In the evening sitting in the beach is the best relaxing time. The sunrise and the sunset of the beach is the mostly beautiful thing which attracts tourist into its beauty. Thats why beach is a very loveable place for humans.

The beach though not scenic compare to other beaches in India, but definitely it is the most happening beach.Whether you walk on the sea shore or on the adjacent road you feel refreshed. If you love calmness, go in the morning and if you love crowd and shopping/eating, go in the evening.For bathing you can spent a whole day here.But don’t except any sporting activities here.Very long beach with crowded from parking end to lonely towards Light House end.

Be careful of the stones.The waves are bigger but the sand level under sea is uneven.Puri in Odisha is one of the four must-visit pilgrimage sites for Hindus because of Jagannath Temple that forms the part of Char Dham in India. Puri is a beach city located on the coast of Bay of Bengal which is one of the favourites among people of West Bengal for a short trip.Having gained popularity among hippies back in the 1970s due to the legalisation of Bhang, Puri is still a popular destination among backpackers, however, the availability of bhang is now limited. With a plethora of hotels and homestays, the local tourist like to stay near the New Marine Drive and the backpackers prefer to stay near Chakra Tirtha. The Rath Yatra (chariot festival) which takes place during the month of June-July should not be missed if you are planning to visit during this time.

Holy place

We visited Puri during the Diwali weekend and found it as one of our best trips. The beach was pristine...and colour of the sea was bluish green which we hardly get to see! It is very clean due to less travellers due to the pandemic. We loved the beauty of the sea and the sunset.
