The place is good but it is not a food court anymore. It is my first time in here, I saw that there should be at least 20 vendors in here but so far there is only 5 working. Only 5. One is coffee station. The others are taco guy, bowl guy, salad bar. Thats it. Also we bought sesame noodle as a side and tacos. All of them is tasteless:( unfortunately. So please try something else.
Really really really liked this place. Hit it up early on a Thursday. It was already hopping. I usually go americano but their single estate brew beckoned. Good but did not blow me away. Dough was limited in choices. One local walked up and looked at the selection and said what happened? and walked away. The tunes were an interesting mix of funk and R&B. Definitely not lame. Id kill to have this place near my home. Drop in and check it out. You wont be disappointed.
Dont bother going to their Dough Doughnut branch. Best to go to the one in 5th Avenue. Been there 5 times at the end of 2019 and they didnt have the Hibiscus flavor. A little disappointing.
Nice food hall, so many good options. Everything we tried was good and we were thoroughly impressed. Not all the foods are ‘traditional’ and it is ‘trendy,’ however the flavours are there to make a trip to it. Waits weren’t long during dinner rush either. Go with a group, or order small and fill up on a bit of everything Urbanspace has to offer.
Cool place with lots of food options with quite a few fusion styles (Indo-Burmese, Japanese-Mexican). I had the duck bing from Mr Bing. It was a bit salty and overpriced but the dumplings were nice. Very fast service. Not many places to sit, more bar tables for people drop in for a quick bite to eat.
Great options and great vibe. Several unique options that are off the beaten path of your typical food options. This food hall has a great feel to it and a buzz from the moment that you walk in. It is clean, organized and spacious. A nice spot for tourists and New Yorkers alike that provides options for everyone’s palate and allows you to sit together and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.A spot well worth the visit to understand the brilliance of a unique food hall.
Wow! Californian coming to NY for the first time, and I have to say this place was awesome. Love the large variety of food you can get here, and all seem to come pretty quickly so lunchtime eats are good to go! Also like that some of the places serve alcohol for those evening visits. Highly recommend stopping in!
I love this place, Ive been really sad it was closed. Happy to see some of the stalls opening up again. I ran in for a smoothie I probably didnt need just because the Playa bowl was open.
I love this place multiple different types of vendors only problem is a food is a little A little pricey $6 for donut for example
Urbanspace Vanderbilt is my new favorite place to have a meal or a drink after getting off the Metro-North train and before heading out for the evening. An interesting selection of foods and plenty of seating... I particularly loved having a real Japanese ramen available for dinner. Im eager to try some other options.I used to eat in the food court downstairs at Grand Central but over time I found the food selections less than wonderful and the atmosphere in the lower food court is getting grimmer at commute time in the afternoon/evening.The urban space is full of mostly younger people and be forewarned: there is loud music playing and the place is not quiet! Still I thought it was great fun!
An excellent food court a couple blocks from Grand Central. There are tons of options here - Korean BBQ, Thai, sandwiches, sushi burritos, salads, pizza, coffee, juice bar, the list goes on. The lines can get long during lunch hours but they move quickly. Most everything is pretty reasonably priced for the area. Theres something for everyone here.
Great spot for lunch and very busy and popular. Was hard to find a seat but didnt have to wait long to order food which was great. The cheeses Christ pizza from Robertos was really good but if youre ordering for kids have them hold the black pepper.I had the salmon sushi wrap which I was really hyped for but really wanst that great. One of the pieces of salmon was chewy and the sandwich was missing something. My kid had a cheeseburger which was awesome and had that great charred flavor. We also tried the bulgogi cheese steak egg roll which was also just ok.I still give this place 5 stars for the variety and possiblity of repeat visits. I definitely want to try the chicken sandwich next
Amazing variety of food and very chill and cheerful vibe. I had some korean pancake rolls and japamese takoyaki. Both were amazing. You get the food pretty fast. There are many seats too. The prices arent too crazy depending on which stall you go to ofcourse. Would recommend going here for a quick bite or even for a proper meal.
Love this place. Was my first time here, and I am absolutely coming back to try more food! I went for the ramen this time, and it is simply THE best ramen ever. The walkway bit is a bit cramped when crowded, and its incredibly crowded during lunch hour. We got there at 11am and by 12:30 we had to excuse me, pardon me our way through and out the building. Also, the poutine at the deli place isnt bad (but not quite up to Canadian standards). And the fact the bar has soju is something Ill remember for next time :)
Dope food court. Tons of awesome selections and great ambience during lunch time. No complaints.
