Lovely place to dine-in. Views are beautiful. People usually go here for a nice bottle of wine and its views. Staff is polite and helpful. Food is great.

Heya. My family and I recently visited Andaman and Nicobar islands. For the 1st two days we stayed at Sinclair’s and it was a really good experience. Pankaj (the manager) and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room is good, food isn’t that great (vegetarian food). But overall experience was good.

Costlier - over hypeOk ok to stay

Rooms are very clean and maintenance is excellent. But it took a lot of time for them to check us in and they made us wait in the lobby till then. Other than that everything else about this resort is good.

Bad experience with sinclairs Bayview, issue was initiated very first day of check in.Room was checked-in at 1.30 PM and it was not even cleaned and set. Previous checked out room was provided to us as such. Horrible and pathetic start at Port Blair hotel.Was expecting a cozy room with sea view but the start of vacation went very disappointing.Upon complaining at reception was given another room.Also some part of the hotel is under construction and also common areas like lift, stair case, veranda area are tidy and not kept clean.Kindly ensure to book better option where good customer service is provided.Stay details - March 2-4 202, Room number 402 (first floor) and then got other room at 3rd floor.

Awesome place to stay with bay view rooms and terrace. The hotel itself is like a tourism spot and one can have the dreamy scenic view experience. Best place to read poetry, good food and nice staff.

Location, Service and Amenities, all together it was a very memorable stay for us. Special mention of all staff members with their ever smiling face and superb hospitality at all times. Mr. Pankaj was a special gift to the hotel with his out of the way service

Some of the best memories I have of Andamans includes Sinclairs - few trips where we just went to enjoy our meals in their gorgeously located restaurant (mind it, its a bit on expensive side but the quality is good) spending the evenings lounging on the sofas while ordering cocktails with brilliant sea-views to enjoy and courteous staff, made me always look forward to my visits. While few other times, I stayed with them and totally enjoyed myself. (Tip if your booking their room - always prefer the rooms on the higher floors with balcony to enjoy the views right from the comfort of your bed) The swimming pool is such a plus while staying here (though on some of my visits, it was closed, so call n check with them while booking) All in all, I can safely say its a wonderful hotel (on the higher price side) which will not disappoint you with their service and offerings

Beautiful hotel with gentle & well mannered stafff....limited food menu but taste is good...good rooms

Very old property so dnt expect a lot of modern amenities. Go for a sea facing room- you get an amazing view :) Front end staffs are courteous however resturant services are extremely slow, lethargic..you have to wait for at least an hour to get service however you will not be disappointed with the chef :) on the contrary, breakfast is awful :( Last but not the least property if managed well can spring wonders ! Would still recommend for a stay if you are ok with tradeoffs

Its the worst in Andaman . 🙂 There is no proper lighting.... they couldnt arrange for hot lemon water bowls. We had to ask for serving water even . If it was mainland it would have been closed long back as such behaviour wouldnt be tolerated there. Very careless service. Save money. Save time. Dont go to sin clairs .

The ocean view is amazing. We enjoyed every minute of it. It is a nice hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, courteous staff.It was great to sit in the evening on the deck and feel the cool sea breeze. Constructed right on the sea, all the rooms welcome the rising sun every morning. Every picture taken of the property and from the property can make one of the best posters of the nature at its best. I would highly recommend it.

1.the interior were broken and made of plastic wall panels..2.pillows and bedsheets were not clean..had hair and were dusty..3.The shower knob was faulty... automatically switched to hand shower..the toilet jet spray had low water force which caused inconvenience.4.bathroom window was not closing properly..5.cleanliness was not that great as compared to the other hotels we stayed in Andaman...6.they charge you extra for providing food at the room..overall I dint much enjoy the stay ....

Location of the hotel is amazing. Hotel staff are great and very helpful. They go out of their way to be helpful. Menu and food is good.The hotel itself needs some serious work done. The restaurant is crying for an upgrade and the decor is outdated. Once upon a time it might have been great place to stay- today it looks tired ! Management needs to seriously change the pictures in the website which is deceptive.

