Ranchi Science Center is a great place for kids. There is so much for kids to learn and play by simply observing several physics model installed in the campus and inside Vigyaan Bhavan. Kids specially enjoy the Dinosaurs park. I specifically like the Planetorium. It is totally worth it. With a little more of care and maintenance, this place is bound to attract more people in coming days.

It is closed for another 1-2 weeks. I went there today but no luck. I have visited this place around 2 years ago as well. Old machines, mostly not working. Maintenance issue. Waste of time

Great location.. Well managed and mannered staff.. Good place for kids and family. Education hub.. Just one suggestion.. Administration must appoint a volunteer to demonstrate the stuff at science center. Planetarium is amazing.. What a great example of hygiene and cleanliness..

This is the first science center in ranchi .Location is very good not so far from main city of ranchi.For the children there are very useful thing to understand science.They learn and practical about he study in text book. Many things are available for all visitors.Maintenance need from government and staff for develop more exciting for visitors.Now new planetarium are also open for people to know about the function of solar system.Price ticket is also good .

Its gud for a picnic place rather than an educational place. Its not only a science museum but a museum and learning center about Jharkhand as well. Need a lot of maintenance for lot of science projects installed here.

Its not maintained to be honest. Most of the equipment are not working and cleanliness is not their. Toilets are very dirty. It has a big area. The garden outside the building is good. A one time visit.

They would enjoy.But there is tara mandal newly build inside science centre thats a bit awesome as its new. Thats a virtual reality type experience of space.Its also a very good place for couples... In the back garden theres rarely people...and very quite place with plants so, you can easily have some private space there

Ranchi planetarium known as varah mihir taramandal is located inside Ranchi science center in chiraundi. there is only Solar System show in the planetarium. Costing only 50 rupees per person and 30 rupees for children, the show is 40 minutes long and includes a brief explanation of constellations, followed by a quick tour of the solar system and its outer reaches. The information/explanations were not very deep, but they were sufficient for what I imagine is the target audience: children.It was fun to see the kids around us really enjoying themselves. The facilities were in good shape, the show was good, and the AC was strong! All in all, not a bad way to spend some time, especially if you have kids.

Everything about Jharkhand including its social customs, mineral resources, developments and modern science tricks, replica of ancient wild life, beautiful gardens as at one place. Very helping guides, that too free of cost. We still recall the magical thrill of the visit. A must place to visit for every age groups.

This is The Science Center In Ranchi. Here you see the magic of science. You cant believe on your eyes that the things, the theories you have studied in your school, college and books, you can experience and explore here. Many science experiments are shown here you can analyse many theories and experiments. If you are really interested in science then please visit here at least once. One more thing is there, Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand so there is also a separate section (like museum) of the regional tribe people, artificial jungle and the animals statues who found in the jungle of Jharkhand, you can explore all of these things here.Thanks for Reading My Review.👍

Excellent and innovative but need some care and maintenance. It is an asset of Jharkhand so Government should think once.

I visited this place for the very first time but it was not worth visiting this place. ticket was of RS 20 but it was not worth RS 20. Almost each and every equipment is broken. There is no any gate in toilet so it smells too much in complete floor. The place is not well maintained and dirty. You can visit this place to watch planetarium, thats impressive and worth RS 50 as ticket.

Nice and has so many concepts that you will need more than 1 day to understand all the concepts. One who is opting science as a career should definitely visit this place. I guarantee no one will find this place boring if you really take interest.

Visited this on Sunday, nice place to visit with family dont forget to get your children here. Many Science equipment and magical things are present here. The culture, history and many valuable facts about Jharkhand is showed here by statutes picture videos painting and demo. The coal mines deep forests are simulated in particular room with proper effect, some funny and scientific equipment are placed on first floor anyone can experience with each equipment.You can come here from anywhere in ranchi, first you have to take shared auto from anywhere to kantatoli,and then again a auto to jail chowk cost around 15 bucks or sometimes you found direct auto to Science Center, and again auto from jail chowk to Science Center, it will cost around 15 to 20 bucks. Ola cabs are also available from anywhere in ranchi to this place you can take that too for your convenience. A children park is also there along with mang fun games. Parking here is not free the parking area is so big. The entry ticket is 20 bucks each if a whole bus of students came here to visit they get some discount as per their terms.

Visibly very attractive and a place that your will thoroughly enjoy. Tickets are cheap but you wont be getting any AC there.

It am really pleased with the ambience. The science museum is mainly focused on tribal art, mines, coal extraction, and steel making model. 🅿arking is 20 for 4 wheelers, and entry fee is 30 per person. Though not so crouded I enjoyed a lot. Science stident should benificiated from it.

Very nice place to learn and understand new things as well as science in our daily lives.

This is the first Planetarium that our city Ranchi have ever got.As for starters its still in progress to develop more there are two shows, one at 3 pm in English and another during somewhere after 1 pm in hindi. The length of each show is around 35 to 45 minutes covering only a brief information and general idea of our solar system and space some other stuffs. The price of tickets are normal and reasonable.Within the outskirts of Ranchi city and with Ranchi science center within the periphery makes us to spend quite good time and learn some stuffs also.

I liked Ranchi Science center which is full of many science equipments that one can try out by reading the instructions given besides them. It has a 3D Hall where they show documentaries. For all science students or those who love science in our Ranchi and Jharkhand should visit this place and should try out old techniques to find out exact time or learn Kepler law and many other experiments. I have also found items that have details about few Indian scientists and their contributions in world of science. Hence, I would also recommend to bring your young kids to this place and give exposure to science world.This is a good place to hangout with friends.You can get auto from Karmtoli to reach this place. You dont find any good food corner in nearby places. But you can get ice-cream and veg puffs from nearby food joints. You can also taste samosas in Lagan sweets which is nearest best hotel.

According to my opinion nobody should come here because none of the machine are working. But tne new taramandal is very good

After a long time Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi got its own Science City but need to work on this! And also need a better take care and maintenance of the the Center.
