The restaurant is very small. However, they offer outside seating and take-out. The food is tasty and fresh. However, I recently placed an order and when I got the bill, it was almost 50 % higher than what they advertise on line. I understand a price increase, but 50% in the the span of two ✌️ weeks! At least update your pricing or warn people, before an order is placed.

Its nice small clean Mediterranean food store. They attendee is very friendly and experienced about his customers demands and tastes. I had good experience with them. They dont have indoor dine-in for covid. But they have outdoor sitting and offers sanitizer to the customers. The foods are tasty. When you take several items he gives some discounts too. Also the presentation and welcome was very comforting. Recommended.

Food is nice. I got grilled fish today. Its perfectly grilled and not overdone. I like the side of rice and mashed potatoes. The only thing i dont like is the oily bean curry stuff as a side. I would definitely prefer a lettuce onion salad in place of that bean curry. Overall its good. Ill definitely go back, opting out that bean curry thing in my future orders.

First time here and the food was amazing. Not being from this culture, I naturally had some questions. The owner was so friendly and kind and had a smile on his face the whole time helping me. The food was so fresh and full of flavor. I cant wait to go back to try their other items. Chicken Shawarma was on point!

I have come here for a couple years now. The Shawarma is always delicious and fresh, as is everything we have tried. I would get take out to do outside visits with friends during the worst of COVID. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the people working there are always super nice.

Fresh food and good service. Small language barrier but I showed the picture I wanted and he pointed to the number and hooked me up. They were generous with the sauce, and welcoming.

Had food poisoning right after I tried the Chicken Shwarma from Shaahi Darbar. They have the worst food ever. The Shwarma that I got after paying about 7 dollars came with burned chicken which smelt bad and it had really bad taste to it. Took two bites and then had to show it to the staff, who still wouldn’t do anything about it, and then ended up throwing away. I wouldn’t even recommend shahi darbar to my worst enemy.

Burned food. Need more work on the food. Hot sauce taste like Tabasco. Please cut down on your cranberry.

Wow ! This is one hidden gem in a sea of boring restaurants. I got the chicken tikka/ Naan platter, this has to be one of the freshest well cooked chicken Tikka, it is moist, perfectly marinated and soft. The Naan was light and fluffy. Had a bit of a wait but totally worth it. Cannot wait to go back and try the other stuff.

I usually get food from here for the convenience of location and quality in taste. Kamrul who greeted me in a very caring way had an optimistic attitude through out my stay here. I definitely recommend this place 100/10 if you are looking to feed you and your loved ones with a wholesome meal. My favorite dish is the (mouth watering) Steak bowl! Come In today :)

Everything here is great but to me the sleeper item is the mashed potatoes. Who knew the best mashed potatoes I ever ate came from an Indian Restaurant.

Food here is amazing ! I love desi food so anytime I get a chance to pick some up I do. It’s a bit small but very bright and clean. They cook the food fresh right in front of you and have excellent customer service. The prices are really affordable and I promise you as soon as you walk in you’re going to want to try everything. Anyone can cook, but a good test is not that easy. Try the menu chili lime Chicken and Kalmi kabab. Test was awesome. Overall cooking, presentation and sauce that includes more test in food. Must try

I ordered Lamb Chops around 12:45 AM. The person in the front gave me cold food. Lamb Chops was not event hat hot, nor the potato or beans. My friend went back to get it warmed they decline. I know that the food was old and I couldnt even eat the rice or beans. I also asked for salad and the person in the side made a big issue over salad. Lol. The chicken Shwarma is good. They put red cabbage in it which tastes nice and it’s honestly a great drunk food when the night’s ended. The mango lassi was a bit sour, though, and the chicken roll that was pre-made in their window tasted old unfortunately... It’s a hole in the wall though and newly renovated, so I really don’t understand why this is the case. It is clean though!

Ordered Beef shwarma (beef was nothing but fat pieces in a hotdog bun) ordered lamb chops meager and beyond small for $13. Ordered Kulmi kabab pretty much nothing but greasy chicken legs with yellow rice. Overprice for Mediterranean food so call.... Glad tried it once never trying it again.

Shahi Darbar has the best, freshest naan I have ever tasted! (And I have eaten a lot of naan!) The staff was friendly and checked on how the food was after we ate, which there was zero complaints since all the food was amazing and bursting with flavor. I am only in town temporarily for work but I will definitely be visiting anytime I am back in Queens!

When you are in Jackson Heights you can find plenty of desi food but only thing that you cant find is Halal Steak. Today while walking on the streets of this area, I saw a new sign of Shahi Darbar. As a person who is always open to try new food and love to appreciate new business, I decided to go in. I must say that as soon I entered I felt very welcome and gentleman at the counter was extremely pleasant which is rare sight in this area. First thing that caught my eyes was fresh steaks lined up. I ordered two right away. My second surprise was when the chef asked me how would I like my steaks? I knew that these guys know what theyre doing. I also ordered lamb chops and while waiting I decided to try a chicken samosa that the best that I ever had in Jackson Height. Due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic I had to take my food home. The gentleman offered me a chicken patties for free as well which was extremely nice. After having the food at home I must say that entire food was extremely delicious and fresh. The best part was that it didnt have tons of salt and you can literally taste the food, not just spice and salt. Guys please give them a try if youre in the area. These are very courageous people who decided to open a new business in these toughest time. Wish you best of luck.

I had worst food after long time...don’t waste ur money there..food taste so bad and I had food poison after eat....they don’t wear mask and after we order the food it they took more then 45 mins to give us the food...customer service was really bad we had to carry the food outside where they have seat. When the bill came they took 15% service charge even though they didn’t even serve us the food ..Again don’t waste ur money

The chicken tikka kabob was so fresh! A welcome staple to the neighborhood, and they’re open late too. I like that all their kababs and grills are kept raw until they are cooked in a tandoori oven. Some notable desi bbq locations in the neighborhood precook their bbq, and simply microwave it when ordered. Not this place!!

The food isnt very good, service is bad, I ordered a mango lassi in that drink it was mostly water and a little bit of mango. I also ordered 2 chicken shawarma and 1 beef shawarma all of them taste bad.