The go-to choice for breakfast! Whether pancakes, doughnuts, breakfast burger, smoothies and smoothie bowls, oatmeal... The variety of shops is great. Tobys Estate has the very best coffee in town! The coconut and hibiscous are delicious!Btw: they also have a big savoury selection for lunch and diner...
Although there are a large variety of vendors here, there is very little seating. My wife, son, and I had to squeeze into the end of a table that had been monopolized by a group acting like they reserved a private room at a fancy restaurant. I imagine this location is great for workers in the area who can grab food to go. Robertas, Korilla, Red Hook Lobster, and Dough Donuts were some standouts.
Great little food court. The set up is super chic, variety of really good vendors with everything from Pizza to Mexican, seafood to ramen and a wine bar!Just like other places in New York, it is a bit pricey here, but is to be expected. This is also a pretty popular spot, so you cant be shy or picky in where you want to sit, and you could be standing. Also, be sure to check hours before you plan on being there. Tried for lunch one day and they were closed. No biggie!
Great beers, and great group of people.
Really good selection of great coffeebars, bars and restaurants.
One of the better “food courts” I have tried in the city. I went with the seafood with shrimp and lobster. Good flavor on the shrimp and not over cooked. God amount of lobster for the price.
There is something for everyone in this place. Very live and vibrant atmosphere especially on week nights. Three is a diversity of food and good toes to try from and they rotate so you never get bored. Boies and sandwiches are notable highlights as thru lend themselves well to locations like these.
So many good food choices this place great when you are with friends and cant decide what you want.
I love this place. So many great food stalls and food choices. Great coffee. Mr. Bing has a great breakfast crepe.
I like that its a nice spot for food variety.. felt like real New York.
Absolutely fantastic. Incredible variety and the portion sizes are huge. We loved it so much we spent most of our vacation eating here because the food was so good. I had something different every night and my fiancee fell in love with the Mexican place La Palapa.
This place is fantastic for a quick bite, multiple food options from some phenomenal restaurants at reasonable prices. Quirky atmosphere with lots of tables for seating. I had the ramen from Kuri-Obi, the noodles were legit and the broth was spot on. Definitely going back as soon as Im in town again
Cool place with great variety of food & drinks
Great location and great variety of food, Limited seating but otherwise great!
I didn’t know about this place till we ventured there. Better than any food court you’ve been to - in terms of range, quality, types of cuisines. Right next to Grand Central Station and the United Nations. Check it out. I’ll be back.
Great mix of places. The pizza spot does $10 pitchers of.Naragansett beer. Sake Sangria at Taco spot was just ok
Really tasty food, one of the higher quality and better priced markets in New York. Much less touristy than others
Great selection of vendors with delicious food. On this visit I went to Mr. Bing and got a kimchi bing. So good!
Great Food options that will satisfy anyone. Beer options could be better. Seating is very limited though so try to go during off peak times if you intend to sit and relax.
This is a great space to meet for a drink and a quick bite after work or before a show. Lots of good options in an upscale foodcourt
Great place! Lots of food choices!
Such a great selection with a fun environment. Must try a limeade slushy from La Palapa!
Donuts are giant and so amazing. Very doughie and super flavourful. Also the coffee was really good. Not sure what the name of the place was though.
LOBSTER w BACON sandwich, enough said.
A hidden gem I wish I knew about before. Offers a great deal of variety and delicious food. NYC standard prices (meaning a little on the higher end) but typical. Can get very crowded but the food was delicious!
Very quick and great food, must go for lunch if you work in the area or even on otherwise
Really cool place with lots of great vendors inside. Definitely a recommendation if you are in the area.
Delicious Mexican style Urbanspace on the cob. Only $2 a pop. Simple: dried cheese, powdered chili, and generous amounts of mayo and butter. Similar to what you would expect on the street, but better. Sweet and tender Urbanspace.
Great place to stop for lunch
Food court with various delicious meals especially chicken & tacos
For Midtown, this place is very reasonably priced. There is a variety of great types of food including Japanese, Italian, Indian, seafood and more. Plenty of vegetarian options. The atmosphere was very fun. We went on a Thursday night at 5:00 and Robertos had $10 pitchers of Naragansett ale. This was a worthwhile stop on my short visit from Massachusetts.
Great lunch spot with multiple food and drink choices.
