear the ganga river flowing by , sipping on hot cup of tea.The ambience was nice too, cutely decorated with lights. However, its too costlyEverything here on the name of Indian is too much costly and taste isnt also that good.Wont recommend to have a meal. However its okay to sip a tea and munch on some snacks.Must go for the view.
Good food.. Nice place to chill with friends overlooking the ganga
It is Situated just along side the famous Laxman jhula. The View of Ganga is so peaceful and Calming , especially during the night. Wide variety of Crowd Visits here oftenly. The senic view from this place is truly a blessing. About the food, it was bit overpriced, had pasta and Veg Pizza both very poorly cooked with extra extra extra extra cheese. It was a task to eat it.
Loved it... fabulous
If you want the Rishikesh cafe experience, this is the place to come to- right along the Ganga, open-air cafe, with mostly ground seating. The food is average, but the experience makes up for it. Prices are higher than average for Rishikesh, but portion sizes are big. The majority of the time people are smoking on the outside patio, so that could be bothersome for someone who is trying to enjoy their meal/chai and who themselves doesn’t smoke. A good place to come and work on your laptop. WiFi is hit or miss in this place- depends on the electricity and connectivity. Staff is friendly. Food can take a while to come once you have ordered, which can sometimes also take a while. There is also upstairs seating here, which I didn’t discover until I came here a handful of times. You can easily walk by the stairs. All in all, worth trying at least once.
Highly recommended place for visitors. The location is best if you are looking for romantic place. The food quality is also fine except few dishes. As soon as you cross lakshman jhula this place is on right side from the T section. The only problem i have was from the interior as its not highfi but again its best as per locality. Staff and owners are very friendly and try to make you happy and homely.
3 stars only for the ganga view. Ambience is good but the quality is pathetic. The problem that i found is that staff is not able to understand the customers properly. They actually dont get you what to do and how to handle the customers. The order takes super extra time and even after waiting for long, you do not get the taste. Need to improve alot.
Food is healthy, sitting could have been better...
Celebrated my friends birthday there, we had a party of ten, and they were able to accommodate us comfortably in a room farther back from the entrance with floor seating. They provided bolsters to sit on, and most of us found it quite comfortable. They also provide chair seating in other parts of the cafe.Beautiful view of the Ganga (Ganges) river as well as Laxman Jhula, with the path to the cafe ending at the river, where you could easily dip your toes in (but not safe for swimming). The food was quite good! Not the best food I’ve had in India, but easily 7 or 8 out of 10. Good price & portion size too.Our group got to the cafe around 8:30pm and stayed past closing. They gently informed us that they were closing, but were never rude nor did we ever feel like we were getting rushed out the door. Big thanks to the staff for their patience & understanding.
Very nice location. And spacious. The ambience is also very good with view of Ganga flowing and well lit Laxman jhula in front of your eyes. The place to visit though is after 8 pm as there is very good crowd and also the vibe is very good with the cold breeze of the the Ganga river. This place is a must visit on my list everytime I go to rishikesh. Also you can drink near the ghat after this cafe is closed or sit and relax. Nobody says anything in that matter. You can relax on the ghat until as lateas 2 am.
This cozy cafe has left the best impression... I went there post watching its images on instagram and i must say it was excatly what was shown in the pics. A cozy place to chill out by the beach of river Ganga giving the amazing view of the laxman jhula ❤️. A must visit place when in Rishikesh. Food is nice!! They hve multiple sitting options from floor sitting, River view sitting and cabins inside. The staff is good.
Ordered a giant burrto from their menu and I wasnt disappointed at all! Food was very delicious, the restaurant was very empty on Friday at 6pm, and we sat upstairs overlooking the river. This is the best place for people watching, monkey watching, cow watching, and scooter watching as everyone tries to fit across the bridge. Its dinner and a show here!
Good food. Good tea but no black coffee though. Good view . My daughter had fun with little puppy rocky.
Waste place... Reviews about this place are absolutely true... Dnt even visit this place for view... Other resorts hv better view and better food too... Pathetic place with awful food.
This colourful spot is absolutely perfect for relaxing in the cool mountain breeze on the banks of Mother Ganga. It is literally situated in the shadow of the famous Laksman Jula. The food is pretty good. The chai is very hot. And the entrance to the restaurant is opposite a small shrine at the top of the ghat, with stairs down to the water. So it really is great for puja (prayers) and a bite to eat. ;-)
Very good. Excellent cold coffee. Pizza too was good. Nice view. Prompt service. Relaxed atmosphere.
