Shivsrushti is under construction these days. This place is not yet started for public visits. This is very big and ambitious project about Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

This place is currently closed as its a private property. Have gone there twice and both times I have been stopped at the gate. The guards give no reason whatsoever. Please dont visit.

If you are interested in Indian culture and Indian historical Heritage this is a must visit place for you in Pune because it will enable you to understand the history of structures of Indian historical culture and also it will guide you through the history of India which is gathered by authentic historians.this place is built like an old Heritage monument and is used in various movies and TV serials as a historic backdrop you can also do horse riding here in Vijay horse riding institute which is owned by Mr Gunesh Purandare.

This place is very nice, but it is closed temporarily since there is some construction work going on.

Working on the Sarkar wada since its initiation has been an nurturing experience personally for me. It is so nostalgic to recollect th9se discussion sittings with Babasaheb himself and with other co-team members later. During the designing we revisited many historical places known and unknown.The design idea was not merely desigNing a wada.Rather create a contemporary Wada experience to the visitor. The same theme is being applied when our whole team is working on the other historical attractions in Shivasrushti . After its completion, stage by stage, Shivsrushti is surely going to be a cultural tourist destination with an diference nationally and internationally.: Ar.Rahul Chemburkar

Sunder vastu

Sarkarwada is a replica of ancient Peshwa buildings. You will find beautiful stone carvings, squares, grand entrances, awnings, ponds, and beautiful carvings on wood. One of the buildings has been completed and the rest are under construction.Sarkarwada is a replica of the ancient Peshwale architecture. We can see in the Shivasruti the beautiful stone wall, chowk, magnificent entrance, ocean, pudding, wood and stone walls. An architect of this project has been completed and construction of remaining buildings is underway.

Sarkar Wada, lectures are held on the last Saturday of each month. Definitely visit.