Port Blair is seriously beautiful & same goes for this resort. The resort offers the best cuisines. You can also book the open place adjacent to the dining hall for partying. The rooms are full after the monsoons. You need to book the rooms in advance to explore the hospitality & the islands of port Blair.

A nicely located property near the seashore. Upper floor sea facing rooms will give you the best scenic views. It gets five stars for its location. Staff is Okeyish- some are good, others not so good. Food is average. It doesnt make you crave for it. Restaurant runs 7am-11am. So if you are to leave early in the morning you need to inform timely otherwise a packed breakfast will be denied point-blank.The biggest downside about the place is its Wi-Fi. It works only in the reception area and that too very very very sluggishly. Internet does not work in Andaman in general. Even calling is diificult at times. Most people here use bsnl or Airtel sim. Even Vodafone works but on 2g network. Better use sms rather than internet based WhatsApp or Facebook.

Amenities in the hotel are satisfactory.Poolside Bayview room was awesome, and shore access is available.. food was fabulous.Only drawback was finishing inside the room.. plastic truss used on walls instead of paint.. and overall finish was moderate.

Offers excellent sea view rooms. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks on the beach and the gust heightens the experience. Since one side of the property shares the boundary with the ocean, you can take the stairs down to the beach front sitting areas. The buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent with many options.

It is an amazing experience. The stay was as beautiful and calming as the place. The hospitality, service and the ambience is amazing. The staff is amazing. To name one of the staff Kumar Raja made sure that everything was perfect from the time we checked in till the time we checked out. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Sinclairs Made Our Holiday Memorable...!!Be it the Mesmerizing view from your window, be it the smiling faces around you all the times, be it the prompt service .... Everything made us feel so special. We stayed in the hotel for three days with my infant baby but never felt any hestle. Staffs are very kind. A sea blue swimming pool..a green lawn to walk around the property, and a lovely walking track is add on.Room is clean, food is very good, prompt service and reception is very helpful.. what more we could have asked !Special thanks to: Chef( missed the name), Jafar and Pritam for ever smiling service, madam Aparna and her team Kumar and Imran for guiding us throug out all the day of our stay in Port Blair. Everyone in the hotel is very kind.Must stay at Sinclair if you visiting Port Blair . Top recommended.

Ambiance is good but food quality is not OK

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Beautiful sea view. The cool breeze coming from the sea is very enjoyable. They have a good deck sitout. The sunrise is visible from your bed.

I planned my stay in Sinclairs.The moment we step into the room, it was great. The views were so breathtaking, it offered great sea views and the price was all worth it..!The room was sparkly clean and tidy. Since it is my hometownI stayed in there just for a day but this hotel made that one night equally exciting. I ended up contemplating a stay-cation at a later date, just for the views.The staff is very professional and friendly, food is great. So this place is a complete yes for your next stay in my hometown Port-blair.Also, now about the food it was too tasty, thanks to the chef, he was great. One of the best 4 star resort in Port Blair and is nearby beach. Has got a swimming pool too with a proper view of sea. Maximum of the rooms are beach view. Food is pretty nice too especially buffet is affordable. The resort is located around 7 to 8 kms from airport. The rooms are costly but value for money.

I didnt like this hotel nor its structure and entrance.Rooms are good in size and important thing is, I think all the rooms are sea view.They served complimentary three small namkin packets n two biscuit packs.Two water bottles per day is also complimentary.We took breakfast n dinner here. Dinner was not very good the choice in vegetables was only two one dal n other kofta. Though other Nik nak items were there. Desserts were good.The policy of the hotel is that If the hotel has less then ten guest they serve ala carte. We were only three guests in entire hotel.they had only puri bhaji.We were upset, after some waiting they served some items. Those were good.Staff and service was good ...

Sinclairs bay view hotel has comfortable amenities and a very scenic location. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose island (previously called Ross island) is visible at a short distance. Around one kilometre of the Andaman sea separates the two. Hotel has restaurant and terrace bar with top class views. Lawn restaurant is also present!