YES! So many choices and every counter service employee is pretty nice & attentive. Ive gotten the sushi burrito from Hai (very good) and the thai curry from Bangkok Bar (good for it being quick service). Its pretty packed around lunchtime on the weekdays but you definitely can get in & out on your lunch break with a few colleagues and all get something you want. This is where you go when youre not sure what you want!
I love the food hall feel where you can choose from a variety of choices.Want sushi? Check.Lobster rolls? Yep.Beer? Absolutely.Cant wait to go back.
Asian street food stalls ...indoors. Viet, Thai,Japanese, Chinese, Burmese...plus New England Oyster & Lobster stand. Excellent craft beers. Energetic young crowd sharing tables and stools. Perfect for take-away. I usually pop in when passing by.
Wonderful food hall just like the other urban spaces. A little less seating than some of the others but the selection is great and all of it is on one level. If you need a disabled entrance, or for a stroller, go to the side area in the pedestrian walkway and go in that way -- there are signs you can follow.
This place is so dope! It was my first time there and I was overwhelmed by there food options but in a good way🙌🏿🙂. I was amazed by their vegetarian options! I ate from Two Tablespoons and Hai Street Kitchen Co. That vegetarian sushi burrito was everything!!!! I highly recommend getting that! And its super cost effective! I will definitely be back for that mac and cheese spot and that donut spot! They smelled delicious!!!
Neat place! I love the idea of getting a beer from one place, fries from second and tacos from a third! Tons of “young folks” around so it is difficult to find a seat. Fortunately everything can be taken to go, except the beer of course. Great place to socialize.
Really great marketplace with many different food options. Kids got pizza from Robertas that was awesome and I got a chicken curry bowl from Mian which was one of best bowls Ive ever had!! You wont notice at first but there is additional seating upstairs.
Cool space. Good selection of food. I had noodles and my other half had a huge burger. It was just slightly restricted on somewhere to sit and eat it but we squeezed in on the benches and the people in/using the venue were approachable
I was visiting NYC for work and one night we went to Urbanspace Vanderbilt. It reminded me of the outside food truck parks we have in San Francisco but with the additional benefits of being inside, having more seating areas and clean bathrooms. The food and beverage selections were also quite varied, including good options for vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting and overall the venue is a great venue for group outings.
Had the pizza and donuts inside. Pretty spacious seating area for Manhattan
Great atmosphere! You can find breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee shop, tea shop, juice bar, and alcohol bars-a little flavor from different corners of the world! 😉 Did I mention the eclectic feel? Its like being in a giant, outdoor basement 🎉 party 😍🤗😜
Cute and fun - so many places to choose from!
Loved it here. So many options and unique choices. Settled on the lobster mac and cheese at Red Hook Lobster Pound. Loved it!
I’ve never expected this place to have so many good options, as this was the first time I’ve stepped foot into this place. They offer so many things, like pizza, tacos, coffee and noodles. I want to try every single one of the tenants. So far, Partner’s Coffee was the best out the places, but I want to try the Donuts in the place! I will be making more returns to this place because this is FOOD HEAVEN!!
Good food. The iron burger with the fries are good. The sushi roll/burrito is messy but tasty. All is great. But very limited seating. Either be prepared to eat standing or take it to go eat elsewhere.
Perfect place to go with teenagers, Large food court but nicer and cooler with better options than your regular food court. $10 pitchers of beer at the pizza stand and so many fantastic options We had the pizza and we were not disappointed. We wanted to Go back and try something else but itCloses at 5 on Saturday and Sunday and we did not get back in time . It’s a 60 second walk from The Roosevelt Hotel .
Excellent place for food when traveling with a group. The many different options and common seating made it so that everyone in our group was able to get something they would love and we were able to dine together. The food was all delicious will go back!
Places I love: Two Tablespoons, Ovenly, Mian Kitchen, Good Stock. Five stars can be found on all of their individual pages. Truly wonderful. If youre coming between 11 and 2, I would advise you not to plan to find a seat, and certainly not multiple seats. Its also so crowded as to be difficult to navigate/browse. You will be hard pressed to get lunch for under $12. The selection is great though!Just grab your food and go. Take it to Bryant Park. Take it to the steps of the library. Take it to your desk in winter. Go at 3 in the afternoon.
Fun and spicy place to eat. There is a lot of variety but there are very few bathrooms. I recommend the ramen place in the back left corner. Also the coffee place in the front right which is next to the bathroom there.
Love the food options s in this space. But stay away fro. Red hook lobster! $23 for a soggy small lobster roll, the blandest Cole slaw in a sample size cup, and the ti est ponies pickle. Horrible.
