This place is well-known for Lebanese food chicken shawarma. Whoever visits this restaurant normally starts with at least a plate of shawarma. Other foods are ok, but nothing special. In rotis, khamiri roti is good one to try. Service is good and staffs are friendly. We have been visiting this place for the last ten years, and the quality remains the same. Although price has increased drastically. Considering the siting arrangement and no air-conditioning, food items are little on higher side.
A restaurant located in Community Centre near New Friends Colony, New Delhi. This place serves many kinds of cuisines, dishes, street foods etc. This place is best for eating and having delicious dishes near NFC.Shawarma dish of Al-Bake is so yummy and one of the most popular dish of Al-Bake to have. This is a must visit place for a foodie, who wants to explore delicious dishes around the town. If you travel near by Community Centre, then you should go there to have some delicious food to make your travel experience better.
Its a good place to go for all the non vegetarian food lovers. It is prepared, roasted, served in front of your eyes. There is no seating area. So basically its like non vegetarians street food. It is a chain of non vegetarian food items and has many outlets all around Delhi. Everything is delicious here.
This place is famous for Shawerma. However, they loads of thing on menu. Must visit place.
This place definitely losing its charm and love people use to have for it in their heart😪the shawarma was so small and expensive but good enough. Other than that we ordered seekh kabab and biryani, couldnt eat the kabab it was just bad and smelly. The biryani wasnt anything special, a bit dry even. And the worse thing is the bill overall was high but the maintenance is so bad its almost like a dhaaba at this point. had to ask for menu like four time. Me and friends (all girls) were there for one of your friends bday lunch and the staff members kept watching and making comments, making assumptions as to why we must be here🙄🤦🏽♀️ there was some other customers right behind us (uncles in Their 50s) who KEPT staring at my friends constantly and making comments, it made them so uncomfortable we just quickly had our meal and left. Definitely not coming back tho :)
If you are a foody you have to come here and have the famous shawarma . Its tasty, pocket friendly, filling and satisfying to your taste buds. The flavour of chicken and garam masala is awesome topped with mayo that is so delicious. I usually do not have or like mayo ,but I ate all. Do not miss the Nihari and kheer. The place is located in the market. And has good sitting arrangement. You can get the stuff packed also. The service is quick . Must try . You can visit with friends and family.
You cant go wrong with the Shawarma here. Fill your stomach with Shawarma itself, its that good.
Best chicken shawarma. Take extra white sauce, youll definately crave more.
Ordered chicken shawarma. Taste was above average. Service was fast. Not my server was rude. Will not be coming back to try anything else.Management should look into it.
Nice food but a bit over priced but looking at the location it is located I guess not anyone will have problem.
Visited this place after 7 years. Still the same 🙂Loved it. Truly nostalgia at its peak ❤️❤️
This place is loosing its charm now there was a time when everyone was crazy for Albake sharwarma but now I dont see that craze. The staff that they have ruin experience of dining it is just like a typical dhaba now, they might serve you fresh shawarma or a stale one depending on which time you go, the dishes are now overpriced and in this price one can go to Jama masjid and have lawish food at karims Al jawahar or Qureshi kabeb corner. They are good can give 3 stars not more than that because now they are earning of the fame that they have earned. The worst part is you need to ask for tissue papers, and the table service guy will ask you if you want to add any tip to the bill thats unprofessional !
Good place for Non Vegetarian food. Tasty food nd good service. Little expensive..
Old shop but doesnt taste the same any more. Plus the waiters / the management doesnt care even if you are standing and waiting. These guys ensist on paying cash or will charge 5 percent extra.. and that is if they allow you to pay via debit card / UPI
The BEST place in the world for shawarma rolls. I have visited this outlet multiple times and everytime taste is consistent and so authentic. You cant resist to order more and eat beyond your usual appetite. Taste of the item is really craving.Must try grub for Chicken and meat lovers. Highly recommended!
Good quality of food and services. Location is good, easy reach for everyone in NFC NewDelhi. Sitting arrangements are little awkward, same like street outlets. Not very expensive considering quality of food.
Shawarma is very tasty here but, if you are going for lunch or dinner I will recommend any other branch in Delhi because I didnt find the good taste. Even there is a branch of Al bake in Living Style Mall Jasola Delhi, The taste is far better from here. I love Kadhai chicken in the menu. You have to try it once with Butter Naan.
