Overall peaceful. But then, being surrounded by nature always is. An extension of the Aravallis, youll find trees similar to what youll find in Rajasthan. There are a couple of jheels (lakes), a Pracheen Shiva Sri Kaviteshwar Temple,a desi gym, a plant nursery, a Seismology department office, among other surprises.The other surprises one should expect are lovers, sometimes found behind trees, thick bushes, and bigger rocks. Caution- do not point your camera at them, else they get aggressive.

Its alongwith the University of Delhi Campus...one of the best maintained Forests ( By Our department in DU) in Delhi. Now it is a declared Biodiversity Park.Perfect placee for running, yoga and other excercise activities in morning and evening. Some instructor is there for yoga in morning... anybody can join. There is a badminton court also. And a classic old school gym in between the jungle just near main gate.Some historical sites are inside it. Cant ake you cycle also.Its a very quiet and peaceful place to go for a date. But you should be careful...there are some disgusting couples who cant control themselves and get physical in inner areas of park.I go there for running in morning...what a place !!

It is quite natural area and unlike Delhi. You might feel that you are no more in Delhi. You need to take a stick in order to keep monkeys and dogs away. The path is sometines confusing for new visitors but people will happily tell you the way. There are number of gates which needs to be understood carefully.

The ridge has a huge potential to evolve as a biodiversity park cum recreational hub but it had been neglected for so long. Its the BEST AND THE WORST OF DELHI. Its been infamous for the notoriety in it but could be transformed through place making and branding to give it a new identity. Just needs proper attention of the government and peoples back and it wouldnt be just a place for walks, jogs and behind the shrubs activities. Herere some flicks which look do terrible but have potential for betterment.

Best place to jog and run near DU North Campus. The largest running distance streches upto 3 km from one end to the other.Entry allowed from 6 am till 6:30 pm, timing differs in winters. Huge number of Rhesus Monkeys can be seen in and around the area. They will not bother you as long as you do not intimidate them. Three different entry/exit points with parking.

Very secluded. Recommended for private people who like to explore without meeting a lot of people. There are lots of monkeys (do not be alarmed):) enjoy the walk.

This is big garden surrounded by lot of trees and Greenery. It feels like a jungle from inside. It has a monument situated in the middle. The only downside is that it has lot of monkeys which could be annoying.

Its a lovely place for a walk. Peaceful, green, you have benches at intervals to rest and street lamps throughout, unless you go off path. And if you wanna go off path, I would recommend a stick - lots of monkeys around. They generally dont disturb you but just in case. Also for same reason wouldnt suggest taking out any eatables while inside. Lot of regulars come for walks, to play n run around, athletics etc.

Scared monkeys on the gate and suspicious looking couples inside is what you will find here. Completely natural and katcha pathways. Go here for a walk. Never miss the tea and bread muska if you by any chance get onto gate number 6. Monkeys here like tomatoes, take some if you want to see their talent of catching the thrown tomatoes.But, bicycles are not allowed inside.

Its a very big park. Its a kind jungle but with clear footpaths made. Good for clean air with city for morning and evening walks. No washroom inside. You will find some activities to do on your own and If you are lucky enough you could find peacock in there. Happy walking

There are lots of trees and more than trees are shrubs....but the best things what I liked are thos Rocks..And also there are no kind of rare plants available but apart from all this..yeah..You can feel a parched jungle scenario over there if you ignore the paths but not trails.But guys I would like to say as this place is well known as the Lungs Of Delhi so it supposed to be more verdant.

Absolutely stunning place tucked away in the heart of old Delhi. The place is full of history which unfortunately not lot many ppl know. This is the place where British Indian Army took a stand after the first battle at Badli Ki Sarai near old subji market in jun of 1857. Britisher build up there defences and prodded the old walled city as base from this places. Flag staff tower in the centre of the ridge is the most prominent landmark which witnessed initial congregation of British families as they fled from the walled city. Apart from vantage point the place offers maximum defence potential. The freedom fighters launched number of attack on the ridge but each time failed. The place consist of flag staff tower, charburjia mosque, some british graves and whole load of other monuments. Place is green, well maintained nice, quiet and draws a decent crowd. Recommended as a must visit place.

Good place for walking and runnig in fresh air.Also good views of forest type are available for photography for both amateur and professional photographers 😎.It covers a very large area also the running and walking track is of about 5kms.Here You can also see many couples indulge in making love efforts to each other 👅😍😝.Here You may also confront with mischievous monkeys.Overall its a pollution free area.. Your lungs are very safe till you are in this area.I usually go for runnig here in the morning and evening both.

Beautiful place for exercise, nature walk and some peaceful timee away from the hustle and bustle of the city. People come here for exercise, walk and relaxation. Also couples come here a lot as there is very less disturbance from society there. Be carefull of the monkeys which may attack is you try to get near them. It gets very beautiful in October to December as the beautiful bougenville starts blooming.

You would be surprised how beautiful jungle has been created.. Thick canopy of trees and grass. Great for evening walk, jogging and just being in nature. The only thing that is bothering is overgrown population of monkey and stray dogs.
