Mainly known as a haunted place, this is more of a deserted area with lots of animals roaming around amidst greenery. Yes its a isolated place which might keep you on your toes. Not many people come here. I didnt go inside Malcha Mahal. The road that leads to the Mahal is very quiet. Right next to Malcha Mahal is Delhi Earth Station-ISRO. I wouldnt really recommend this place to someone who is looking for peace. Of course there are other places that you can explore. Here you will only find animals on the way and there is nothing constructive to see. Right now this Mahal is not even taken care of by government so the place is in bad form and unguarded.
Its a good place for visit but its covered by earth station (ISRO) of delhi So due to this the civilians is not allowed to go there for security reasons. Then be safe and enjoy....
Malcha Mahal on the Sardar Patel Marg ridge area in New Delhi is an old mahal like structure, but without any resemblance to any Mahal (i.e. Palace) 9f those good old days. Till couple of years back, this old mahal of Tugalak era, used to be the home of the descendants of Nawab of Oudh. During those days, nobody was allowed to visit this mahal or even venture nearby, as the Prince (Ali Raza, also known as Cyrus) used to object to outsiders visit. At times, he would fire in air to scare away the visitors. After the death of the Prince in late 2017, this mahal is now visited by visitors, with nobody to look after it.
This is considered as one of the haunted places in Delhi. But actually if you going there with group then it is one of the best place to enjoy. The view from the roof is amazing. From the roof we can see Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate and Lotus temple like places. It was such a great experience to be their. The jungle make it horror place but it is not horror.
Its a restricted area said to be haunted by begum wilayat who used to live here with her kids. Around 2017 last person of this family died. After his death authorities failed to protect this place and people started to loot things and now it has some broken furniture, clothes of prince and some other stuff of royal family. Visiting this place after dark is not recommended due to various reasons. I have explored this place inch by inch in day and night. So be careful visiting this place. Only come in group.
Lovely peaceful place ,I recommend going in the night for a greater experiencePeople say it is a haunted place .I didnt find it haunted instead very lovely , historical, and peaceful😍😍💯
This place is very difficult is leave a life but last awad vanshaj last 38 years living life without any communication till 2017 please think
The view from the roof of Malcha Mahal is fantastic. You can see the Rashtrapati Bhavan on one side across the forested ridge...and Nehru place further towards the right and dhaula kuan right behind you.
Historic haunting palace made by Firoz Shah Tuglaque
Nice place for walks
Malcha Mahal, also known as Wilayat Mahal, is a Tughlak era hunting lodge in the Chanakyapuri area of New Delhi, India next to the Delhi Earth Station of the Indian Space Research Organisation. It was built by Firuz Shah Tughlaq, who reigned over the Sultanate of Delhi, in 1325.Djinns at the Feroz Shah Kotla Fort, a lady in white at Dwarka’s Sector 9 metro station and Malcha Mahal- the Paranormal Society of India tells us whether these places are haunted or not.· Located in the heart of Lutyens Delhi, it came to be known as Malcha Mahal as it faced Malcha Marg
Lovely view but kinda jungle area, beware of monkeys
With crazy to love adventurous friends that place is the gold mine.. For Very adventurous location in dense forest
Not worth visiting rather go to any district park. Spooky place full of rug and abandoned boxes.. even a dead refrigerator 😂.. dont waste your time going here. Youll regret your decision.
A very nice place with good environment and very touchy place with tree and quiet hunted also if we go with friends of family its going to be so much enthusiastic for you guys but I thing it is in state of ruins because of connivance of government there must be take care of our monumental things but even then its nice place to visit that is new, nice and fascinating place going to happen for you guys..
The place has an eerie feel to it. Its not maintained and in dilapidated state. The way to the structure is full of monkeys.
Untouched since the Nawab of Oudh died. Can find furniture hanging from the trees and old carpets ruffled up. Must go and see the terrace too
Those who love haunted place must go there. We were roaming here at 2 am morning and police caught us. 😂😂😂We didnt get the chance to explore the whole place 😅
A historic place also know as one of the haunted places in Delhi but the beauty of this place is beyond The view from the top of the Mahal is worth watching
A Royal Palace Full Of Sorrowness
Most haunted place.also most deep inside the main road.located in the midst of dense garden. Advisable not to go alone as it is located deeply inside and not will be able to heard a sound too... always go with 3 to 4 people group.and entry is strictly prohibited after evening..
How quiet and peaceful - and what great undisturbed views of Delhi
They say it is haunted. But has a great story to tell. The view from the terrace of the mehal is breathtaking.
Not so haunted but gives an extremely rare and beautiful view of New Delhi....Dont go alone as there is no path .you have to make way through the dense forest cover
Located within forestA bit difficult to findNothing just stinking ruins
Place was historical and good as well but now as not that much interesting as compared by past time. Now nothing special interesting there nor any special historical items. Which can we search ok them.
Restricted forest area said to be haunted, dont go alone specially girls keep group of 5-6 people atleast, be warned group of monkeys were there , it was scary but somehow we entered, experience was both awesome and scary as its a secluded area and I heard there is one dargah supposed to be off limit. So be careful guys..
Really scary place so many monkeys please visit in group if possible ! But when you reach that Mahal it looks amazing the view is so amazing that youdont want to get out of here

This place used to be the residence of Awadh nawab descendants...now a deserted place.

The blockade is so extensive that it is impossible to see inside the Mahal. I wonder how the ones living inside even managed to get their groceries.
Its awesome place in Delhi if you are enjoying to watch any old place that link some history then this place is good. In this place people says its haunted or something any else they all are wrong... But we all know that when a house or any place where no one can live its became haunted... But I suggest you while you came come in morning or evening. Time because location is mid of jungle... So surroundings became scarey.... But come with your friend or at least 2 to 4 persons. Its little bit scare because every one knows history of that place....
This place is known for the claimant who claimed that she was the heiress of the Nawabs of Lucknow. Her name was Begun Vilayat Mahal. When she claimed the then PM Mrs Indira Gandhi gave her the permission to live in the Malcha Mahal. This place is ruined abandoned and surrounded by the woods.
Known as but not literally a horror place
A quaint place where it feels as if time has stopped. The road sign on the main Sardar Patel Marg reads Delhi Earth Station and take a left which leads you straight to the ISRO center. We had to struggle inside the bushes to find our way into the century old hunting lodge aka Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal. It was the residence of alleged family of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. The place is rumored to be haunted, but i personally did not find any supernatural energy interference. If you are someone loves to explore the unexplored, do pay a visit and you would be delighted, the surrounding area inside the ridge is a perfect place to take slow walks and unwind. Go feed some monkeys if you please.
Haunted place having wild dogs
Good tourist place
Such a spooky place, eerie feeling start coming when step into the boundary of macha Mahal. ISRO earth station lying besides of malcha Mahal
Haunted place in chanakya puri where no one can go there.....
I saw malcha mahal. Two Years ago.
Worst place to vist nothing to visit
This place is in the heart of the capital.Surrounded in the lush green woods of keekar and ganga imli. The Mahal cannot be seen by anyone due to govt. restrictions and there is a board saying that intruders will be gundown at sight. However one can get a slight glimpse of the palace. There are lots of animal species that can be spotted on the way to Mahal. This place is even said to be haunted.Best way to visit is by cycle.A must check on !!