Widest papular for its Shawarma RollsRest gravy items are ok ok kind....Sitting on foot path that has tobe adjusted...
Try only Shawrma Rolls here, That is what this place is famous for. All other items are just ok ok.But Shawrma is Must Try.
The good thing they had was Chicken Shawarma. It has now been turned into something that cannot be called a Shawarma. Served with atta bread and controlled taste for the concious. Shawarma is all about taste and exists no more !! Sad but true...
We ordered afghani chicken as starter and tawa chicken for main course along with khameeri roti and roomali roti. The dishes were super tasty and we were fully satiated. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Worthy place for mughlai lovers
Go there for their Sharwmas only, the qty might not be sufficient but the taste is pretty awesome. It is a must go place if you are passing by that area and need something to fill you up for a while.
Shawarma is now the size of Khandvi, and the price is on the high. Had the taste been amazing, I wouldnt have cared but even that wasnt as good as it was before. Al Bake can do better, but I guess it chooses not to because brand.
It is a small place in NFC market, the Shawarma at this place is to die for. It has small tables good for quick bites. They have a bigger menu but the speciality is chicken Shawarma.
Good service and seating arrangement, must try shourba roll, dhaba chiken(speciallity al bake) , khameeri roti and special kheer(phirni).
Worst food quality😠😡..opened da packet to eat aftr 2 hrs of purchase..n it ws smelling n stale😡all the shawrma rolls got waste as well as my amount of apprx.900rs.
100% then place to go if you love Shawarmas.Seating and ambience can be improved be who cares when the Shawarmas are this good. Staff is friendly, be sure to tip them.
Good for non vegetarians and give them online payment with original bill not cash they will take extra rupees if you give them cash🤝
Best (indian) shawarma in Delhi ncr. They have franchises but the quality of chicken shawarma is best in NFC Branch. The chicken is juicy and creamy and the flavour is amazing, the soft roti they stuff the chicken is heavenly. Have been going for 15 years now ,still love it!! Although they have jacked up the prices alot but i think anyone can visit once or twice a year! Try to sit there and eat it instead of takeaway as it tastes best hot from the shawarma roasting machine and with unlimited extra mayonnaise!!
Al Bake is famous for Shawarma and we liked it as well. However did not liked the main course. We ordered Bhuna Chicken basis the recommendation of the server but it was not a good preparation.
Al-Bake located in complex of New friends colony, Delhi. Famous for their only speciality- Chicken shawarma rolls. The restaurant is good, but you have to wait at peak hours to get a table. Very much crowed and popular though
Going there since 2011. Used to have the best shawarma in town. Quality has got down in recent years, but still worth visiting.
Good place to eat shawarma, ambiance is not that good , its lacking the basic amenities like washrooms and drinking water.
People should remember there starting time. From where they have started there business.MashaAllah they have built very good business and made huge popularity. But it doesnt mean that you forget everything. You forget customer respect, how to behave with customers, how to treat customers.Very bad attitude specially the lady owner who sits on cash counter.Erogance in their behavior and talk .They have become very cruel after they earned wealth.I just want to say remember there is Allah who have given you everything when you were nothing. So if Allah can bless you with everything then you should be afraid from that he can take everything whenever he wants.May Allah bless you with hidayah..Aameen
Shawarma is what its famous for. Taste of shawarma is inconsistent.
Quality has gone down and price has increased twin fold, people expect better quality after paying double the price
One of the best place where I go for dine. It was my 3rd visit to Al-Bek. Non-veg dishes are too awesome. Prices are also budget-friendly.
Quality of shwarma is a bit low than it is used to before, but still it was good.Overall a complete family restaurant.
Good experience. Taste was good but quantity of chicken in shawarma was very less according to the price they are charging.
Its a good eatery for Non-vegetariansLocation:Located in NFC ( New Friends Colony ) close to Jamia Metro Station 🚉Good things:The Shawarma here is very good. I have tasted it on the busiest day. I have also tried their Chicken from Tandoor cooked. It something worth trying if you are near that area. They dont have a closed dining place.Talking about budget, I personally feel they deserved that price. Food was tasty.Recommendations: Keep 1K bucks in your pocket and go with 2-3 Friends.
Worst shawarma in a decade. Worst Taste. Worst mayo. Worst packing. Worst service. Never recommend.
Ok food...there used to be a wow factor but now its missing.
