Stay with all modern facilities, filtered drinking water, water heater in wash room etc. Keep mosquito repellant with you. Mission authority charges a nominal amount of INR 300 per head per night for stay. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner included.

Best place of worship, calm and quite. Boro Maharaj is a nice person. No word will suffice the atmosphere.

Whoever posts that this Ramakrishna Math, Chakratirtha, Puri is not clean or has unhealthy ambience is unnecessarily slandering the place. It is very clean, well maintained and has a superb ambience for the spiritually inclined. Further it is very near to the sea beach and Jagannath Temple. Has all the amenities. All said very nice centre of Ramakrishna Math & Mission.

This Math is very close to sea beach , old buildings and construction , and ambience prevails here although many hotels and restaurants, resorts have come up surrounding this temple , Sri Ramakrishna Math , Chakratirtha Road , Puri .

Silent place to stay and rejoice ourselves. It was founded by Balaram Basu, a direct disciple ospiriuf Sri Ramakrishna. Maa Saradhadevi, the spiritual concent of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, visited this ashrama thrice. Among the 16 direct monk disciples of Sri Ramakrishna, 12 visited this place.Loving atmosphere, reluctant and highlight is the ashram is on the shores of CHAKARA THIRTHA(holy beach).Gentle welcome and hospitality by the sadhus residing there. 🙏One can get the opportunity to stay in this place if he writes them earlier.

One of the earliest Ramakrishna Maths in the country. Sri Sri Maa visited the place in 5Nov 1888 -12Jan1889; 1904-05 and Apr1911 CE. During 1904, Bengal Nagpur Rail line prepared up to Puri. Sri Sri Maa went to Puri in a second class reserved compartment along with her uncle Nil Madhav, Pagli mami, golap Maa, Lakhi didi, Radhu, wife of mastermoshai, wife of Chunilal Babu, and Kusum Kumari. In a medium class compartment Swami Premananda and 3 other male members were made the journey with mother. They are in the train whole night and in the next day morning they reached Jagannath Dham. On the road to mandir there was Khetrabasi Math that is the yatriniwas of Balaram Bose where Sri Sri Maa and her accompanies stay there, Premanand ji stayed in Sashi Niketan, another house of Balarambabu near the sea. After reaching Puri Sri Sri Maa visited Lord Jagannath. Everyday morning she went for Darshan the Lord Jagannath Mahaprabhu and every evening she attended Sandhya Arati in the Mandir.

There was a commotion between Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math in Puri. This is the monastery. Address Chakra Tirtha. And Mission Chandan Hazuri Road. The sea is next to the monastery. And five minutes walk from the mission.