Ma place in rishikesh hahahaThe food is not the best but the crew and view are out of this world! Love it!
View is nice view. But food is so so. Came here after 2 years but food is same mediocre, like before, especially for that price what they asking. And filter coffee is horrible, very watery and transparent.Could recommend only if you want to enjoy view nothing else.
This cafe is very near to river ganga. you can feel coolness of ganga water in this cafe. food is good
Loved the view from here 😍Especially the Ganga special thali is too good
Quiet place, just by river...and good food
Comfort and fraidly
Good location good musicUtter trash food n hospitality!
Best place to chill in rishikesh
Gr8 ambience and food too.
Godd place near to laxman jhoola
We came here several times in our brief trip to Rishikesh. The views were beautiful at sunset and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend any of their pancakes and their delightfully zingy fresh lemon juice. The gentleman who ran the cafe was very generous and very kind to us, we really felt like family. We just couldnt help coming back for more amazing food and perfect cold coffee frappes. We will definitely come back on our next visit, thank you thank you thank you !!
Best restaurant in town, really nice food and amazing atmosphere. Have not been disappointed once in my daily visits here.
Good cafe
Its a great place to have good food and enjoy beautiful scenery of Ganges flowing and the mountains with all the greenery. The food is excellent with a lot of variety. Definitely if you are near this restaurant and want to enjoy the scenery with food, its a great place for you. The service is slower, but if you are there to chill then why not wait for it.
This place is located at the bank of beautiful Ganga near the Laxman Jhula. Very unnoticeable and hard to find with map as well. Take local advise. Its an awesome cafe with a theme of Indian sitting and culture with wonderful colors. It has good books and international menu.
Messed my order up and then tried to tell me for several minutes that I didnt tell them correctly when several people had heard me say the correct order. After we left three of the people in my group got sick (me being one of them). Would not recommend
Prettiest...adorable... Nice view of Ganga from here.... Charming...stylish
This place is very close to Laxman Jhula, so parking 2 wheelers can be an issue, serves good Indian food and hot tava rotis. We tried the Grilled Platter and Thali which had Mushroom Mutter masala with Kaali Dal which was very good except Mixed Veg Raita. The owner, a nice guy and entertaining his guests with his banter.Must visit for the food and the banterDirt cheap so dont expect clean table cloths.
Good ambience and views, photogenic. But food was barely average. Shakshouka was just okay and fries were not that great. Chinese noodles had a weird generic flavor, didnt stand out. Lassi was really sour.
Indian twist is missing in the food, they try to please foreigners mainly... rating is basically for the view and ambiance ,just mesmerizing
Great ambience, by the banks of mother ganga. Delicious food. Approx Rs.350 per person with drinks (Non-alcoholic) ofcourse when in Rishikesh. Must visit.
Good seating arrangement near the Ganga. The staff is not very warm . Tried the ginger lemon honey tea which was decent, the way it taste everywhere. The Nutella pancake tasted good. You can try that.
Amazing ambience, Great view of Ganga River and also amazing food
Edible but not tasty. After seeing such great reviews we went during the evening. The view over the Ganges and seating area is nice. The staff are pleasant and friendly. But the food was sooooo bland. Its the blandest meal weve had in the 6 weeks that weve spent in India. The waiter said he could make the curry spice but this definitely wasnt delivered. We ordered the Ganges Special Mix Veg, which the waiter said is in a flavourful gravy. With it being a special of theirs we thought itd be fantastic but it really was like eating watery veg, the garlic naan was okay, but a little dry and again not very flavoured.I cant comment on he rest of the menu but I would certainly not recommend the Ganges Special.
Liked the food and shakes. The service is pretty slow but otherwise its good. the views are nice too.
Simply awesome. You can have delicious food with Ganges flowing besides you. They give you quality food, quantity wise its good too. We three shared one single veg Biryani.!
Probably the worst meal we’ve had in India so far. The setting is beautiful- right on the river Ganges. However, the staff are unwelcoming with no smile. We ordered the lafa with falafel and chips. You can tell it was made with absolutely no love and care. The chips had clearly been cooked a day or so before and there was generally no flavour in the wrap. Nothing fresh about it. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great view. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Good Food, right on the banks of the Ganges near Lakshman Jhula! Worth a visit.