Tawa chicken + khamiri roti .. what a dinner I had today.. maza aa gaya
The place has definitely lost its charm and lustre. The portions have reduced. The preparations are quite oily and disproportionate in terms of spices. We ordered a biryani and the regular dhaba chicken. The rumaali roti was cold and stale. Needless to say, its only the prime real estate and an established name thats working out for Al bake now.If anyones around the area and really want to eat at the place, do try out the Shawarma.
Just name nothing else, tasteless food, worst customer service experience. They even dont have enough staff to manage it.Do not recommend for it.
One of the most popular places in South Delhi famous for mouth watering Shawarma Rolls and Tawa Chicken
This place is good for shawarma only, if you really want to enjoy your treat then order shawarma and stop your craving right there or you would end up spoiling your mood at the end.I tried these items:Shawarma : it was really amazing with juicy burst.Chiken lollipop : Decent, usual taste nothing special.Chiken momos : Decent, usual taste nothing special.Chiken biryani : below average, hardly eatable if hungry.Chiken soup : Wont recommend at all.
As juicy and delicious as always, the shawarma at Al-bake is the king of shawarmas. The char-grilled rotisserie meat is sliced and minced into tiny smithereens, melded in a custom spread, rolled up in a soft roti and served with the Al-Bake exclusive mayo. The shawarma is wee bit small in size and costs 70 Rs, but worth every penny. The sole item in the menu has sky-rocketed the fame of the tiny outlet to higher grounds. They claim it to be a Lebanese delicacy, but it feels hints more towards Mughai. They have newly introduced the nawabi kheer, which is again, particularly signature. Solid milk concentrates blended with pista, badam, cardamom and many other secret elements to form the heavy kheer served in a clay goblet. The outlet is the most crowded spot in the whole of New Friends Colony Community Centre. The small retailer also has a branch in Saket which is pulling in thousands by the day.So don’t go by their shabby countenance. It is more about the sweet old world charm of the food. Also, it is served faster than the speed of light. So if you are pressed on time, a quick bit from Al bake is quite the worth. Running for years, unsurprisingly on quality, the restaurant is a must-try.
If you like spicy, try Hyderabadi Mutton. It tastes amazing.
Its A Moderate Type of Qsr Restaurant where Highly Recommend is Chicken Shawarma .The Place is at New Friends Colony Cc.
Food are tasty but sitting arrangement is not so good.
It used to be the best place for shwarma rolls in past, but not anymore. their quality is degrading day by day, regular visitor to this place :(
Must try dhaba chicken and afghani chicken if you like something creamy
Shawarma! No one can compete with Al Bake. Just go for it guys. Awesome taste on a reasonable price.
Please try their swarma and nalli nihari awesome taste
Nice place to eat non-veg. But chilli potato was also there which was yummy.
Good food but hell expensive..from Delhi per say it is expensive and need to be looked into..people come for the name but just a shawrama at 160 is very high to ask for...
Need improvement in shawarma... quality n quantity changed laga
I love al bake chicken shawarma
The place is good but they dont provide water bottles unlrss asled
Al bake is a little joint located at dda complex, New friends colony. The place is only known for its food and the location and surroundings are pretty ordinary. I tried paneer shawarma, kadhai paneer along with some breads. Everything was nice and cooked to perfection. Though the quantity of shawarma is very less. They serve you 2 little pieces of shawarma in one serving
Taste is decreasing every time I go there and price is increasing.....lets see what happen next
There was too much salt in chicken briyani as if salt was put on top of rice there was no taste in briyani only salty. Raita given was very watery and old..... Useless briyani
Using rotten chicken is there shawarma. And on complaint not listening for it.Making excuses, but not excepting there fault
Lost its authenticity..... no more a old school al bake
Shawarma is superb but price is increasing like kids height. It was like 80 rupees in 2017 now 120. So according to maths in 2025 it will be 200
The shawarma is very good and the other dish is ok.
Best shawrma in Okhla..
Like to eat shawrma. So I like to visit and want to go al- bake.
Al bake is preferable food destination for non veg lovers basically as this place serves best shawarma roll in entire Delhi nothing can beat taste of those juicy and tender chicken shawarma rolls served with creamy mayonnaise. Shawarma is basically a lebanese food famous in middle east first introduced to delhites by Al Bake only.Al though they serve huge variety of veg and non veg dishes their tandoori chicken is again something mouth watering. Its located in NFC market which is already a paradise for foodies as this place has 40 restaurants, dhabas and food joints.
