Taste is good. Quantity is average for the price they charge. Must look into cleanliness. I was served on banana leaf, it had dust on it. Drinking glass I got had stains.

Had dinner here today (18-11-2017), We bought Rava Idli, Masala Dosa, Rava Dosa & some Masala rice,DO NOT EVEN THINK OF TASTING THEIR COFFEE, IT WAS HORRIBLE, Horrible is the least effective word I can think of when describing their coffee.Rava Idli was not good was hard, per Idli 25Rs, Masala Dosa & Rava Dosa were good, Masala Rice was okay not that good,They serve Full Meals for dinner, Sambar provided for Dosa was good, But I would prefer Nalpak, Mylari or Dosa Point over this, only advantage is Samrat is open late night unlike other restaurants at Mysore.

I visited Hotel Samrat a few weeks back for breakfast. I was thinking that it is a North Indian restaurant, but it is a South Indian restaurant. I ordered Puri and Sabzi with tea. Puri Sabzi served with Coconut Chutney and was delicious in taste. And what I like the most was the tea which I ordered after Puri Sabzi. Tea was awesome even I suggested my friend who was on a visit to Mysore to sip a cup of tea there. The breakfast was a bit costly but overall a tasty breakfast deserve to be little costly.
