It’s and oldest baker shop n Goa since 1922 And it’s run by 2 lady and one man , they having very limited variety cake , coconut cookies , prawn , chicken , beef cutlets they serve but personally I don’t like the taste and services they should heat n then serve.

I love their version of prawn rissois and bibinca. The rissois are a Portuguese or perhaps Portuguese inspired preparation that’s like this crescent shaped prawn pocket. Extremely tasty. One can easily polish off 4 to 5 of these easily. And the bibinca is not to greasy and overly sweet. Just perfect. They also make this sponge cake which is layered with chocolate cream, again something that not too sweet. They have so many other products, yet to try them all. I’ve tried croquettes, and also potato chops which are these mince meat filled potato cutlets. These are good but not rissois level good. And I got samosas here on two different occasions, but dry both times. The restaurant is nice and had a very simple setup. The outside is very unassuming. The staff is nice and is wearing a mask at all times. Hand sanitizer is at the door. They don’t do temp check which is not mandatory I think I Goa. Plus people pick up stuff here and are in and out quite quickly.Oh and did I mention I am a fan of their Rissois ☺️

Great service.I walked in, asked for an assortment of Goan sweets to take back home to Bangalore and the really nice woman there helped me pick out the classics. She walked me through what each sweet was, and how to keep them fresh enough to endure my travel home.

It was the worst experience in a cafe. I went to mr bakers expecting warmth and welcoming attitude like every other place in goa. But the woman at the cafe was extremely rude, and taunting woman. When asked for bill she made a face, and unwillingly wrote the cost of our purchases on a scrap of paper in barely illegible handwriting then went on to say you can make the total as you might have gone to college and they must have taught you that. WHO SAYS THAT TO A CUSTOMER!!?? ( i am 28 yrs old btw not some young kid in college)Next she simply left us to our devices to deal with another customer who had just arrived. Making us wait for 10 mins. This when We had already told her we have a bus to catch to return home.Just because you have a shop that had been there for nearly a century doesnt mean people will keep coming if you dont change your attitude. Also the bibinca there was just passable. I have had better tasting bibinca before. The pattice barely had any stuffing. The cherry on the top is they dont have online payment service and when asked why said we are different. Sure. Refusing to upgrade oneself because you are too lazy and dont want to expand horizons in business falls under the category of different

Bebinca tastes like pancakes and syrup. It wasn’t as great as mentioned in other reviews here! That might just be me. I bought Doce and Guava cheese perada: these sweets are an acquired taste, may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Sweets were very dry and I didn’t like them at all. As for the bakery, I feel it’s kinda overrated by reviewers just because it has a history to it! It’s almost 100 years old.