House keeping could have been better

Great hotel with great facilities. We had booked their premium sea-facing room and had an amazing stay. Their rooms outsize any other hotels room for sure and had an appealing sea view. The food was tasty and their breakfast buffet had higher options than any other hotel(s) I stayed in while my visit to Andaman. Adding more to list, they had a Japanese bunker made during the 2nd World War inside the hotel, a bar to sit back & relax and an open balcony too where you can enjoy breathtaking view of the sea and have food/drinks.

Anytime you want to stay at Port Blair... I strongly recommend. Everything great about this place.

Worst hospitality food is not good rooms are not maintained

This is Andamans best HOTEL... A big garden almost 1000 pax party capacity,, one glass house almost 200 pax,,, one 🏊 swimming pool here also you can arrange 100 + pax party... Good service..good sea view.. Good food... This is Andamans longest building... Always you are welcome....

This is the best resort in Port Blair and the oldest one as well, the view of the ocean is simply mesmerising. Morning breakfast has some really good options as well. It’s near to the cellular jail and the beach as well.

A very mixed experience here. Not worth the premium price for sure. Food and view from ocean rooms is good but thats about it. Staff is super incompetent when it comes to helping with any bookings or information. No one will answer the phone here. They dont know anything and dont even have contacts of any tour operator. Our door lock broke and they didnt be replace it either in 3 days we stayed there. Cab from hotel is super expensive. Overall better to stay in a smaller hotel and save some money.

This place is awesome for staying. The sea view is so beautiful and you can enjoy the place by within the sea facing rooms. The foods are delicious and there is a facility for arranging the party or for wedding receptions. There will be separate room to arrange party or you can use open areas.

It is nice hotel with nice view indeed. Had a pleasant stay with them.You might want to check before finalizing as some rooms are not not decorated with 5 star amenities or ambience at all while some of them are.The variety in breakfast was adequate but was same on next day as well. The hotel should not repeat the breakfast menu which become boring and unappealing. The charm of variety fades out seeing same options but this happens with major luxury hotels too. Not complaining, just saying. The food options are okay for north Indian taste with steep price chart.The view was nice with plenty of view points the hotel is on the sea side with water touching the foot of hotel. You can sit in terrace and enjoy your drinks or food with nice sea wind on yourself.Overall: loved the view and stay though the room ambience could have been better.

Very Nice Hotel View

The first feeling that you get on entering the hotel is that the hotel is living in past. The rooms are old, doors dont close properly, food is bad, almost everything we ate was bad. The breakfast was unimpressive and tasteless. The dinner was just too spicey.We had booked the hotel through Expedia, the whole reason of booking the hotel was that it showed that the checkout time is noon and our flight was at 2:40. When we reached there, we were told that the checkout time was 9 AM. When I pointed out that expedia showed the checkout time as noon and that was the reason I booked it, they said that it is expedias fault and they cant do anything about.The reception staff promised that they will let us stay little longer, but promptly at 9:10 AM, the staff called us at the room and told us to checkout.One can tolerate all this stuff but when you are paying five star prices, you expect more. This is probably the most expensive hotel in Port Blair with a service that doesnt deserve that pricing.

A superb hotel at an excellent location with all the rooms having sea view. It is situated near to the airport i.e. just 5kms away (travel time 20 min by car). Hotel staff is good and cooperative. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room facility is excellent. Food is also good but a bit costly compared to other hotels around. Bar lounge available, and can order the drink outside the lounge as well, which has a superb sea view. * Breakfast buffet is also good had around 25-30 items. Credit payment facility available here. Overall a bit on the expensive side but worth a stay. Highly recommended if budget is not a constraint. However, we got this hotel at a discounted rate from Goibibo, so keep checking the Goibibo offers.

The location of the Hotel is excellent and I had a beautiful view of the sea from my room. Amenities like the pool table, swimming pool are also good though I didnt use any of them. They have built a staircase that leads directly to the sea. The staff was also very helpful and the service was excellent.The only thing that I feel can be improved is the availability of wi-fi in the rooms. Wi-fi is available only in the lobby and one has to go down there to access internet. But the lobby also has a good view of the sea and that can compensate for your effort to come down to the lobby.I would definitely recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay.

