Rooms are sufficient for 2 person,staff are polite,if you are looking for room with budget prise,so go for it.one best thing of the hotel is that its middle of the market and you easily go out and take your meal or whatever you want.

Bengali hotel , near Bankey Bihari Mandir. It is just 750 meter away from New Delhi Railway station. The behavior of staffs are polite. Ac and non Ac rooms are available in a cheap price. Clean and hygienic rooms are available though rooms are small in size but clean and according to price okay type. Food restaurant is there just below the hotel. Hot water is available. Overall ok type but not a luxury. This is the only Govt. Approved Bengal Hotel in New Delhi.

If you dont know your way around new delhi then its hard to find this place.... The rooms are small clean but small same goes for the bathroom...the staff is well behaved.... Single person who are willing to adjust can survive here...overall its an okay place stricktly for a single person...!!!

Location is good since its just 1.5 - 2 KM from New Delhi Railway station. Room was small but still sufficient according to its price. I got impure water for drink & in the washroom. Bed & Bedsheet was good & clean as expected. One of the staff member was very helpful. Bathroom was below average condition. But what I didnt like was the rude behavior of another staff member. He started arguing with me (that too with intention of debate) when I asked for Bill/Receipt which was very important for me. I was trying to convince him in proper word but he just went on arguing with me without any reason. The other 2 staff members were watching all this from starting but they didnt said a word against him. So, I went out without the Bill/Receipt & without arguing with that man. Very dissatisfied with all this.

It was a nice and pleasurable experience at Shivam Palace. The good things about this budget hotel is its location...equal distance from RK ASHRAM Metro station and New Delhi railway station and presence of so many eateries nearby hotel. I have stayed here several times before and have never been disappointed. So overall nice stay ...

Not bad at all ! I felt the rooms are clumsy & dampy for not having exact space for windows. One have to carry out hot water from the staircase if required for bathing purpose in winter (In each floor there are hot water taps in the statircase), means no option for geyser in toilets. Rooms were well cleaned (Along with bedroll) & I found the hotel stuffs are too friendly. They helped me to explore beautiful places in Delhi & booked urgent flight ticket with minimum charge. Love their hospitality. Ill recommend to stay in Hotel Shivam Palace while in Delhi.

This one is value for money stay place. Well you cant expect more than the hotel boy can carry hot water till your room.The room is quiet good fit solo travelers. The area is reachable from new Delhi railway station within 10min walk.All as a whole is good

Good hotel. Bigger and clean rooms. I Checked early without any restriction. Nearest metro station is R K Ashram. Food was also available in the hotel. Staff behavior was good. Overall the hotel was good. One can stay with family.

According to the money they charged i would give them 4 stars. I stayed there for 2 days. The staffs and the hotel manager is quite friendly but not so helpful. Thus place does have small rooms and really really small washrooms. Though i booked a non-ac room, the room was ok ok and u could get almost every general aminities form them. I would recommend this hotel for short stays. The environment of the hotel is also ok and it was not much difficult to find out the hotel through the Google maps. It is a good budget hotel and will recommend for short stays.

Rooms are fine If youre tight on budget.Bathrooms are very small.No hot water in bathroom, there is a tap for hot water on stairs. There is no lift, I am mentioning this because I am a patient of gout. They gave me a room on 3rd floor which was very painful for me to climb. I requested them for a room on ground or first floor, they listened but were not interested in really helping out. Also they charge rs25 for a 1l bottle of bisleri. Youll get a TV in your room though available with most of the channels.

Good place only if you are just looking for a room to do timepass like for getting fresh and leaveCosting is 700 for a 24hr check. Although room is clean but are old old a little rusty.

I stayed here for 1 night at room number 102 too small room and the bathroom not to say even single person cant even stand there properly, its difficult to take bath and loo. Dirty and unhygienic washroom. Bed is too noisy. Not even arranged correctly. So pathetic experience with the hotel. Food is little expansive.

Hotel is good for stay of short time for solo person. Do not find facilities of star hotels. Just fill your need at low cost

The room is good for a single stay. The hotel is located in a filthy street. The staff need to be taught about the basic etiquette for dealing with the customers. I was terrified to see a rat in the bathroom. Even filthy stench from the borehole were experienced. Besides, I have sensed the smell of alcohol and cigars from the nearby rooms.The advantages are that it is located in the heart of city therefore, it is easy to access the places, availability of free WiFi along with cheap accomodation.

The room is just ok. There were no lights in bathroom. Also no water, we had to pick water from other room in bucket to take bath and to go toilet. I dont know if they have solved all their problems. There is a no good hotels near by. But almost close to the railway station. At last the room boy wants tip for their crappy service. The boy was nice behaved but their service was poor.Yet the room is economical and affordable. It would be better if they could clean up all those mess.The room is not visible from a car. We had to walk more than 2 km with our leguage to find the room. I think, there is one more hotel with same name, and that made confusion for the locals we enquired about the room.

I paid Rs 1200 for 4 days NoN AC 1 room 2 adults.Value to money, but there is one problem i.e, ventilation window was too small. And No Lift is available. Overall was good.

If you prefer bengali food, must visit this place. This is a hotel, you can stay here also, though this is a small hotel, but decent enough. This hotel atmosphere is almost same as west bengal. If you are bengali, then stay here while visiting New Delhi, cheap room rent, familiar home-made food.

Only the behaviour of the stuffs were very good in this hotel.Apart from this everything else was worst.It looks like a hotel built a century back having broken walls and railings.Part of plaster was coming out of the walls which in unrepaired.The bathroom was dirty and made of broken parts.Even the bed linen was torn and cottons coming out of it.The tiles of the bathroom was broken and pipes were coming out which were not underneath the walls.The bathroom lock was broken as well. never seen such untidy hotels like this.

I stayed in a Non-AC room in summer time and it was hot like hell. There is no scope of ventilation in rooms. Bathroom is too small and suffocating. Flush was not working. But room was clean and service is ok.