It feels so heavenly... It has gud spots to capture gud pics too... Seeking Accommodation at Sinclairs in Port Blair is truly a good choice... Please visit the Andamans in the right season... Monsoons can upset Ur entire plan.

We stayed for 2 days 17,18/03/18 Fir these days we 2 persons paid rs. 21000/(10500/day)but the facilities provided match nowhere with this amount, only the satisfaction is location of Hotel is just like cantilever on the sea and rooms are clean but inside the room no seating arrangement like sofa or chairs particularly in-room no 508, even after we demand for chairs not provided there was a sofa cut bed but it was from nowhere comfortable,wifi not available in whole the hotel only surrounded the reception area it was but no use for guestsAnother bad thing is packed( parcel) breakfast there were a few bakery items and human finger sized bananaOther thing one has to be hunger if he dont open and see the parcel

No words to say you guys go there and enjoy and share your feelings. sea view and cleaniness of the entire hotel and nice hosting. from top to bottom level staff are very nice. Everything is so wonderful and very very nice especially restaurant guys are giving homely care and each and everthing they and come ask to fullfill our need. Love uuuuuuuuuuuu guys.

Great location... Close to cellular jail, airport and corbyns cove. Rooms arent great... They are old but the service is excellent. The food was excellent as well. And the view of the bay from the rooms and the sitting areas are lovely. Especially in the early morning.

The stay at Sinclairs was an absolute delight. We had the premier rooms and they had an awesome view of the sea. The rooms were spacious and nice. All requirements like a locker toiletries etc were provided.The restaurant and pub have a nice elegant feel. The breakfast buffet and food in general was awesome. The food was so good that we returned back to the hotel just for a meal.The staff is really helpful and know how to take care of their guests.The hotels downside was that they did not have an effective transport option. Any ride was charged as Rs 500 flat which is a little steep considering the other available options in Port Blair.Also the swimming pool could have been made a little bigger.

Stayed here for 2 days (22-23rd Nov). The property is well maintained and has a good view of the sea. The rooms are spacious but are very simple in terms of decor or amenities. The staff is courteous, especially the restaurant staff and they do make sure that you are served well. The resort is value for money, with a good location and friendly staff. Enjoyed our 2 days at Sinclair and the stay was wonderful.

Amazing view of the sea. One of the good options if u have to stay in port Blair. Food is a bit over priced. But its the same all over the island. Drinks are overpriced just double and more. Avoidable. But huge plus for large rooms and view

One of the best properties in the isles. Their plus point is their location. Its right next to the sea but not exactly beach side. The nearest beach is Corbyns Cove (around 1 km). Rooms are spacious and expensive. Restaurant and Bar facility is available.

Decent place with a killer view

We visited this hotel on feb 26th 2018 for our Honeymoon Trip. Booked Valentine Room. We reached there pretty early(8AM) in the morning but the Check-in timing was around 10AM. The room that we have booked was not at all vacant but the management showed their kindness by offering us another room till the check-in time that we can make our-self comfortable. Really nice of them(We have not taken that room since it would be more hectic changing the room after sometime, we were pretty tired we thought of waiting for some more time). Foods are really costly but to be honest its really delicious. Just one thing that I would like to mention, i,e the rooms should be maintained properly, somehow my thought is expensive rooms should be according to their mark so deducting one star for that reason. Anyway overall, if you have good management staffs in the hotel you will always feel comfortable.

Its a good hotel with the promised bay views. The rooms are clean and spacious. The most interesting part is the lagoon type water body just at the edge of the ocean and can be accessed from the hotel via cobble stone steps. One can spend hours there just watching the waves crash against the stone walls.

Heritage hotel, excellent location The hotlel is located just beside the ocean.The view of Bay of Bengal from the rooms is just spell bounding. During high tide wave touches the foot of the hotel and the hotel is proud to possess a Japanese bunker and a cannon.
